@OmegaStarScream Do you know something about the KYC with Bitrefill? We were talking about it in the French forum and a member showed us that the site has a KYC for amounts above $1500. However, we tried to buy a gift card from lastminutes.com for a value of $4000 and nothing was specified about it. So there is a KYC or not?
Hello, you can check the daily limits in detail here https://www.bitrefill.com/termsTLDR, you have a daily limit for Gift Cards of 2500 USD if you don't have an account with us, or 5000 USD if you do. Single orders cannot exceed 2000 USD. Limits can be rised upon customer verification.

after that experience, i started using bitrefill for amazon.com gift cards. they are unfortunately the most expensive option by far. they charge an extra 2% on everything. they do have the added bonus of processing with zero confirmations (make sure not to use RBF though!) if you pay with 6+ sat/byte fee rate, so i always use them when i'm in a hurry. however, i'm getting sick of being overcharged every time so i might go back to the bitpay wallet.
I've noticed this too after using them. As far as I know they are the one and only gift card provider that sticks a premium on top though I guess almost all others use Bitpay's exchange rate. It kind of negates the point. If you have a decent exchange you may as well use that as it'll almost certainly be cheaper than 2%. For another 0.5% I can use a Coinbase debit card which leaves me with money to spend elsewhere should I wish it. I'd choose that instead. There are different strategies, we decided to compete based on service and global availability. However, we are constantly trying to get new sources and setting the lowest prices posible. People that do not care to leak personal data, shopping with a debit card or buying Gift Cards from poor track record companies, are not our typical users.

The platfrom itself is reputable but since you're trading with other individuals, you could come across carders/scammers and because of that, I rather not list it here.
I saw a guy accusing that paxful was not clean. He was denied payment of 0.4 BTC and when he requested support he was denied. The topic is located hereI'm not sure what he said is true, because he has no evidence, but with the information you give, it is not secure, there is always a risk of losing money anytime.

@o_e_l_e_o I can vouch for Coinsbee. I'm using it regularly to buy different cards, since the site has been launched, and well, no problem, It works very well as advertised. Too bad I missed the black Friday they had a 10% discount :/ Half of my furniture has been paid with gift cards from Coinsbee. (All I need now is the heating (now that I have electricity) ) And nope, it's only VCCs. @shield132 You don't need to provide your debit card details to Sephora if you're paying with a gift card, you need to give your personal information (if you want to receive the item of course) @OmegaStarScream Do you know something about the KYC with Bitrefill? Perhaps you can also pay your heating by using coinsbee.com. ;-)

Can anyone check to see if "eGifter" is working on their side or it's only on mine? - I'm getting a red "network error" warning (with or without a VPN) but IsItDownRightNow says it's up and running.
Due to Coronavirus, I've been staying at home for more than a month already [will probably be staying for another month or so] and wanted to buy myself an Xbox [I'm a PC person] so I can play with my loved ones while hanging out in the living room and due to my current location, the only way for purchasing gift cards is this thread [with the help of crypto payments]. I noticed there is a warning in Bitrefill that says "gift code may only work in" certain countries and was wondering if anyone has tried using Bitrefill for purchasing Xbox codes from another country/region and successfully redeeming it [coinsbee has different regions as well but not from where I am and some of the providers from the list have no warning about regions locks]? - I also read about a workaround [changing location and trying again on xbox] but based on comments, it didn't work for everyone.

I can't be sure because the internet service provider recently announced that their international fiber optic cable was in trouble
I'm also very fed up with the epidemic, and i don't even use my PC to play games, i'm in a place other than my house unable to move, inconvenience to discomfort
Ahhhh, I realized that you need to buy a playstation gift card, I can provide it for you

All I'm getting are some spinning blue circles. What country are you in? Codes can be a lottery. I've seen people saying some worked and some didn't when they were in other countries. If you want a code to buy a whole machine then I wouldn't risk it. Someone may have a suggestion that's not listed here. Or you could find a shipping forwarder or someone here to buy and send for you.

I bought Xbox GCs (EUR) from Bitrefill and gave them to friends who lives in North africa before, and they never had any issues redeeming them (Done that multiple times). All they needed to do was to change their region to 'France' using either the console or the app. As for eGifter, it's working fine on my end but apparently, they're only selling U.S GCs.

Just checked and it appears they were in the middle of maintenance [it loads normally now].
Ahhhh, I realized that you need to buy a playstation gift card, I can provide it for you I appreciate it but I will be looking [probably next week] at Xbox GCs [not PS GCs]

No, not for the whole console. I'll be using it for purchasing games and for the console, I can buy it from an unofficial store [unfortunately, due to sanctions we've got no official stores for any kind of American brand].
I bought Xbox GCs (EUR) from Bitrefill and gave them to friends who lives in North africa before, and they never had any issues redeeming them (Done that multiple times). All they needed to do was to change their region to 'France' using either the console or the app.
Thank you, that's a relief. Will probably do the same when I get my hands on my Xbox and Xbox GCs... - Will probably post an update by next week or so.
Thanks to all of you for responding fast, I appreciate it

Updates:
- Added a new column (Sell BTC to FIAT) since both Coinsbee and Bitrefill are now offering WebMoney, Yandex and QIWI. - You can now top-up your phone using Coinsbee. - CoinCards is now accessible from anywhere and you don't have to use a VPN anymore.
I'm planning to add information about the site's limits/KYC requirements soon, so if you have any info about that (I couldn't find much except for Coinsbee and Bitrefill), please let me know!
Also, does anyone know what happened to WeGift? Are they no longer offering gift cards to individuals?

Nope, by visiting their website they work only with businesses. The only thing I remember about providing gift cards to individuals is when it was possible at the time to link our Coinbase account to Wegift to convert cryptos into vouchers. https://blog.coinbase.com/announcing-a-new-way-to-spend-your-coinbase-crypto-e-gift-cards-59687ff77c13I remember trying but something was wrong, it ended quickly. As for the limits and KYC eGifter says: The maximum amount that can be purchased by a single person across multiple gift cards is $10,000 The maximum amount that can be purchased by a single person for a single brand is $2,000 https://support.egifter.com/hc/en-us/articles/115010487747-Is-there-any-limitation-for-the-amount-I-can-purchase-Gyft says: The total/aggregate amount that you may load on one or multiple Gift Cards in a single day should not exceed $2,000. https://www.gyft.com/terms-of-sale/GiftOff says: Orders of any size are welcome https://giftoff.com/faqBidali says: Prior to a customer being able to perform a transaction using Bidali's products or services, Bidali must identify the customer, known as Know Your Customer ("KYC"), in accordance with applicable regulations. Bidali has a policy which requires all customers to be "verified" prior to being able to accept any form of transactions through our platform https://www.bidali.com/policies/amlRestrict the value of each card to a maximum of 2,000 in fiat denominated currency (USD, CAD, GBP, AUD, EUR); and Restrict to a maximum of 9,500 in fiat denominated currency (USD, CAD, GBP, AUD, EUR), in either a single order or combined order value, within 24 hours. 6.6 https://www.bidali.com/policies/terms

As for the limits and KYC
It's possible the provider won't care but the payment processor will. Giftoff used to use Bitpay, not sure if they do now as they seem to have various providers, but I remember people talking about linking ID to Bitpay payments for larger amounts. Not sure if they actually implemented it.

but I remember people talking about linking ID to Bitpay payments for larger amounts. Not sure if they actually implemented it. Yeah, they did. You can read here (about halfway down): https://bitpay.com/blog/bitpay-dashboard-id/ If you make a payment of more than the equivalent of $3,000 using BitPay, so around a third of a bitcoin in today's prices, you get asked for KYC. I would suggest that if a merchant uses BitPay, then you choose a different merchant if at all possible, even if you don't trigger their KYC threshold. BitPay are anti-privacy and anti-bitcoin, and funded by known scammer Roger Ver. Do any of these gift card providers use BitPay? Gift cards in particular are one area where there is no shortage of merchants to choose from, so avoiding BitPay should be easy enough. If a merchant you are using is using BitPay, ask them to look in to switching to BTCPay instead.

What a nice thread @OmegaStarScream. Good job! Thanks again for your permission to translate your thread and post it on the German board. We got a few non English speakers there and I received feedback, that they really appreciated your thread. I am linking it here again, if thats okay: [Liste] Gutscheinanbieter für Bitcoins oder Altcoins - 04/2020
I also would like to add a quick review: I bought several gift cards via Bitrefill and Coinsbee (always 2 or 3 digit amounts) so far and never had a single problem. On Bitrefill it also worked to buy a non German gift card (since the shop somehow wasn't available on Bitrefill for German customers) and use it for the German online store. Pretty cool, actually. Of course, the fees could be a little smaller, but I guess these companies also need to make some BTC. Keep up the good work everyone! Thumbs up!

I just tested them all: - Bitrefill: Not using any third party to process their payments. - Coinsbee: CoinGate - CoinCards: BTCPayServer - eGifter: Uses both BitPay and NetCents (You can choose) - GiftOff: OpenNode - Bidali: accepting payments directly. - Gyft: BitPayBitPay facilitate converting your BTC to fiat (withdrawals directly to your bank account) which in my opinion is why a lot of big names (like Namecheap, Shipito, Vultr, Scan UK) are still using it. So, if a merchant is not interested is hodling bitcoin, I doubt they would switch to BTCPay. What a nice thread @OmegaStarScream. Good job! I also suggest adding the following info: - Coinsbee is based in Germany (More german GCs compared to the other providers). - They accept other payment methods: Cuneros (cuneros.de), klamm-Lose (klamm.de) and Primera (primeraportal.de).

So, if a merchant is not interested is hodling bitcoin, I doubt they would switch to BTCPay. It's a shame, but you are correct. Until there is a bigger push back from the community against merchants who continue to support anti-bitcoin companies like BitPay, then they will continue to use them just for their convenience. And given that there is generally a limited pool of merchants accepting bitcoin at all, then most users will continue to shop at those companies using BitPay because there are no alternatives. It is possible to set up automatic fiat conversion with BTCPay, using automatic payment forwarding to an exchange, and then automatic selling on said exchange, but obviously that's considerable more work to set up than BitPay. There is a medium article about it here: https://medium.com/@prayankgahlot/instant-fiat-conversion-with-btcpay-1d2f3dd57352. BTCPay have said that automatic fiat conversion is on their roadmap, so hopefully once they implement that it will be easier to convince companies to stop using BitPay.
