Well I mean these services need to decide, either they accept funds with a criminal history or they do not. In other words. Either they close down their service or not. No way they can sit in between, because then they are seizing funds subjectively and selectively. Your Bitcoin gets seized for having a criminal history but my Bitcoin with criminal history does not because they verified 3 pictures of my face? Make it make sense. Exactly! None of those services disclose how they decide which funds are good or evil, so it's completely arbitrary. It's also a very recent thing that suddenly happens a lot on many different services, which (again) makes me think there's some strong marketing behind it. And that's not in the interest of Bitcoin users.

N100,000=$227 it must be noted that minimum wage is N30,000 = $67/month
to translate amounts
bank cashier requests personal accounts $227 business accounts $1135
ATM $45 daily retail ePOS cashback $45 daily
so its basically saying ATM/retailer cashbask allows 3 weeks salary withdraw and personal bank account bank teller allows ~ 4 month salary withdraw Those are pretty high limits. Many Dutch banks don't even allow to withdraw a couple months salary at once. Rabobank for instance has a default limit of €1250 per week, although you can raise it to €5000 for a day. And if you do that a few times, I bet you get questions. Even though fiat money is pretty much a scam by design, they still don't want to you have "your" money! Let's face it: It is well enough that people of the nation do not understand our banking and monetary system, for if they did, I believe there would be a revolution before tomorrow morning.

If LoyceV receives Bitcoin from a criminal origin, proves to be innocent and forwards the amount to me. Exchanging funds with criminal history on Fixed Float is now fine? This is exactly why fungibility is so important, and taint is a very dangerous attack on Bitcoin's existence. Bitcoin is electronic cash, and like cash, it doesn't matter who used the money before you. Whoever signs the transaction is the owner, that's how Bitcoin works.

In order to continue the exchange or return the money, we must make sure that the funds were received honestly, as well as get all the information about the source of the funds received. Okay, hypothetical: let's say you've blocked my funds, and I tell you I got it from the Currency Exchange board. A simple, honest p2p trade. Is that enough for you to return my funds?

Who decides my address is bad and how? The companies who earn money from selling their taint-detection-services of course! They're also the ones who have all financial interests in promoting the crazy idea that taint even exists, because without it, they'd be out of business. We analyze transactions to addresses that are in our blocklist. In this blocklist, we add addresses that are transmitted by our partners (other exchanges and services) who are aware of the facts of fraud and theft, as well as from victims who come to us with a statement that their funds were stolen. This sounds awfully arbitrary. Can you start by publishing your "blocklist", so customers can check if their addresses are on it before sending their funds to your exchange?

Be careful who you vouch for, he was reported for plagiarism 2 days after your request. I wonder how often you check the mail? Sent a mail yesterday. I saw (and ignored) your email. Anyway, if it is possible please whitelist Legends_Never_Die that's my account😇 I won't. You haven't posted anything in 4 years, I'm not helping you to hide behind an alt.

For real; people buy bottled salt water? That's ridiculous! Please ban Newbie Rushill for plagiarism. Copy: Are aggressive scraping bots also visiting BPIP? Due to the high number of downloads per second, I have banned about 15,000 IP addresses from accessing looney.club. In addition to being annoying, the fact that they use so many IP addresses makes them very aggressive in their data collection. Here you can use IP address tracker to track and understand the bot traffic to block that. OriginalAt the risk of being slightly off-topic: Does BPIP also get visited by agressive scraping bots? Since yesterday, I've banned about 15,000 IP addresses from accessing loyce.club because they were scraping the same data directory with many downloads per second. The fact that they use so many IP addresses makes it annoying to deal with and a very agressive way to collect data. Open IP tracker shows the IPs come from all over the world and are owned by different organisations. It's a combination of text spinning and targeted link spam. Bad bot!

Is there any service/website that provides something like this? I've provided this service for Little Mouse. (It's not about building something like this from scratch, because I'll probably need this only once.) There's not much to it: choose a future block, and take the hash as input to create a semi-random result. This works for any number of participants.

If you want auto-correct, you should use it client-side. Server-side auto-correct is very close to censoring, which shouldn't happen.
Proofreading helps a lot too: Preview your post and read it again before you submit it.

I've been feeling really sick with a bad headache, so I've just been lying in bed all day. We're joining the club ![Sad](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/sad.gif) It feels like we're catching up on all the virusses we've missed out on during the lockdown days, and all of them hit us at the same time now. Get well!

We have time to edit until end of the year, no? A day less. I'd really like to make a graph starting the first day this time, but I'm not sure if I'll have time to do it the last day of the year.

It is possible that the entirety of wage increases over the past 50 years have gone mainly to CEOs and executives. Wealth growth flatlining for other income brackets, could have reached a breaking point where having a job and working full time no longer allows many to pay their bills. In which case, the point and motive for working declines. Isn't that just capitalism? Money gets more and more concentrated, and it's up to government to prevent that. The US isn't very good at preventing it, and the EU mainly acts in the interests of large corporations too, so the current result isn't really a surprise. A market crash seems unacceptable to central banks nowadays, so the classic "reset" won't happen. What's left? War?

Just in ranges searched, probably 60-70 files, probably more, each with 25 million ranges searched. Each file is roughly 1.5 gb in size. ~ EDIT: I found over 350 more files with ranges searched lol. I ran a lot of these with BSGS and the other via brute force. Maybe a searchable database is better? So it's more than 0.5TB already? Pulsed Media gets you 4TB for €3 per month (this Black Friday offer expires soon). Question: how many files would you be looking at by the time you've exhausted the search space? Is it a few times more or several orders of magnitude more?

Get rid of the -100 penalty for a bad report, but instead of the 25 millimerits for a good report being sent automatically, leave it up to the individual moderator's discretion. That way, the mods can spot abuse themselves; if someone spams them with mostly inaccurate reports or if reports seem suspiciously like collusion (e.g. someone keeps reporting new posts from the same user over and over again) then they can decline to issue any millimerits. Maybe the rule could be that when reporting a post, the moderator that handles it has the option of sending you between 0 and 1000 millimerits depending on how useful/valuable your report was. Then (just making up numbers) original reports can get ~60 and redundant (but still good) reports can get ~20, really valuable reports like malware can get ~300, and so on (some moderators would likely be more generous than others). As a Merit source, I don't have the time to send all of them individually (as in: 1000 millimerits at a time). I think asking Mods to manually send smaller amounts is a waste of their time.

There's less spam (and much less posts in general). In the past week, 35,000 posts were made. 4 years ago, there were 350,000 posts per week (that's 10 times more). (I corrected this data)Wow, that's a dramatic difference. Were there more bounties/sig campaigns available then, or was it just that the market was much more bullish then than now? If you click the link: it was the moment Newbies needed 1 Merit to become Jr. Member. Many of them lost their signature space because of this change. But what happens the next time crypto heats up and bitcointalk once again starts attracting all of the illiterate spammers who want to enroll as many alts as possible into bounties? They'll still hit the same signature limits, so they can only spam the bounty boards for made-up tokens. I'd say let them, as long as the forum doesn't close that board.
