5981  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin believers/investors are foolish or low IQ people ? on: August 17, 2019, 09:14:07 AM
For some they do treat this time would be the best time to grab while the market isn't still on its peak (previous ath) but you cant blame those people who do have doubts on getting in specially to those who got rekt on previous crash.
But that is true for any other speculative market. There will be ups and downs in any market and there is nothing called guaranteed profit. You can win and you lose money, all depending on what coins you bought and how they moved after buying.

Quote
Believers/investors aren't foolish, people do keep attacking that bitcoin is a Ponzi scheme but they haven't actually seen on its true potential which is really good for long term.
These are differences in opinion. To some bitcoin is a ponzi even if you try to logically explain to them against it being a ponzi. However there are people who believe in it and thus put their money in it. Whatever suits a person they try to keep their mindset like that.
5982  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Which Dogecoin sport betting website would you recommend? on: August 17, 2019, 09:10:45 AM
However, Fortunejack does, so I will go for this one.
You can be assured with FJ about sports betting that too with dogecoin. Make sure you go through the TOS before you start betting and if you have any questions feel free to ask their live support or on the FJ gambling thread in the gambling section of this forum. Their staff are pretty quick to respond on the live support though so I dont think you would need the second option.

They often organize betting events with huge prizes so make sure to keep an eye on their thread in this forum.
5983  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Newbie - when to take profit on: August 16, 2019, 07:38:21 AM
OP, if you are new to trading stop thinking that you are making silly questions because every doubt is a doubt silly or not does not matter.

Coming back to topic, if you have made a profit, book it and sell the coins. That will ease your mind. This is important because the fact if not sold would plage your mind every time the price dropped. This leads to a vicious cycle of anxiety and depression which is deadly. Hence take a profti out when you can and tell yourself that you did a right thing. Then decide when to buy back and get into the market again. Recycling your money is important here.
5984  Economy / Economics / Re: Are Blockchain Projects in Northeast Asia can change the economy? on: August 16, 2019, 07:29:25 AM
It is a gradual process, there is nobody that is not flexible to changes, even the government also. Look at Facebook, who would have ever imagine that they could turn around and start supporting cryptocurrency.
Lets not even start to talk about FB. It the biggest cancer in the world today and most other social media, leaving out the IM applications though. Its owner knows that data is what needs to be collected and you can whiff away your privacy with being on FB. Kids everyday are uploading stuff they dont even know about and its harming them in more than ways they can know at this point of age. With crypto becoming their weapon they will try their methods to take over the market which is why I hope governments stop the development of its shitcoin.

This is not healthy growth in crypto. Multinational companies coming in only makes it worse.
5985  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to Identify Cryptocurrency Scams on: August 16, 2019, 07:26:26 AM
-snip-
Those two things are pretty basic. Since we have been here for quite some time, I would suggest those for the very much newbies and for the more advanced modes of scams that we see these days we cannot control without stopping investing in ICO/IEO and other such scams. I consider all of those as scams because nowadays dev teams force KYC on a previous done ICO in order to get all their details. This goes against the ideals of crypto and thus newbies must also know this.

I believe the boycott of investments in any altcoins based crypto project is the only way people can save their bitcoins from getting siphoned off. But then again a healthy investment is a good thing to participate in so it also takes away the whales who invest. But being diligent is what I would advice everyone.
5986  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: the difference in gifts now and in 2018 on: August 15, 2019, 06:02:25 AM
Yes,it does reduce fraud but we cant still assure that we wouldn't tie or experience with fraud projects or delay payment for bounties.
You are contradicting your own statement one with the other. If a project is a scam then the bounty payment is also a fraud and they are using the participant to get free advertisement. Nobody is going to get paid here except the scammers who set up the project.

Quote
It will vary on the team or person manage the bounty. If they decided to pay up then theres nothing you can do.
You are wrong. You have a voice here. What you can do is to boycott all altcoin based bounty campaign in the forum. Put an end to this shitshow once and for all. But I doubt if any of the hunters out here is actually going to read this.
5987  Economy / Lending / Re: Need a loan of $10,000 BTC I have $5k on: August 15, 2019, 05:59:43 AM
I need a loan of $10k and I'm willing to put $5,000 on the line as  to show you how serious about this I am.
You can run away with your newbie account and the rest 10k - 5k which makes it another 5k dollars. Whats the harm in that? Grin

Quote
I'll repay the loan with in a 7 day period and willing to provide more information  for peice of mind to the lender.
Try going to the bank and telling them this story and they will surely give you a nice "peice" on your bum for asking for a laughable tradeoff.

If you are serious about getting a loan you need to offer a bigger amount of valid collateral like shasan said.
5988  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will you buy lottery online in bitcoin payment? on: August 14, 2019, 07:20:15 AM
Yes because I want to experience an online loterry because l believe that i will become  a millionaire here.its easy to win the promising price When the price is increasing.
If you have a decent level of logic you would not quote this OP, on the contrary you did. Grin

The OP is shamelessly promoting this telegram channel. Join it at your own risk because these types dont end up well for anybody except the group owner who in a shady manner is going to scam all these members either immediately or later on. Playing your luck does not have any shortcut be it lottery or dice game. You wont become a millionaire but just buying some tickets. Get a job and work hard to earn a living and make a name for yourself.

If life was so easy then everyone would be buying lottery tickets all day. But that does not happen. So go figure. Cheesy
5989  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Keep proper distance but not losing passion on: August 14, 2019, 07:16:51 AM
Making profits is the ultimate goal of a trader it can happen in minutes or even years depends on many factors but how much we are trying to get into that place is important.First we need to manage our funds and need to minimise losses from trading then you can feel that you are here for some profit sooner or later.
The ultimate goal? More like the necessary goal. Although some people trade for a part time method or a side job of making a few bucks some do take it a real job and they are doing their own technical analysis being an investment banker. Although there will be bad losses and mistakes people do learn from them and make sure not to repeat them.

Managing funds is important but it is also important to take a break. Sometimes it all goes against you and you need to take a time out from trading and focus on other things before coming back. It is similar to a refreshment which is often productive.
5990  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: the difference in gifts now and in 2018 on: August 14, 2019, 07:12:10 AM
I believe that it is a common thing because there is no revenue in bitcoin market at the beginning of this year. Especially during the new year, settlement period.
There is a lot of revenue in the market but there are just worthless projects to invest in. Investors have lost faith in ICOs and the so called legalized STOs and then the IEOs. Thats just rebranding scams to new names to make them look legitimate. But it fools the newbies intp investing.
You are being a fool if you still participate in bounties instead of getting a real job.

in my opinion there is still fraud in the bounty program, because all ico or ieo are not necessarily successful, so we must choose the right prize program by looking at the concept and the team.  this year very much has paid for the bounty program than last year
Its always been a fraud. Very few times have I seen a bounty hunter be happy about their prizes, even if they know that it wont be the next bitcoin. That false belief makes you all think that doing this bounty would make you rich. No it wont, you are nothing but a pawn in the hands of the team who are using you to promote their scam shitcoins.
5991  Economy / Lending / Re: Need a loan of 0.03btc without collateral on: August 13, 2019, 12:11:51 PM
Hi

I need a loan of 0.03btc without collateral.  Anyone who can help please pm me.
You cant just come into this forum with a newbie account and ask a 300$ loan. Do you think about your actions before or after doing them? Maybe you need some moral value lessons but I will tell you this much that you are simply wasting your time here. Nobody will trust you with that amount of money unless you can provide something as a valid collateral.

If you would visit your nearest bank they would also ask for the same thing, in the form or a mortgage or pawning.
5992  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin Becoming More Available? on: August 13, 2019, 09:50:09 AM
I could not understand the news article posted properly but from what little I could make out, I think the OP is getting confused between what mining produces and what a person buys. Mining makes bitcoins available to everyone as soon as the miners sell them but a country may put a restriction of the trade of bitcoin in which case they are no longer available by legal means to that person. So if you forget about the government poking their nose in and enforcing KYC, then the availability depends on the dumping of the miners and traders.

More or less is a slightly relative term here.
5993  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Maximum bet amount on single bet! on: August 13, 2019, 09:45:22 AM
Some would do that but martingale is not advisable.
Sports betting is a pretty different type of gambling, it's won over a long period since we usually focus in one league for the entire season of betting, and that's why a decent bankroll is necessary.
See keeping an entire bankroll for one league is a decent choice. You are going to need the backup funds if you get a bet that needs you to arbitrage or to bring back you in the game after losing one bet. But managing each bet is a tough thing to do. You are not going to bet maximum on any of these bets unless its a sure win, in which case the odds would also become lower multipliers.

Quote
I can't deny I also do martingale, it's a bad strategy in general as it could kill your entire bankroll but when you carefully do the management, you can still end up using it positively that would generate your an income, for example, you martingale on your 3 bets, I think that is enough and it won't cost you a lot in case you will also end up to loss 3 consecutive times.
I think it is well know now that doing martingale or not doing it does not change anything. You are going to lose in the long run in any EV- game but for EV+ games I feel it can be applied as long as you stop after the last big bet.
5994  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Artificial Inteligence + blockchain = deadly combination? on: August 13, 2019, 09:42:03 AM
That is true. Attificial intelligence has endless possibilities and in combination with different sophisticated technologies it could really change the world we know it.
No. The world will remain as it is. What will change is how people use technology and what technology does to the world. Majority of things will remain same because at the back there is always a human coding the AI. Hence the power struggle hence the struggle to the monopoly of multi-national companies.

Quote
However, there are so many ethical and legal questions become if it's not used in right way it could have bad consequences instead of good ones. Anyway, this is the area we still need to work hard on.
I dont think blockchain is ever going to merge with AI for anything good. People make such claims are either imagining things too much which is common or they are just trying to make a point.

Either way it is will not happen now neither will it happen during out lifetime. So not something to worry about.
5995  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: the difference in gifts now and in 2018 on: August 12, 2019, 04:51:15 AM
look at the prize program now with last year do you feel a drastic difference and there is no fraud.
Wrong there. More frauds are happening lately in different manners that you cannot think of. Developers of projects are running away abandoning investors. They dont care about who promoted their project. In such sense they should not hold a bounty at all because they got the free advertising.

Quote
my question is whether many gifts now pay full
First thing first, I hate any type of shitcoin bounty be it the "next bitcoin" and so on. Those statements are all bullshit, I have been in the game long enough to know that.

It would be better if you take your participation to bitcoin paid campaigns. Boycott all altcoin bounties which end up up shadow-scamming its participants.
5996  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Did you ever won a huge amount on gambling? on: August 12, 2019, 03:53:23 AM
My biggest win a 200$ win on freebitco.in where you would get that lucky win by rolling a 10,000 from their faucet. It still exists and so does my thread about it here -
Got 200$ from Freebitcoin today morning, call that a BIG WIN

This was back in October of 2016 when bitcoin was around 700$. Yup I still own those coins.

Though I do tell people to visit the site I do not advocate you to bet too much because you will lose a lot and may not win like someone else did. Mine is just an example how I got lucky but you may not have that luck. So play wisely and dont rage or be greedy.
5997  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: mercatox.org Giveaway scam on: August 12, 2019, 03:47:38 AM
Only if people know how to use the search engine properly then I bet there will be no victim for obvious phishing schemes.
Lets say you are newbie in the crypto world. How on earth are you going to think about searching out a site when you receive an email in the morning telling you to login here because you got some free coins?

Basically this is what people fall for. Like I said, scammers blunt the logic out their victims using Greed, Fear or Doubt. Of which Greed is the most commonly used method. For most of us who are cunning enough and use the counter logic that nobody give out money for free would raise the suspicion that this may be a scam attempt - only then would they google about the site. Get my point?
5998  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin believers/investors are foolish or low IQ people ? on: August 12, 2019, 03:44:30 AM
I don't think that most of these investors are that foolish or low IQ, most of them are that intelligent that makes earning so easy using these crypto investments. Foolish or IQ people, I don't mind since there is a lot of other investors out there that will really surprise us an investor.
Think of it in a simple and logical manner. An investor would be not be a successful one if they are foolish enough and they end up putting their money into the wrong channels to play with. Heck anyone telling you that they play with their money is also a risk taker. So I feel everyone makes the mistake of referring to a risk taker to a foolish trader. Its not so because the terms are not mutually exclusive.

I think the more important thing here is to know what project you are putting your money in and then following the market to buy or sell.
5999  Economy / Lending / Re: 💰💰Forex Trader Looking for Capital 0.1 - 1+BTC💰💰 on: August 12, 2019, 03:39:26 AM
I'm a forex trading looking for additional capital to trade with.
So broke after doing forex that you went to your local bank and they gave a kick on your bum and you landed up here? Grin

Quote
- The loan will be for a full 30 days and at the end, you agree to pay me a % of the profit generated on the capital loaned to me. ( This % will be agreed upon before hand)
That is not a loan. That is a private deal at the most.

Quote
- The account will be the trading account will be created and funded by you, that way I never have access to the funds, which removes any perceivable risk that I might take your money.
So now we are moving from lending to forex financial advice? How many jobs do you do per day? Which is this site you talk about?
6000  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: FortuneJack Is Fraud on: August 12, 2019, 03:33:20 AM
I've had plenty of issues with FJ in the past and battling their army of shills makes getting the truth out there much more difficult.
This is not a battle and neither am I shilling even if you think so.

Notice how the OP has gone silent? I would have liked it if he followed up with proper proof of his claims how the site is a scam.

If the site would have scammed and there would be proof of it, the FJ campaign members would be the first to report this incident to the admins because we are in close connection on social media to the admins. That is if the OP had something to say. All I can see is a bet list.

This happens all the time.
No. Rather the opposite like I said above.

PS: I deleted my previous comment because someone said it was generic. If you believe me posts are offtopic or shitposts, please report them, since I appreciate someone judging my posts as that allows me to improve.
