It won't disappear. Now it is just to big to just make something diffrent than just getting well known around the world cause of popularity around internet.

bitonnect used to promise high interestrates and they said that their trading-bot would privde lots of revenue.. Besides of that bticonnect has no real use. It'snot like Ethereum or IOTA or so..Taking this into account it was just a matter of time for this currency to disappear again.

Community Update:

I wanted to update everyone since I know there are questions and lots of FUD.

Currently working on a Roadmap that will provide many of the details people are seeking regarding the project.  Both a web and mobile platform are part of the development plans.  This is obviously far ahead of coins in the fantasy sports industry.

We have been fully funded on Masternodes.pro for a few weeks and the owner of the website moved and has been updating the website as you can see with just a quick glance.
The price is something many have discussed.  As the developer, that is not something I really want to predict or discuss.  I would simply say that every time the price goes up or down is no need for panic.  Look at larger coins like Bitcoin, NEO, Ethereum, Litecoin OmiseGo, and Bitcoin Cash and there are very big swings in price.  A couple of the larger holders decide to sell of their coins as Bitcoin rose in price.  That accounts for a lot of the price reduction.

Panic shouldn't set in any time the price moves.  Clearly, an increase in volume and price will be beneficial to everyone, but we have to focus on development.  If you want to look at future price, I would say comparing us to similar coins in our industry as the potential price would be the updside I see for the project.

Another topic people have asked about is the referral program.  This will be an integral part of the strategy for the coin and platform.  Getting people invested in growing the user base and prize pools is really important and incentivizing them through the referral program is something all types of businesses online and offline do.

Many people have contacted us about buying or selling coins outside of Cryptopia to not affect price.  Anyone interested can contact me and will put you in touch with someone looking to buy or sell.  Its a better way for most to acquire larger amounts without having to buy up or sell down the book.

If you believe the concept, hard work and personal attention demonstrated through the swap and relaunch, and see the potential of the project, then I would look at a price drop as an opportunity to acquire more.  That's what professional traders do when panic sets in..they capitalize on the price drop and fears of others.

"scam coins" never last long. they will always die pretty soon. having a low market cap does not make them scam, it just makes them crappy coins like others.

the same thing is true about having a high market cap. that doesn't make a coin legit, it just means the high cap coin could fool more people into investing in it than the other coins ever could.

this is why you should seriously stop looking at the market capitalization of different coins. it is very misleading.

I suggested that other members of the community would be able to help, and it seems seraphiek took advantage of this trust by offering to help and therefore 'stealing'  your coins.
One question, how did he steal your coins? did you give him your private key? did you allow him control of your computer?
If you did any of the above, then that is how he 'hacked' you from your coins.
