Implement masternode-backed bounty system.
This implementation is intended to facilitate the future development of the Swipp cryptocurrency.
Masternodes will be in charge of creating new bounties and governing the bounty-fund which will be replenished using Swipp generated via newly created PoS and PoW blocks. Our initial plan is to allocate 5% of all the new currency generated on the network to the bounty-fund.
A web portal will be developed that will be hosted and synced between the masternodes, creating a fully decentralized system where users can create new bounties, apply for bounties and claim bounty rewards.
Implement masternode-hosted web wallet (with mobile support).
A completely decentralized wallet solution hosted by the masternodes of the Swipp network. After registering and creating a wallet, users will be able to deposit and withdraw funds directly via a web interface served by the masternodes.

A suggestion:
Many coins are suffering the same fate; after the dev's initial enthusiasm starts to wear off, the costs of developing and maintaining the coin wear them down until it's no longer appealing to spend their time and money on the coin which leads to stagnation. Several coins are trying to solve this after launch, i.e.: Neutron just updated their wallet and it incorporates a dev fee. Another coin which I can't remember is hard forking and as part of it, the block reward is increasing for the next 50,000 blocks with the increase going to the dev team to fund development.
I'd suggest that incorporating a dev fee may be something that Team Swipp might want to consider. Your continued enthusiasm to work on this coin and fund expenses is in everyone's interest and with governance and funding models being a large part in what made the major alt coins become major alt coins, I think it's worth considering.

Genuinely useful feedback will always be appreciated. The Swipp Team has done a lot so far, especially considering this coin was dead. The ideas they're looking to implement are good in that they aren't standard features from an existing high market cap alt-coin that they can simply clone. There are no shortage of clone coins appearing daily with no intention from the developer except to pump and dump. With what the Swipp team has done so far, they are deserving of as much time as they need to bring about the vision they have for Swipp which got them excited in the first place to revive this coin.

You are a passionate and hardworking team but time is running and many others coins are surfacing as well. I am surprised that just a 6 days old coin is trading at 0.00067 BTC and also listed at Cryptopia, its also a X11 Coin (PoW/PoS like SWIPP)
You guys need to speed up things and create activity in discord channel, also it is must to go to a reputable exchange asap.

Are you contributing to the development of the coin? i am not the coin dev I think @canonical's point is that everybody can join in developing Swipp  ... Eveyrbody can join the team, submit pull requests and contribute. We want this to be a community effort. In the long run, this is the only way for a cryptocurrency to truly succeed and be immortal. We don't consider it to be our coin. We are only the caretakers of the code base. More developers will surely jump in on the boat down the road. Yours, team swipp Oh yes, i am participating in development of this coin by having my huge investment in holding the coins and thats without getting any interest  Between, i am not a developer but if you would like to teach i can try  @canolical: whats your contribution to this coin? My point is that if you're not happy with progress, either help out actively with development of the coin or accept that you're just along for the ride. Comment, critique, make suggestions,.. these are all fine, but don't think that you can sit in the cheap seats and give orders to the people that are actually doing the work. |

Ah. From your previous message it sounded like you abandoning PoW master mode rewards and keeping it at just 40% of PoS, hehe my confusion and I think the confusion of done others that commented.

We will not change the reward structure - we feel that the miner/staker doing the actual work should get a majority of the return.

Don't change the reward but explain this. Miner = the one who mines , deserves the reward - goodStaker = just keeps money in wallet and stake- gets interestMasternode = Run a VPS and also submit a collateral as security ensuring that it keep running the VPS to serve as a node to service the network. = How come its not doing the actual work?I really need to understand this, so please explain. And as always, looking forward to witness swipp become a big coin and get listed on a new exchange asap. Thanks. It's a strange situation. I think that masternodes is more important part of network then proofing mechanism. At least both equal and must get comparable rewards. +1. I also think it's strange that masternodes are getting a minority of the PoS reward. Running a masternode is a level of dedication above that of staking. What is the incentive and benefit then of locking up your 30k of coins? Since no one is using SWP as a means of transferring value, it makes sense that miners get a bigger reward than masternode holders, but having masternode holders below stakers is strange. |

Today, I send my SWIPP coin to the wrong Wallet (SWEEP wallet in stead of SWIPP wallet in coinmarkets). So how can i get back my SWIPP coin? Please help me  Hi. Usually, this is not possible... I like the function at Bitshares DEX where it tells you whether an address (nickname) exists or not before you send your BTS. Could something like that be implemented in any crypto or would that also open the door for new privacy risks? Hi. I don't see any issues with privacy personally. Any block explorer already enables you to check if an address exists or not. This might actually be a nice feature to add to the wallet. We could add a notification if the user enters an address that is not yet in the block chain. While we are at it, another useful notification would be to inform whenever a new version of the wallet is available. All this would require us to query swippcoin.com for information, which kind of goes against the decentralized nature of Swipp. However, if we add a setting to disable swippcoin.com services in the preferences, it might still be ok. where can find masternode setup guide?
Hi. Currently there is none... The setup is identical to other masternode coins minus sentinel and the fact that you deposit 30 000 swipp. There are setup gudes all over the Internet, so you should be able to find something that works for you. I dont think there is much difference. PM me or teamswipp if you have issues... Or maybe even bitnod .. Somebody will be able to guide you through it. Is the SWP team sure that cold masternodes are possible? I still can't work out how to create one if the coin doesn't implement a masternode.conf file. |

Meanwhile, the increase in collateral for master nodes had the desired effect - there are only 17 master nodes on the network currently.
It will be interesting to see if this changes when masternodes start getting rewards from PoW blocks. 17 might be artificially low because, with rewards coming from PoS only, it's more beneficial right now to stake your coins than run a masternode. |

Good to see my masternode is generating now, but reward is 0 "category" : "generate",

"confirmations" : 173, On the other hand, I've gotten a similarly unhelpful response from CoinsMarkets for my deposit that hasn't shown up. If this doesn't get resolved then I've lost a good chunk of SWP.  The coins were sent from a fresh wallet which had just been synced with a blockchain. I don't think it's a problem anyway as I have also today transfered coins from completely fresh blockchain to an existing one with just the daemon updated and that worked fine. |

Also, we are yet to see a payout to a MN from PoW blocks - so maybe we screwed something up there... We will monitor the situation and modify as needed when we have looked into it.

Hello everybody.
A new wallet 2.0.2 is now available at our GitHub account under the following repository;
https://github.com/teamswipp/swippcore
2.0.2 fixes the issues from 2.0.1 with the chain being stuck on an empty wallet.
After block 93 000, old wallets and clients will no longer be able to connect to the network.
Report any issues via PM - this makes things easier most of the time (we also get a notification).
Windows binaries and better build instructions will be posted during the day. Website will be updated as well.
