61  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Not all projects are bad on: March 04, 2020, 07:02:03 AM
If you are a developer and you develop a new project and build a good team and after several months of promoting the project you don't met your expectations yet you never give up won't others say bad thing about the project and the teams? This is happening with few good projects in crypto space but many failed to understand, they want their half cake quickly e.g bounty hunters, to say the truth it's not easy to be a developer, not all projects that failed are bad, they might not just meet their expectations
Being a developer of a coin is hard since you will be having a hard time to produce a quality coin and be able to control the volume and the price of it. We just need to analyze every projects that we are going to invest to so that you will be able to avoid the failed projects of it.
62  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptocurrency can not replace fiat currency. on: March 04, 2020, 06:07:48 AM
It will be hard for us if we use our cryptocurrency as our standard currency, the volatile currency will not be useful in real life; only that money is only suitable in real life. Not all individuals are really used in technology, so how could they handle their money if they are not familiar with the technology.
This is also my reason that is why Cryptocurrency is impossible to become our fiat currency. The combination of the two is still better rather than just a crypto by itself. The transaction using crypto needs internet and cannot stand alone by itself unlike transacting using fiat. No need internet and capable of transacting whenever they want.
63  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Protect your cryptocurrency, only means, protect your account. on: March 03, 2020, 03:24:01 AM
Two Factor Authentication or 2FA is a very useful feature of the cryptocurrency wallet. You must consider this one first in choosing your wallet since this is the better way to secure your cryptocurrency. Hackers will be having a hard time to hack your wallet since you have 2FA security activated into it.
64  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Eth Price faces further decrease on: March 01, 2020, 10:54:48 AM
on Ethereum, i don't think the coin is coming back anytime soon as it faces further decreases in the price, as at today the price is 187USD, this coin has been struggling to climb up to it's formal state, i still hope the price hits 500USD or more by the end of the year.

This is gonna be hard for the Ethereum to recover because it dumps a huge amount rather than before. But, one thing is for sure, Ethereum will rise up again since halving is about to happen. It will for surely gonna affect the current price of it when halving take effect. That is the time when the price of it will rise up and recover after the dump.
65  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can ETH reach $5k in this up cycle ? on: March 01, 2020, 09:05:45 AM
What do you guys think ? I discuss some reasons why it might here : https://youtu.be/8Rg-CM2s7Q0
I dont think ethereum will rich that kind of price. It really depends on the supply and demand of the consumer. There is a possibility for it to rise up like that. If the bitcoin halving happens and the effect of it happens, there is a chance that almost all of the altcoins out there will rise its price again.
66  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Please help! Is this scam or not? on: March 01, 2020, 04:40:03 AM
Hi All, a friend send me a message with info about a new token name NLC (Night Light Coin) with domain nlccoin.com
But the condition to receive the token airdrop is have to transfer ETH to this address: 0x36afEe66EA8d6a99A9c6c7e676D512eA4A19bC83
I'm not sure if this project is real or from any scammer to cheat everyone. Please give me some advice
Thank you
What do you mean? You need to send eth before they give you the airdrop? This is a scam for sure. Airdrop are suppose to be free. If they ask something as an exchange for it, this is completely a scam. Do not just give your ETH address to this kind of stuff because there is also a possibility that they can hack you.
67  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I am fed up with scammers and newbies. on: February 29, 2020, 06:30:37 PM
Last week, I found an airdrop project in Telegram called Marco Protocol, the airdrop looked decent at the first stage, I earned 200 MAPC tokens and that was instant! But you only can withdraw from your MAP wallet when Airdrop program will end, that's good, I am okay with it. Their airdrop tweet got 8K retweet and 9K likes, so, you can understand how hype it had!
But yesterday, they announced they are going to sell Bitcoin at a 50% discount to celebrate the halving. Can you imagine? 1 Bitcoin price is 8600 USD, people can buy by 4300$! I believe This is absolutely scam but many newbies already have fallen for that! As they saw MAPC has huge support in twitter, and they listed on CMC too.

50% off announcement: https://t.me/MAP_POB_channel/87
9k likes and 8k retweets can be generated easily. So you must not believe this kind of thing. Always check the information of the airdrop manager if he or she is a legitimate or not. You can basically tell it depends on their background. Analyze every situation before doing such things like this one. Be careful because there are a lot of scammers as of now.
68  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Ways in which you can promote bitcoin. on: February 29, 2020, 12:36:47 PM
There are many ways to promote bitcoin. You can watch this video (https://youtu.be/qzwf1AQxqM0) of mine to learn more on several ways in which you can contribute to the promotion of bitcoin. I hope the video is helpful because making it was like building Rome (Rome was not built in a day).😁😁
I'll be very grateful if you can list more ways so we all can have something we can do to support the growth of bitcoin. Thanks a lot for promoting bitcoin. Yea, that reminds me; you can make bitcoin arts too and publicise them.
You don't actually need a video presentation to be able to promote the usage of bitcoin. With just a simple way you can actually endorse it to other people like posting in this kind of forum or trying to talk about in with your friends. In that way, they will realize that the usage of it is good for the economy of our government and other country.
69  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Celebrities advertise scam ICO again on: February 29, 2020, 03:07:36 AM
SEC fined Steven Seagal for advertising ICO. The actor did not disclose information about the funds received for the promotion of the project, which could mislead investors, the Commission explained.

Since the ICO, the price of the Bitcoiin2Gen token advertised by Segal has fallen by 99%.

do you think celebrities know that they advertise scam projects or they just don’t understand what they are doing? I think this is a big problem for the market

They for surely do not know what they are advertising. Just like those people who advertise a trading application in youtube. They are just up onto the money of the application that they are going to advertise but didn't think of those people who will avail or use that application. They must be well informed in that kind of ICO first before advertising it.
70  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: One Altcoin to invest on: February 28, 2020, 10:23:01 AM
0.2 BTC in hand.. One Altcoin to invest? Please share your thoughts.
I would probably go to ETH. I just feel like ETH will surprise us for its next price. Plus the fact that its price will be affected by the halving. It will be for surely gonna be a game changer to the crypto market. Its price might be tripled or doubled by the time that the halving takes effect. So we must wait what will happen to its price in the future.
71  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin & Its Momentum on: February 28, 2020, 08:40:50 AM
As it stands, Bitcoin along with many other Digital Currencies have been on a Rampage recently. Some achieving all new highs while BTC is sitting on top of 9k+ usd. Only question that comes to mind now is what next? Will it have enough momentum to break thru to the 10k usd mark or will we see a major price correction? As usual any thoughts and comments are more than welcome.
It will for surely gonna go up sooner or later because everyone will be hype up to the halving event. It will make the investors to invest into bitcoin much more because they know that sooner or later it will become profitable. They are investing in bitcoin because after halving, there is a possibility that the value of it will be higher than they expect.
72  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why are altcoins so fragile compared to Bitcoin? on: February 28, 2020, 06:45:34 AM
Hi friends:
What is the reason for the large fluctuations of altcoins in your view? Why are altcoins so fragile compared to Bitcoin and fluctuating with the smallest news? Of course, I mean the altcoins that have good ideas, professional support,... not the shitcoins.

Altcoins are much more fragile than bitcoin because it has a less supporters than Bitcoin. Also, altcoin is having a hard time to recover after a dump unlike bitcoin that can easily recover because of its supporters. Altcoin supporters after a dump is scared and does not want to invest into it anymore that is why it takes time for it to recover.
73  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Safe Campaigns in the Altcoin sections to join. Dont waste your time with others on: February 28, 2020, 03:05:59 AM
Good campaign may, i myself missed them when they started, i hope i still can get in during the last weeks of those that are still running.
Big thanks from me buddy, great post.
People as of now do not trust any bounty campaigns since most of them are scam. They support those weekly campaign since you will be able to know as soon as possible if that campaign is going to give you your salary or not. For me weekly campaign is better and much more secured than bounty campaigns out there.
74  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Buying low selling high ain't always successful on: February 27, 2020, 10:58:15 AM
Buying the dip has its bad side and that's unable to predict market movement You buy the dip, it goes dipper. You buy the high, it goes dipper, you convert to usdt, it starts surging ....I quit buying low selling high for now
If you are going to do the buy low and sell high principle, I would suggest that you better do it on the coins that is one the rankings since those coins has the ability to rise up or cope up after the price drop of it. Unlike those coin that is not on the rank, they will have a hard time to do an comeback since they do not have that much supporters.
75  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do people compare betting and investing in bitcoin (in terms of risk)? on: February 27, 2020, 06:39:22 AM
If we are going to talk about it in terms of risk, it is almost the same since you are putting your money in risk. Investing is full of risk since you do not know what will happen to your money whether it goes up or down. This is not really the same but people is talking about it in terms of risk only. Do not take it as it is and full understand it first.
76  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't just hold your altcoins for a long time! on: February 25, 2020, 09:18:04 AM
Of course knowing the update of the coin is very important for holders of long-term investments. I experience the same thing when I don't swap coins that I hold. and finally the coins I could not use. Following the project update is strongly recommended for holders.
Telegram groups will definitely help you to gather some information on what is happening on the coin that you are currently holding as of now. So, you better not to leave them since you will be notified if the coin that you have is rising up or has already a value and ready for selling. Do not just dump your coin and make sure that you sell it when the right time comes.
77  Economy / Speculation / Re: The bitcoin halving to increase cryptocurrencies prices. on: February 25, 2020, 02:27:38 AM
Grin I am just so happy because the bitcoin halving it near again. It could be on May 14. But if not on May 14 it is certain that bitcoin will halve before May 18, 2020.

I am sure that the halving will increase price because:

1. People already anticipating for it and they are ready to invest before the halving time.

2. Bitcoin reward will halve from 12.5 to 6.25. This will cut the supply.

The supply will reduce because of bitcoin halving and the demand will increase because of people that will buy because of anticipation.

Let us expect bitcoin to surely still future increase in price this year.

The supply creation of bitcoin will for surely gonna go down that will result to the sudden rise up of its price. It is simply the rule of supply and demand. Once the supply is higher than the demand, the price will for surely gonna go down. But if the demand is higher than the supply, the price of it is gonna be high. This will for surely gonna happen to bitcoin halving.
78  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stable coin for Every Currency on: February 24, 2020, 06:45:00 AM
Is it possible that if cryptocurrency gets accepted all over the country, tether or any other stable coin will start creating stable coin for all the currency available in the world? I think they will go for that and create money out of thin air. What do you think?Or govt themselves will create their own currency at the end?
PS- Self-moderated thread to prevent spam.
Of course it is possible for the cryptocurrency to be accepted by every other countries. But I do not think that it will become stable since we all know that cryptocurrency has its volatile characteristic meaning it will continuously move depending on the supply of the coin and the demand of the consumer. But of course it is possible. I am just wondering how it will be implemented. Maybe, they can create a global coin that can be used by every other countries in terms of their transaction.
79  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A game that educates people about Bitcoin on: February 23, 2020, 03:56:51 PM
I don't think games are a good tool for educating adults about new concepts, they are time-consuming and distracting. You could use them to teach kids, but why would you want to teach kids about Bitcoin in the first place, it's not like they will be using it till they grow up.

Adults play games to relax and have fun, and educational games generally have poor gameplay, so I can't imagine such game being popular.
Games is a good way to educate other people. They are having fun while learning how bitcoin really works. They would fully understand what bitcoin can do if they are enjoying studying about it. Plain text information is much more boring than playing a game while learning so, I do not think that this one is a bad idea at all.
80  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Too scared to go for altcoins? on: February 23, 2020, 10:40:08 AM
I think the coins you mentioned above have not been able to defeat Bitcoin and will never be able to because they are all created from HF Bitcoin, but to buy at the current price is very good and just waiting for halving to occur and get profits
The support of all the other people to the bitcoin is really amazing that makes it really unbeatable by any other coins out there. Altcoins are having a hard time to recover when the their prices suddenly drops. Unlike bitcoin that has the ability to recover faster than any other coin because of the support of its investors.
