Eth Price faces further decrease

on Ethereum, i don't think the coin is coming back anytime soon as it faces further decreases in the price, as at today the price is 187USD, this coin has been struggling to climb up to it's formal state, i still hope the price hits 500USD or more by the end of the year.

The ETH was primarily betting on the ICO/smart contracting business to drive the demand in the market. It actually resulted a huge pricing push back in 2017 along with the push given by bitcoin pricing surge. The ICO market is dead now and IEOs have taken over but the volume is quite less compared to 2017.

In 2017 we have seen thousands of ICOs in the market struggling to get prominence. In 2018 it decreased by half and 1/4th in 2019. The demand for ETH is certainly decreasing gradually which actually hit them hard.

Also the presence of competitors made the situation worse. Earlier ETH was the pioneer in the smart contracting field but now we have many options like NEM, EOS, Steller, Cardano etc. Which certainly decrease the demand further.

There are other reasons as well but I believe these abive listed reasons are the major ones for ETH decline. I frankly do not see the situation changing on its own unless we have a stimulus.

In the near future, we will see ETH for 177 dollars. well, by the end of the year I’m waiting for at least 500 dollars and I think that this will happen because I expect a general market rise

Very close for that dump price, I'm also hoping for a higher price at the last quarter of 2019. The price are very unstable and can't keep my eyes off the market, I hold ETH because I know it will be a good coin until the end of 2019 and I hope it will disappoint me, let's keep trusting the process of ETH and the future development, I know this is not the end of ETH it will go for more.

It is quite difficult for ETH to return again, but it does not rule out the possibility that it will return. If we look at the end of 2017, ETH can rise very rapidly in 2 months because BTC has a big pump. Now we only need a big bitcoin pump to return price ETH, that's the only hope if ICO & IEO are no longer reliable.

ethereum's popularity is down and the market is starting to enter the bear market. this is the main reason ethereum prices have weakened. I think it will take a long time, even longer than the end of the year, for ethereum to return to normal conditions.

Unless we see a price movement similar to 2017 (last time we saw ETH @ $500 was during the BTC bull run in December 2017), then it's very unlikely that we'll see such prices at the end of the year. It could happen, but don't hold your breath.

Btw, the title of this topic may look a bit alarming to some people, but honestly, ETH has been going up and down as usual (0.02 sats last week, then a dip to 0.017, then back up again to 0.02, and now another drop), pretty normal behaviour if you ask me, right now the price going back to last week levels so nothing to worry about. Smart thing to do is to monitor the price and buy cheap if it keeps going down, you could make some decent short-term profits with those swings in price.

Right now, what happened to ETH happened to every other coin as well, including Bitcoin. The price of ETH is moving according to the movement of the entire cryptocurrency market. If you take a look at the charts, ETH is not a special case. If you say that ETH has fallen down to $187, Bitcoin has also fallen to $9,980, BCH to $295, LTC to $70, BNB to $26, etc. The point here is that the drop of ETH price is not an isolated case. The market is bleeding and so it is very natural that coins are in red.

If you want to make money, don't stay away from the blood. Buy them, make the best of swings. Invest when the prices are cheap.

ETH price is at its worse right now because it's having a hard time to overcome the $200 dollars wall. lately, it reached the expectation of many investors when it finally gets to $300+ finally in the long months of drought.

But judging with its price right now the $500 mark is in jeopardy because there is no sign of going to 300$ again from this market.

Nope, Bitcoin is.
We are getting near to the bottom once people lose their faith on it and keeps calling it and other cryptocurrencies as a scam. Like we used to see in 2015~2016.
a few months ago, ETH could hit $100 or sub $100. Does not that mean it has a possibility to reach it again? the price keeps going down as long as Bitcoin keeps moving down too, just look at it today. Unless Bitcoin moves up and stabilizes its price in around $13.000 if not ETH will not see the pump again.

I see the decline in prices that happened today not only happened to Ethereum, other coins in the Market also declined.  Maybe this is the right time to increase investment, but if we do not have the money to increase investment, we must be patient to wait for coin prices to rise again.  And Ethereum prices can reach $ 500 or more.

The ethereum price hard to increase and I think it really takes times to recover. The uncertainty in ethereum market faces this year if this could recover by end of this year. Well, I am still into holding on eth.

Ethereum has not been doing very well after testing above $300 in June. $500 has become so very hard to get close to but I and thinking that bitcoin will get bullish soon and it might draw ethereum along. Most of this popular coins(ethereum, litecoin, bitcoin cash, and ripple) don't have that capacity to grow on there own but there all depends on what happened to bitcoin for them to grow. As bitcoin is falling right now we should expect the same thing to happen to there and in December when Bitcoin began to grow there may cross $500 for the first time this year.
