61  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cannabis Coin status and future on: June 02, 2019, 04:53:59 PM
Cannabis coin had a buzz in the past but now it's losing it's community, it's price and it's miners.
It had an objective to become the preffered coin for cannabis trade but it seems like people feels it easier to trade it with fiat or popular crypto rather than an unkown crypto with the name cannabis.
62  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why are you selling your altcoins so soon? on: June 02, 2019, 04:50:27 PM
Selling and buying should be done with plans and strategy but not with emotion or based on others opinion.
If you planned where and when to enter, when to sell what amount and what to hold, you'll be sucessful but you should not panic on loss or get over excited on a price hike.
If you get stuck with your rule, you'll never regrate.
63  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket World Cup 2019 Prediction Pool [Join FREE win x BTC] on: June 02, 2019, 04:36:10 PM
It's getting much more exciting now. 103 runs required from 60 balls with 5 wicket remaining. It's all how well the bowlers can bowl and high tight the outfield can field.
If bangladesh is sucessful in keeping South Africa from taking runs, they'll surely win it here from now.
64  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will I get LAMBO for investing in the Reverse Bitcoin Hardfork (RBH)? on: June 02, 2019, 03:47:14 PM
If it's already an established platform, why would they be forking bitcoin? I had never heard about goldcoin unless they coined a stupid term called Reverse Bitcoin Hardfork. They just want to attract attention towards their shitty coin. And for that they need the name of bitcoin. Bit is more popular than gold.
65  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin appears on Excel, Microsoft implicitly admits Bitcoin is currency? on: June 02, 2019, 03:11:00 PM
Bitcoin finally set foot on the mainstream, in the form of a currency option in Microsoft Excel.
There are a number of barriers one has to overcome to become a real trend. And Bitcoin has overcome this challenge during the past 10 years. Finally, Microsoft added this crypto currency to its system, in the form of a currency option in Excel office software.
Microsoft has long placed great emphasis on the pre-coding market. The world's leading software group has announced it will implement an ambitious strategy, directly cooperating with prominent Blockchain projects such as Ethereum, R3, AntShares, ...

What do you think? We discuss this together

Any size, this is a good news for bitcoin but Bitcoin has got much more popularity from every other forms that almost all of the world now knows about it. Mostly, thanks to the negative news and reviews. But now what we need is using bitcoin. And it would be faciliated if large merchants like microsoft starts accepting it as payment.
66  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Atlantis hardfork of ETC delayed on: May 31, 2019, 02:16:35 AM
ETC wanted to copy it's mother (or daughter) ETH by integrating EIPs in the blockchain of ETC but the couldn't get a consensus among it's developers.
EIP, originally conceived by Vitalik Buterin is an important security feature for smart contracts.
With this lack of consensus among the developers of ETC, where would ETC be heading? Are they just not trying to copy ETH and making themselves worse?
67  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Number of STOs May Double While IEOs Will Almost Triple By Q4 2019 on: May 31, 2019, 02:09:44 AM
IEO and STO are basically the same. It's just an evolved ICO. There were many STO in the past, just the word wasn't coined at that time.
But this time the failure of IEO may also lead to the failure of an exchange. So its really a difficult job for established exchanges to choose the best candidate that would be able to keep up the name of the exchange.
68  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to Protect yourself from Excitement and keep your Winnings Safe on: May 31, 2019, 02:06:39 AM
It's all numbers when you are in excitement. When people keep on losing or wining, they stop converting the price of bitcoin into cash. And they lose more than they could afford. One of my friend lost a year of his salary in bitcoin in a day because he was frustrated of his loss and wanted to win it all back.
69  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket World Cup 2019 Prediction Pool [Join FREE win x BTC] on: May 30, 2019, 04:04:04 PM
Glad to see the home team achieving a win by large margin on the first game of the tournament. England has been a good but unlucky team in almost all world cups. Hope they would be able to reach finals and lift the trophy on their home ground. South Africa too is a good team but both of their bowling and batting failed against england.
70  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you determine potentiality of any Altcoins? on: May 30, 2019, 03:58:31 PM
It's mostly hit and trial but following crypto news may give you some early insight for upcoming events that may lead to rise or fall of price of a coin. If you are early to pick them up, you could have a profit from coming herd of buy or sell.
71  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What messenger do you use to chat with your crypto gambling buddies? on: May 30, 2019, 03:56:07 PM
Weirdly enough, we mostly chat through Gmail.
Most of us are office workers and many of our office blocks social networks. That leaves us with fewer options.
As Gmail is preferred email service for individuals, it's kept open for private use. So we chat with the hangout within the mail website and share any long text or attachments through email.
72  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: DOGE COIN is it worth investing in it or should i look for another ALT coin? on: May 30, 2019, 03:51:50 PM
Dogecoin is a cute coin famously used for tipping other users. It is intentionally maintained at a low price to make it easily accessible and keep a flat 1 doge fees. This makes dogecoin a good coin to make inter exchange transfer and a good token for gambling.
73  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Another Satoshi filed claim for Bitcoin Whitepaper on: May 30, 2019, 03:46:47 PM
This isn't new. It's only become big in the media recently because famous liar, scammer and all round fraud CSW has done it. Here's the record of someone called Ronald Keala KuaMaria, who registered copyright for the bitcoin whitepaper and claimed the pseudonym "Satoshi" 3 years ago:

So, Craig was not the number 1.
So it proves it all was a strategy to pump the fake Bitcoin SV coin. Though Mr. Craig was successful to some extent. He has destroyed his name forever. People used to consider him a fool and now they'd know him better as a liar.
74  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When Do you realize a Crypto project is scam or Fraud? on: May 28, 2019, 11:49:30 PM
For me every crypto project is a scam unless I find a solid proof of experienced and well know people and companies are working behind it.
ICOs from well established companies, startup of popular persons and individuals with proper experience makes a good crypto project.
75  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: May 26, 2019, 04:19:13 PM
Sad to see the warmup between Pakistan and Bangladesh being cancelled. I really wanted to see how the two teams performed specially pakistan.
This worldcup would still be difficult to predict as no team are perfect at the moment. All of them are experimenting something new.

77  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cannabis Coin status and future on: May 26, 2019, 09:57:54 AM
I have been mining Cannabiscoin lately. The coin has been around for 4 years or so, but they are being delisted because they found vulnerabilities in the blockchain .

They are working on integrating to a better platform .  They are considering Komodo or Waves platform .   Does this process take a long time ?

For some reason , the price of the coin has been rising .  I thought it would keep dropping because its being desisted.  Any thoughts ?

I think it'd be better to sell the coin and wait and see the price movements. Cannabis coin was quite popular as one of the first coin for cannabis industry but they were not able to maintain the hype. And the so called shift could be just a news to keep miners occupied and could take years before coming true. You could just sell it and watch the progress and buy again in favourable time.
78  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Any promising STO that you know of? on: May 26, 2019, 09:24:48 AM
STO's seems like the future of earning. You become the share holder of the company and the profit of your company comes to you.
But there are very less of them and the available ones are also too cryptic about their operation.
I've found an STO that promises a minimum 4% per annum and a maximum of 8% per annum but that's still lower than a bank's fixed deposit in my country. Do any of you know a better STO?
79  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Who are the strong candidates who will get this year's Ballon D'or trophy? on: May 26, 2019, 06:09:17 AM
I don't have any vision about who will get the Ballon d'Or trophy because I don't watch every game or follow the news about them or each of them.
Maybe Lionel Messi could be the winner as many people have bets for him.
But whoever the winner, he deserves to be the winner because he gives the best thing in the match.

I think voter fatigue is starting to become an issue, they don't want Ronaldo and Messi to win it every year because it gets boring.  That is what happened to Michael Jordan, voters gave it to him too many times and ended up awarding MVP to Karl Malone one year.

Messi and Ronaldo both had a less successful season this year. There were much more influencive players that took much larger media and public attention. Messi and Ronaldo were not able to make their team win any major trophy except the leagues.
80  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: can someone explain to me the motive behind airdrops? on: May 26, 2019, 01:32:08 AM
I'm still wondering why developers will organize airdrops and distribute an amount of tokens which is far lesser than the minimum amount of the tokens that can be deposited on an exchange for trading. If you don't want the users to cash out the money, why do you let them waste their time?

Airdrops are a way to increase buzz around a project. Airdropped users are a cheap mouth to mouth advertisements. They act as unofficial ambassador to the project and are involved in the community as a part of it. It also provides the sense of decentralization though they are 99% centralized on holding.
