Many community members have been claiming lately that altcoins are going to die or at least that 90% of altcoins are doomed. I tend to agree with them that there are many coins and tokens that are pointless and won't survive. Another cathegory are alts with solid foundations but won't manage to fight with their competitors as naturally there are numerous projects with same visions. But if you trust the project you invested in, there is no reason to change your mind just because someone says many altcoins won't succeed. Do your research and trust only your own judgement, because many ALTCOINS ARE HERE TO STAY!
Each one of us has a different perception and if somebody says that altcoin will be going to die then, its up to them, but for me, I will continue to pursue my goals here crypto, until the last breath breath of this forum. But i strongly believe that it won't be happened, since theres a big speculation that crypto might be a next currency to be used in whole wide world. |

Base on what I observed, since market turns red and I think this the best way to invest in altcoins because I’am positive enough it will go up sooner when bullrun hits the mark this bear months. Do you also plan to HODL coins for so long? Your ideas are pleasurably accepted and do you agree to invest now or maybe later?
why don't you invest now, if you have enough founds to invest in such an altcoins. But make sure you have a better analysis to invest with an altcoins because theres some altcoins has bad fluctuated on its market. Invest like etherium, litecoin, bitcoin cash and those in, in top 10 altcoins. |

For what is happening now into Bitcoin I think, I think it is being controlled or it was being manipulated by the whale investors. So that the community traders in this business will get panic where it leads most of them to sell their coins. But for those who are really a fanatic for bitcoin for sure they will still hold on unto it until the bull run comes up. so be patience and do not loose hope that's the only thing we can do for now. For those who perform panic selling, I guess they're obviously a still a newbie which means lack of experience about investing in crypto, especially in bitcoin technology. As simple as we want to be, ofcourse a huge profits, so better to hold in long time to achieve these goals that we wanted to be, in our Investment in crypto. |

From what I have seen so far in this forum and other crypto platforms, most of us want fiat eliminated. But let us not forget that there are still situations whereby we can't use crypto except fiat like in rural places without computers or even internet facilities.
In my own opinion, government will not eliminate cryptocurrency immediately since there are a lot of people today in the market who are investing cryptocurrency and that is the reason why it will be very useful for different people to have more income monthly but fiat will still be very important for different people. It will never be happened, since there are still 3rd world country's which means not yet using internet technolgy where as they are still using traditional transaction through fiat. And I guess, the crypto will be evolved, but not totally being the main currency in the future, it will still an alts, and more be countries will be using it. |

Dear bitcoin community,
I recently started researching in altcoin and I tried to figure out which other altcoin is more used in sending money online (I think a traded currency shows that the currency will resist in the future and will grow) and I came to the conclusion that Monero is that coin.
Why Monero? I think it's pretty simple, Monero because I saw that everyone from the dark web asks for payments in Monero, and this leads me to think that Monero would be a good investment now because from what I understand, even Bitcoin has first massively traded on the dark web, and Monero came as a more anonymous alternative to the dark web and so it replaced the bitcoin there.
So, as the title of this thread says: Is Monero a Good Investment?
I have presented my theory, but what do you think?
Please expose your opinion to help me in making the final decision whether to invest my money in Monero or not.

In our local exchange theres only bitcoin and etherium were only to be tradable, but by the time passed by, I didn't notice that there were xmr and litecoin after I updated our local exchange. So, I guess Monero is quite good altcoins since it was already include in our exchange which is too choosy by picking up some good altcoins like etherium. |

Trezor is the first preference for holding the bitcoin and many other coins. you can keep safe trezor wallet key at your place and also recover the wallet after the lost of trezor. And offline wallet is the second option for safe the bitcoin, in this case you have to save the wallet file at the safe place, other wise you will loss your bitcoin.
I have a hardware wallet right now eith Ledger Nano. Its fime and I like it. Sleek design, but I want to own a Trezor too.  The more wallet I think is a good strategy and you can spread your crypto assets. Hardware wallet is a must for long term holder. Metamask is a good one for tokens and Ethereum. Yeah, you're right mate, hard wallet is must for the prevention of those scammers around and you should keep in safety place your private key and store it that you will never be forget because this is the most cases why some peile lost their bitcoin because of their clumsy the way they store their p.key. |

In most convenient way is airdrops because you were just received free token after you fill out the form well that required in a ICO projects, but you cannot sure if all token that you eceived has a value and already can be traded in a exchange, in short Its justca waste of time. A lot of scams have caused the fear of theft among people and they are regarding bitcoin and its trading a scam. People seem to be reluctant towards investing in bitcoins. How do we ensure them that bitcoins are not scam but the people are.  How can we tell them that bitcoin is a currency when the truth is we as cryptonians dont use it as what must it be?were keep on saying that this is a currency but we never use this to transact fot goods or even services instead we only uses this for trading and nothing else,before we tell people what is cryptocurrency we must let them see how we use it and whats the real function of this Yeah, but due to some people lack of knowledge about cryptocurrency, especially in bitcoin and hesitate of bitcoin system due to some spreading fraud news in social media, its really hard to explain how bitcoin works as a an alternative currency. Most airdrops are junk and worthless. This is not a new strategy
It is really the fact that many of those are worthless and totally the waste of time if you become part of all the airdrops. Choose only few based on your idea and researching which can be real and will be still existing after 1 years of time. So be wise and chose the right. On my opinion, I would say yes but not totally. Each of us have different perceptions as we adjust the situation here in the world of crypto currency. I believe that it will recover soon though we don't have any idea when since the market is in chaos. Hopefully in the future that each and everyone of us will have a great profit as we try our luck here. But almost totally (lol), I guess Its a right of we bounty hunters either dump or hold our token that we had earn from any bounties. Many ICOs have their token sold at a fixed price vs. the ETH. For example: 1 ETH = 1000 Tokens.
So does it really matter if the prices of ETH/BTC is dropping?
If anything, then buying now you get more Tokens for the $, right?
Actually investing in an ICO is really good especially if it the ICO hits quickly the hard cap. For me my strategy is when the token is available in the market I will sell them all and buy back at lower price because most of the time I joined an ICO I always got behind the time because I hold the token first until the price is so dipped. This is my idea because most of the time ICO when available in the market will be hype at first and then dipped later. Yeah, you're right, we should be clever interms of investing ICO because most their token price in the market are get easily dropped and its too long to wait before recovery its value, so by your strategy that you had using now is really effective to avoid lossing profits or might minimize our losses when investing in such a ICO. |

Its true, most people moan on bitcoin price right now, maybe they buying bitcoin at high price and when bitcoin price drop below $10k they moan about the price. Acctualy, bitcoin price year on year always increasing and i am believe bitcoin is long term investment I guess that people who keep moan on bitcoin were just new In cryptocurrency. They don't know yet how bitcoin works In crypto world. it will never be too late for us. because bitcoin will never end even the price is very low right now, we can still earn money. just think of this, if we buy bitcoin now while it's still in low price, when we wait for next year because the price will bounce back again like last year, and when we sell it next year, we will have more profit.

I still do believe in cryptocurrencies and specially bounty campaigns. Bounty campaigns have all the money for bounty hunters. I recommend everyone who's broke and looking to make a huge profit in the long run to participate in bounty campaigns and invest in ICOs. when there is good news bitcoin can be very expensive and I think it's normal movement and when bitcoin has bad news so many people panic that makes a lot of people who sell their bitcoin  that is something that is common in this activity, because the desire of each person is also different as you say, when the price goes down it must all panic to sell, because that sense of panic cannot be eliminated when the time is urgent. moreover the need has also been waiting so it's natural to panic when prices go down.
