61  Economy / Economics / Re: The dream of getting rich with bitcoins on: February 28, 2018, 12:43:24 AM
Maybe not to get rich, but sure as hell to earn a decent amount of money with bitcoins.

How much money did you earn with bitcoins? Or did you lose some?

This is one of the misconception of people, bitcoin or any othet crypto currency can/may provide you good money but it is not a magic that can turn you into a rich guy instanlty. A lot of people lost everything because of this kind of mind setting and wrong decision in cryptocurrency trading and investing.
62  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Any idea for poor people? on: February 26, 2018, 04:28:22 AM
As we already know there are a lot of poor people in every country of the world, they surely do not have access to the internet and as the digital money is changing the world people are debating over the existence of real money all the virtual money. And as we know the government and the banks are printing more and more money which is reducing the initial value of the physical currency and all of this is going to be most painful for them. So now people are switching to the digital world so what should we do for the poor peoples should we make a system or let them take their life. I think if somehow we can make them literate then that is going to reduce the number of poor people in a country.

This is not as easy as ABC and making them computer literate will not make any people come out of poverty. Crypto currency is not a magic and not a solution to poverty. Yes, it can be a good way to earn money, however, take not le tgat not even everyone who are compyter literate are even aware of cryptocurrency.
63  Economy / Economics / Re: let us promote BITCOIN on: February 26, 2018, 03:45:24 AM
Actually there are a lot of threads about good things about bitcoin. It is good that a lot of people still trust bitcoin and I believe that this is not the first time that bitxoin market crashed and remember that with a great crash, bitcoin price also bounces back a lot. So, to all solid bitcoin supportet and hodlers, just hodl strong.
64  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin will have a price of $50000 on: February 26, 2018, 02:33:29 AM
Based on the news, bitcoin might hit $50000 by the end of 2018. Is this possible? If so, what are the reasons?

Bitcoin price is difficult to speculate. Any news about bitcoin price is just an estimate or speculation because market demand drives the price and as we all know people's choice whether to invest or withdraw is not contrallable.
65  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and ETH are Shitcoins on: February 26, 2018, 01:52:01 AM
So bitcoin got extremely high transaction fees, slowdowns, huge risks.
While ETH gets ton of shady ICOs and their most successful dApp is some stupid dancing cat avatar.

Both can be named Shitcoins and Scams, what will they ever be used for other than storages of money which they are good for? This does not justify their current prices, they probably should drop by 50% or more.

Yet WTC just signed China Mobile the worlds largest mobile carrier, as well as many other industry leaders and even exchanges, and will get to $50bn to $100bn market cap soon, yet nobody here even talks about them? Everyone buying BTC and ETH expecting *50 now?

ETH being $100k and Bitcoin being 1m? Lol....

Market really is crazy, a bubble and with tons of dumb money.

I hope for a crash because then WTC will still be worth $100bn.

Another FUD and a promotion. Can you please give your definition of shitcoin. I am sure you are also holding both eth and bitcoin on your portfolio. Grin Everyone is aware of it, and no coin is perfect.
66  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: As a beginner is it too late ? on: February 25, 2018, 08:19:22 PM
Hello,

I'm still learning about crypto currencies and willing to buy some bitcoins. Is it good time to buy?

Thanks

I think that it is never too late. A lot of people are still not aware of cryptocurrency, so just imagine if you can invest now, what will happen to the price of cryptocurrency if mass adaption of it by people, government, bussinessess and countries will happen.
67  Economy / Speculation / Re: can bitcoin reach 25k$ on: February 21, 2018, 05:48:46 PM
i want some advise from the expert because im only basis on my prediction can anyone tell !

I really think that bitcoin price hasn't reached it's peak yet and it will still grow more in the future. Not all people are aware of bitcoin potential yet, and more people would still learn and invest on bitcoin in the future. Just imagine it's price when more and more establishments adapt bitcoin and start using bitcoin as part of their daily transactions.
68  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin vs Ethereum after 5 years? on: February 21, 2018, 04:42:27 PM
What is most profitable to invest for 5 years ?BT or ETH

It's actually difficult to compare those two because they have different purpose and characteristics and both of the has it's own unique platform. Both can be really profitable, as we know that most ICOs use ethereum platform and bitcoin is also used by many people because of it's convenience and profitability.
69  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: How was your experience in joining bounty or airdrop? on: February 21, 2018, 04:10:07 PM
Out of hundreds of airdrop that I've joined and tried, I have received some of them. However, only a few has a value, and it's true some airdrops are just scam. I also lost some of my token from an airdrop where I was able to access a fake MEW. Just be careful when joining airdrop and don't expect anything when you join.
70  Economy / Economics / Re: Chinese New Year - Effect On Crypto on: February 20, 2018, 03:25:15 PM
Hi everyone, as it was Chinese NY on tbe last Friday I was wandering what peoples thoughts were on its possible effect if any on the market place. This holiday obviously effects a number of countries in Sth East Asia not just China; I would think that this period could potentially see a huge number of individuals cashing in for the festivities.

What are peoples thoughts on what to expect !?! could be a lowering or market cap & another / even better buy position for your Onions..

I really think that Bitcoin and other market crashes during Chinese new year. As we all know that a huge number of investors are from Asia, and maybe they dump most of their holdings to celebrate the holiday. A lot of people are also contributing to the crash because of panic selling. This gives a good opportunity to investors because they can buy coins at cheap price.
71  Economy / Economics / Re: What coin do you believe will be next to bitcoin? on: February 19, 2018, 07:46:14 PM
As part of the economy I want to ask

•What do you think is the next big thing? by means bitcoin is getting higher and people should now invest in like what they did before.

•What coin like bitcoin you should invest in? is it  bitcoingold? or the next coin that the developers will create

I really think that Ethereum will always be next to bitcoin. As we all know, most ICOs use ethereum platform in their investment, and most cryptocurrencies are traded via bitcoin, fiat, or ethereum. Aside from bitcoin, ethereum is also held by people because of it's potential and profitability in the long-run.
72  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin Dying as a Payment Option? on: February 19, 2018, 07:07:51 PM
This can be true, I really think that bitcoin's main purpose is to serve as a payment option and to ease transactions without the hassle of using banks and remittance services. However, some people view bitcoin as a currency or an asset to hold for future income.
73  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Any signature bounty campaign for newbies ?? on: February 18, 2018, 05:18:06 PM
I have heard abouty bounty campaigns and i searched and found that you have to be a member of bitcointalk and have a good rank...but i am just a newbie..are there any good bounty campaigns which are accepting newbies in their campaign

There are some signature campaigns that accept newbie, however, this campaigns accept newbies because only few participants join their signature campaign. If you want to join other campaigns, you should just try your best to rank up. Since the new merit system started, some campaigns even raised their standard and accept only member and up for their signature campaign.

Hello, I would like to ask why is the spreadsheet for signature campaign week 4 to 6 is not yet fully updated. I have no stakes from week 4 to 6 but I made all my posts on time. Can you please update the spreadsheet.
75  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: TOP 5 THINGS TO LOOK FOR IN A GOOD ICO on: February 15, 2018, 04:05:04 PM
There are so many ICOs that are flooding the market. Many look good on the outside, however I read so many conflicting comments for both pro and con.

So, I wanted to know what top 5 things to look for in a good ICO, so that ultimately I can decide the best ones to invest in.

Please share your thoughts and advice.

I haven't really invested in any ICOs before. However, whenever I do my research, I always look at the team consisting the team, the goal and aim of the project in the long-run, the road map, and if there's a working product or service. Continuous development, advertisement and good marketing also leads the project to further success after the ICO.
76  Other / Off-topic / Re: Have you ever been scammed? on: February 15, 2018, 03:29:44 PM
Can you share this experience?

If you say yes, what the project was it? Why did you believe in this project?

I think most people who are into crypto have been scammed at least once in their crypto time. It's also a good lesson, so that next time you will know what to avoid when dealing with people or doing transactions. I have scammed before when I first learned about crypto last 2013. I tried to invest all my funds in a bitcoin investment before and ended up getting nothing from it. From then on, I am very careful when investing or doing any transactions.
77  Economy / Economics / Re: Economy in your country on: February 15, 2018, 02:23:34 PM
What do you think are the effects of btc in your country? Because in my country it thus not affect the economy of ours. Share yours.

I think the economy of our country doesn't affect bitcoin price at all since only few people in our country are really aware of cryptocurrency and bitcoin investment. Maybe, in countries were people hold a lot of bitcoin such as: Japan, China, England and a lot more have a direct effect on bitcoin price.
78  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you think bitcoin has hit its peak? on: February 14, 2018, 05:17:07 PM
Hey all, I was just wondering your opinions on whether bitcoin has hit its peak already at around $20,000 or if you think it will break even higher in the future? I know there’s been bitcoin retraces of up to 80% before before it has risen a load again but I’m not sure that bitcoin hasn’t got the functionality that the price suggests.

Well, when bitcoin had hit it's price at $5,000 in the middle of 2017 last year, every one thought that it was bitcoin's peak. However, it reached it's ATH at $20,000 just before the year ends. So, who knows, how will bitcoin play this year. I really think that all the negative news about bitcoin on the first quarter of the year was intended for big whales to buy in at cheap price.
79  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin making alts useless on: February 14, 2018, 04:59:29 PM
We probably have multiple alts that one could consider as better version of bitcoin but as you're noticing, bitcoin is gaining more popularity and a fast growth. The price is not a measure of a coin success so what I'm referring to here is the the number of ATMs, exchanges, stores, services, and people accepting it.

So even If we have some people using alts currently because they believe they are better then bitcoin (which may be true), bitcoin is evolving and the development is super active and exciting times are coming. I honestly believe that this make alts useless (say, by the end of the year), your thoughts?

Actually, a lot of people already trusted bitcoin because of it's profitability and it's potential to change how the way people do their transactions in the future. However, you are right, there are altcoins that are entirely has a different function compared to bitcoin. Bitcoin also drives altcoin prices in some way, and bitcoin price also drives altcoin prices. However, I doubt if bitcoin will make other altcoins useless, because some altcoins are also growing together with the growth of bitcoin.
80  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can MyEtherWallet be hacked? on: February 14, 2018, 04:28:44 PM
Hi guys!
I’ll tell you what I think.
I'm feeling anxious about MEW security.
If we change some characters of Mew prative key, we will get to anather wallet.
Exampe:
Prative key wallet 1: a1e57f1422ae77c1c51f1626d6cbd6ad376f184976a0e83b430ed7e8c66e998d

Prative key wallet 2: a1e57f1422de77c1c51f1623d6cbd6ad376f184976a0e83b430ed7e8c66e998d

After i change characters on wallet 1 a = d & 6 = 3, i get wallet 2.

Question is, can MEW be hacked easily? This can be dangerous for investors.
And why MyEtherWallet not connect to 2FA? This is a good measure to protect our wallet.
Guys, What do you think about this?

It's possible to decode a wallet address, but of course it will take a lot of time. MEW can be hacked through phishing site, if someone knew your private key, or if someone has access to your wallet. The best way is to make sure that you are opening the right website, always check URL, never open a suspicious website, delete cookies, and secure your wallet private key.
