So 25.oct is 100% confirmed date when snapshot of BTC value in wallet (for which we have private key) will be used for new currency? Do we have any reliable source?
Do we have any info about fork date in november?
I saw some articles about Bitcoin Gold mining - that it will not be ASIC but GPU... Does anyone know anything about this...?

Unfortunately, American legislation currently hinders such participation, with statements by cryptomaniac holders. But on the other hand the visibility gained by Paypie will bring investors from all over the world
Surely it will bring investors around the world because PAYPIE is doing a good job in its marketing campaign which results to its community getting bigger by the day It does seem like the team has done a good job on marketing this project. I'm always a little worried that investors from the US aren't allowed to participate, but maybe they'll use VPN to get around restrictions. Did I miss some news? Yesterday's announcement said that US citizens are allowed to participate. Does s.th. changed? No, us citizens are allowed to participate, the announcement still current. But the person you have posted is too lazy to read posts. So he is not aware of it. This will be great for the ICO to let US citizens invest in this ICO. The more people can join this the better it will be for the presale and crowdsale. Cant wait to see this project go! Almost sunday  From team's point of view it's great yeah... I also sold all of my BCH as soon as I could on Bittrex. I just don't believe in it...
I see some of you are writing about Bitcoin Gold... Is this really a thing? I read an article about Bitcoin gold and that they want to make it avaible for GPU mining. But no "concrete" information about ir, actually I did not found any information about fork date and if it will really happen...

Hi all Was wondering what you guys did to maintain the GPUs for optimal performance? I suppose some tasks should be done weekly, and some tasks monthly and then maybe some tasks once a year? Maybe something like this? Weekly General cleaning using air blower Monthly Yearly Remove fans for thorough cleaning Oil fan motors Weekly / Daily Daily I check if all GPUs are still working (via teamviewer or similar software). I notice often that on some of my rigs one of GPUs stops working. I see it in device manager, but Afterburner and miner just ignore it. After restart everything is back to normal. Weekly I check temperatures and fans. If fans are spining and temperatures are in the safe zone and your enviroment isn't extra dusty then there is nothing to worry about. Monthly No special maintence / same as weekly... Yearly While GPUs are in warranty I will only clean dust every 6 months or before if necessary. When GPUs go out of warranty (and if I don't sell them before that) I will remove fans, clean them thoroughly and replace thermal paste. |

Well that is strange... Actually, it's not strange. what you have is an ICO done right. No favors to rich, everyone can fairly acquire a piece of the pie. (pun intended) As for the US Citizens, everyone knows that if you don't offer a product that pays dividend and you not involved in anything shady, thus having a reason to hide, then there is no reason to exclude your ICO from united state citizens. so offering it to U.S citizens should be an extra proof that you dealing with a reliable company that is willing to endure the scrutinizing from SEC and such. Yeah but it clearly states - Our legal team is of the view that our tokens do not meet the definition of “securities” under Canadian law. So that is their (team) view, not SEC view. US law is not even mentioned... Don't get me wrong I like this project and I will try to contribute in their first presale but I think that they could have problems with SEC in the future. As far as I know dividends are just one thing that leads to product meeting securities definition, there are many other conditions... I will really check into this because I am currently working with ICO team and our legal department said that there is no way we can make ICO without KYC/AML registration... I will post their response. |

I used Asus Prime Z270-A, MSI Z270 SLI PLUS and Gigabyte H110-D3A.
Between these 3 mb in my opinion Gigabyte is the best - low price and at least same performance as Asus and Msi. You can plug in max 6 cards.
I like the Z270 options, but, for just mining... dont you think they are overkill? You dont need so many overclocking/tuning options? Yeah they are overkill for mining  few months ago it was really hard to get mobo/gpu in my country so i took anything for a reasonable price... As I said Gigabyte H110-D3A which I bought later is perfect for me... Made for mining and low price... |

How much VIB are you guys planning to sell and how much to keep for the long run (in %)? I'm thinking about 60% sell / 40% keep if it hits x2.5-x3 ico price when listed...

I don't believe ICOs will end anytime soon. But they will be regulated and I don't think regulation is bad. The only problem I see with regulation is that terms aren't internationally agreed, which means that not all companies (will) have the same conditions and that is bad because in my opinion "cryptoworld" should be accesible to all people under same terms...

I use whattomine and coinwarz but I really don't trust 100% their profitability ranking. A few months ago Sigt was very profitable but it wasn't listed as top and today I can see the same situation with ZCoin - I am mining approx. 0.9-1.1 XZC a day with 7x gtx1070 8gb rig, which gives me approx. 10-14 usd a day (based on xzc price in the last two weeks) and rig uses only 570 watt. When I was mining ETH with same rig it gave me approx. 7-8usd per day with power consumption around 920 watt. Unfortunately when I tested xzc on p-106 hash rate was so much lower that it produced less than eth mining...
I like your suggestion about switch mining and I can see you created your own tool - will try it out and post my results. Thanks.
