61  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Best Country for Bitcoin use? on: February 17, 2018, 10:18:36 PM
I suppose you could add Japan to the list. They have shown the most friendly behavior towards cryptocurrencies, sooner or later they will lead the crypto innovation.
62  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why people attract for the BitCoin than other crypto currency? on: February 17, 2018, 10:13:43 PM
Usually people tend to go twards what offers them confidence and Bitcoin is pretty much the very "Big Bang" of the crypto. The risks are much much lower when you invest in Bitcoin rather than going to a new Altcoin.
63  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Tron (TRX) I missed the opportunity.. sad... on: February 14, 2018, 11:41:37 AM
Are you trading or looking for a long term hold?
I believe TRX still have potential to rise even higher with more and more collaborations being announced by the founder.

I bought some, just in case, to be sure I won't miss this moon ride, if there's ever gonna be one.
64  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: KFC now accepts Bitcoin! on: February 14, 2018, 11:12:18 AM
Check out my YouTube video where I dive more in depth : BREAKING NEWS KFC is now accepting Bitcoin, and Smart contracts might be legally binding!

Is this just a bucket of chicken, or a bucket of publicity stunts?

You will be able to buy a bucket of chicken in Select Canada KFC's. However you will have to order it online using Bitpay, and have it shipped to you.

Cost : Around $20 + $5 shipping + Taxes + Any other blockchain fees

What do you guys think about it?

Not long ago wast MC Donald, now KFC. That's great news. I look forward to see more initiatives like this one. But, first, I think the Bitcoin fees will need to get fixed. Smiley
65  Other / Off-topic / Re: Best way to earn Bitcoin on: February 14, 2018, 11:01:55 AM
I’m newbie here... What’s the best way to earn Bitcoin? I need assistance please. Thank you.

Well, if you have 0 money in your pocket, go ahead and participate in a few bounty campaigns and then sell the reward for BTC then trade bitcoin and earn more or lose them all. Smiley
66  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Will Kill The Income Tax on: February 14, 2018, 09:50:42 AM
But I heard some developing countries are internally proposing to withdraw the process of collecting income taxes. It could be a new revolution like they are thinking only taxes from business and properties are more than enough to run a government.

So, I believe bitcoin will not be the game changer here. It is a new trend that governments start think in different way.

Imagine that if they start giving a basic income for everyone, things will start changing, dramatically!
67  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Does technical analysis work with crypto? on: February 13, 2018, 11:48:40 PM
I've been thinking about starting to learn how to read charts and do some technical analysis for myself. The problem is I see it ridiculed on pretty much every forum and people saying it's useless for crypto.

What are your thoughts? Worthwhile?

There are plenty of tutorials and guides on how to read through an ICO and see if it's crap or if actaully is worth something.

71  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The advantages of bitcoin on: February 13, 2018, 08:48:06 PM
For me, Bitcoin has many advantages, one advantage is it gives to the individual money to sustain the basic needs, It also reduce the increasing number of unemployed in some countries, The people who work in bitcoin develops the ability to reason out, enhanced the English proficiency, that's the some advantage of bitcoin.

The main advantage of Bitcoin is that it makes our world decentralized, it makes it better.
72  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcoin is not gambling on: February 13, 2018, 05:01:04 PM
a little bit is. when you sell your house and all your belongings, you gamble with the 1% chance of losing it all
73  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: ★ [ANN] 🔵 Ethereum Blue | AIRDROP 🔵 The first secure ERC20 on: October 17, 2017, 09:14:13 AM
Wasn't there another airdrop about this coin in the past? What happened with that?
74  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What You Need To Know To Get FREE Bitcoin Gold During The Fork. on: October 17, 2017, 08:57:42 AM
You mentioned mining by normal computers. How can we mine Bitcoin Gold right away? Is there a trusty website for mining?

There is no clear info for that. Hope they will provide one soon...
And idk if that coin will be good investment to mine, especially without all the info about how where and when will all happen...

It is too shady for now...

Even though there was much discussion about the coin, there is a lot of information available regarding the points you mentioned:

- Mining via Equihash: First of all, the mining algorithm will be Equihash, which is the algorithm Zcash uses, a mostly RAM dependent mining process.
- Block of fork: The fork will take place at BTC block 491407. This block will most likely be mined around October 25, 2017.
- Exchanges and mining pools: The official homepage lists several exchanges and mining pools, which confirmed that they will support Bitcoin Gold.

I hope, this helps a little bit. As everyone who holds BTC, when the fork takes place, will automatically get BTG, the risk of "investing" is rather low. Only the time after the fork will show, if BTG will have some value or not.

Can you point out some mining pools that announced that will support Bitcoin Gold mining? I would very much like to get into mining with my PC

That's too bad, I wouldn't want to miss the start. I bet the mining difficulty will increase extremely fast because everyone will jump in.

77  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Culture and Traditions fading away on: October 17, 2017, 07:13:20 AM
At some level it's good that tradition is fading away. Imagine if the church still had the power as it did in the past and kings ruled us still? Where would've been? Earth was flat, Sun would spin around earth, witches would be burned alive and doctors would be allowed to treat people. :|
