61  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What to do if the prices down again? on: March 08, 2018, 10:27:05 PM
....
to be honest I will do when bitcoin prices go down again I will buy as much bitcoin as I can because if you know the condition of the total availability of very limited bitcoin it is certain the price will be very expensive in the future.

For me as investor, just keep it for next 4 year ! Yeah that's right , just take a look bitcoin value from 2009 until 2017 , they always uptrend.
Well if bitcoin down on 2018 ( of course I'm not hope that happen ) it can up again for another year because bitcoin is unique so it's has their own way to amaze people just like before

With the Bitcoin investment investors cannot do mistakes. Same goes for the Ethereum that is close to the stable coin.

These coins have long and prosperous future and the value of them besides the few falls which will happen a couple of times more, will rise and volatility will be maybe even more reduced.

Others altcoins don't have this reputability of popularity because they are all practically new in comparison to the Bitcoin. Down prices are actually best opportunities for the new investments. The OP must find only the right coin to invest in.
62  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC news on: March 08, 2018, 10:21:46 PM
Where do you get your news about BTC? I am looking for a relevant and credible source of news, e.g. like cointelegraph.com (which I favor), but would like to have other opinions.

Here are some sources of the news to keep you informed. It is up to you to choose the site which suits you best. Try to register for their newsletters; you can even track all of them:

https://blockonomi.com/cryptocurrency-news/

I am beside the official sites also tracking the Reddit and other forums like Quora for the answers for which I can get sometimes the honest questions. This forum is also great knowledge source but the problem is that you must learn to separate false answers from the newbies from the informative answers from the real investors.
63  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hodl or do I realize the loss? on: March 08, 2018, 10:16:16 PM
Holding or Holding is actually the only thing that is left for you in this situation. 90 percent right now is the huge amount of the money and if the coin starts to rise again after you have sold it you will regret it afterward.

Investment is a risk connected with the calculated analysis which we cannot classify good sometimes so we end up with the loss. A market is unpredictable but the patience is something we must hold onto if we want profit. A market is fluctuating a lot.

Even if you think there is no chance to get back to the full price you've invested there is maybe small chance to get at least to the half of the value you have invested in your coin.
64  Economy / Economics / Re: Private Coins from banks and governments on: March 08, 2018, 02:50:27 PM
Do you think that banks, governments and investment companies such as Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan and other will try to replace the decentralised coins and try to lure their clients to invest into their own private blockchains? What can be done to prevent that?

They can try to do so but I don't think they have so much power to actually do anything in regards to exchanging decentralized currencies to centralized.  Decentralized crypto has made to much reputability for the government, banks and investment companies to change that status.

All crypto users are actually independent and they are highly against the government which is well known for their desire to control everything.

Decentralized crypto cannot be controlled by these institutions and that is its greatest power!
65  Economy / Economics / Re: Investment amount on: March 08, 2018, 02:46:08 PM
How much would you make as first amount? I was thinking  £50 bit even if this times by even 10 that's only 500.

Would 300 be a more realistic start

Your investment depends on your financial capabilities. You can invest the money you don't have in a risky investment; even the investment that looks safe is risky. If the investment fails you are losing substantial amount of money.

If you have 300 dollars; pounds; euros spares by the side and if you have proper knowledge about the coins you want to invests in then go ahead!

In this case, dont look at the risks because the people which ain't risking also ain't gaining any substantial profit.
66  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Bitcoin Volatility Be Controlled? on: March 08, 2018, 02:27:06 PM
Making a bank would definitely solve this problem. If a central bank could regulate the supply and the interest rates, then the prices would stay relatively stable.

The making of the bank would ruin the whole meaning of the Bitcoin as the decentralized coin. The government hasn't created the Bitcoin and you must already know that the banks are controlled by the government.

Authorities would for sure be glad if they could control the flow of the Bitcoin, actually if they could control the whole supply and make limitation to their own advantage.

Bitcoin volatility is still going through the changes and a lot more time needs to pass for us to see the stagnation and maybe the stabilization of the fluctuations. Bitcoin controlled by the banks is a bad idea.
67  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Any idea on how to improve knowledge about altcoin or any other coins. on: March 07, 2018, 10:37:20 AM
Google is the best education today, social media, youtube channels the world is all open to gain the knowledge.

I agree that the google is the key to obtaining the knowledge. Everything you need to know you can find within the limits of the search bar.

If you are more committed to the crypto market even try to buy some books. If you buy them in a physical form then congrats - You are within the few which are actually dedicated to the investments deals.

This forum is also a great place to obtain searched knowledge because you will get many answers to your questions you just need to find the right answer between the many that are usually false.
68  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why Neo is going all the way down? on: March 07, 2018, 10:32:37 AM
I invested in Neo. But from last week after ONT airdrop, its keep on sinking.
Any news???

I believe in the NEO and I don't think that this fall will last long. As of today, I can see that all the coins have started to drop again and with that said you know what to do.

This is again best time to invest, especially in NEO; coin with great perspective. Looking back in time you can also see falls it had in the past but with this value it achieved it can only grow further in some TIME.

Try to be patient and if you have guts even try to invest some more!
69  Economy / Economics / Re: do you really like crypto coin? on: March 07, 2018, 08:50:50 AM
i like it a lot because this crypto i change how to make study hard.. like when im schooling before, and now same crypto before you move forward in all coin make sure study first. in crypto i make profitable income he even not much. also all ico token its like a lot also they also make your profit if you joined thier project.
Having digital money where we can use to purchase online is so interesting. Profiting many times through investing and earning tokens in ICO are amazing so yes I like crypto coins much.

I think that there are no investors that hate the investment that he/her is doing. There is maybe a small percentage of people who are actually hating the crypto and they are waiting for the right time to get out of-of the game but instead of getting out they are centered on making back their losses that they have accumulated through time.

These so-called gamblers - investors are actually no thinkers and their greed for the more profit has actually left them in a state of the financial disorder.

I personally love crypto but I don't know what the future will bring me and will I get significant losses in the future; that shouldn't happen if I invest smartly but my everyday life is influencing me hardly because stress accumulated through the days is also transferring to my investing so properly investment is sometimes left out.
70  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Any book I should read? on: March 07, 2018, 08:45:13 AM
Here is the link to the top 20 investing books:

https://www.stocktrader.com/investing-books/

These books are actually centered around the stock investing but if you look at the cryptomarket there is no difference in investment between the stocks and the crypto.
How to Make Money in Stocks by the author William O’Neil is one the books that are presented here and it is very educative in the terms of strategy and investment.
71  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Set your goals for today on: March 07, 2018, 08:40:37 AM
Todays goal:
BTC $11,000
ETH $900
XRP $1
LTC $205

The daily goals can only be used if you are doing the day trades and even then you can't predict what value will the certain coin have at the end of the day. You can only speculate and do guessing.

From today the new correction phase has started and I can see that all the coins are in the falling process.

Another thing, the coins that you have specified are actually the coins that the people use for the monthly profit and not for the day trading because they don't have so high rising curve within a day.
72  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What makes an altcoin valueable? on: March 06, 2018, 10:56:38 PM
A good project is what makes an altcoin valuable. There are exceptions to this of course. But, if a good project raises awareness and gets people to invest and the token has a use, then it is likely the altcoin will be valuable.

Even then when the good project is recognized it can fail if the developers are not committed enough to make up with the expectations of the investors. Developers are getting tired in some phase of the project development and some of them are even tired of the constant work and that they must do in order to attract even more investors.

Because of the pressure factors, they are deciding to satisfy themselves with the money the had gathered in the meantime and the altcoin they were working is slowly becoming obsolete without the investors knowing.

So, taking that in regard awareness can also be false and the people must recognize for themselves if the purpose is satisfied and if the value is just temporary.
73  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I am so stressful with trading coins, I lost 13000$ on: March 05, 2018, 08:45:13 AM
I'm so stupid when attending crypto currency, who can help me to get money back? I also ask many traders who has experiences in this one, but I still lost money

That is for sure a nice amount of the lost money. Before even attending and managing your portfolio and trades arm yourself with the patience and knowledge. Without the proper lesson prior the investment and trades investors are doomed to demise. There is a small percent of the cases in which the luck prevails on the positive side for the investors but like in the gambling luck is not something to rely on.

Your money can be restored with another investment or with your work if you have proper skills, or with your regular job if you have one but asking another trader to help you is careless. Everyone works for themselves. Maybe telegram groups are fooling you when they are pressuring the pumps but in the end, a manager is the one which is taking the cake in the end.

Learn from your mistakes and invest only money you are willing to lose and maybe next time you will get back your initial loss and even gain the nice amount of the profit!

75  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Reasonable return on investment 12-18 months? on: February 27, 2018, 09:03:09 AM
I prefer the investment in the medium and short term, the return is more flexible and generates more business opportunities, $ 500 is not feasible in simple currencies, it is viable in Blockchains. However everything will depend on your lifestyle and business, Good luck.

You can invest in a coin and get more than you think with that investment. Bitcoin could be something that can make that.

It can be for sure the more than is expected but in how long? Although I am supporting Bitcoin as the main crypto I personally don't believe that it can make wast amount of return in 12 -18 months. Current instability and balance on the market is disrupted and Bitcoin needs a couple of years to rise to a desired amount of value. To the OP investment in the Bitcoin can only double his income and if that is satisfied income for him then his question is answered but I personally doubt that a reasonable return on investment is double!
76  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin as national currency? on: February 27, 2018, 08:51:47 AM
Could it be possible that in the future there are countries that use bitcoin as the national currency??
I do not think so. because every country has its own currency. and cryptocurrency is only used for virtual currency.

Every country has their own standards. Country currency is not determined by the common people in the mass. It is determined by the government which has high standards for choosing the main currency for their nation. This scenario of the Bitcoin prevailing would be possible only if some main nations accept Bitcoin as the main currency; then the others would follow ( That will never happen )!
77  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How important are ICO advisors? on: February 22, 2018, 10:30:23 PM
When most people evaluate ICOs, they consider the advisors.  However, most are looking for big names in the crypto sphere.  In my opinion, it's more important to look for industry experts outside of crypto.  The goal of most blockchain projects is to gain usage and adoption in the real world, and expert advisors with credentials in major industries open doors to new markets.  At the end of the day, when projects exhaust their ICO funds, they must earn revenues.  What do you think?

I agree with your point of view. Advisors are very important anyway for marketing purposes too, because if people see that "big names" are advisors, they are more prone to invest...

The real problem with the ICOs lies in the false representation of the fake advisors. Some team( most of the teams) are showing the large group of the popular advisors and in the end, it is revealed that these certain advisors are not even aware that their name had been involved in the promotion of the certain projects. Scams are popular nowadays and every investor must be very careful if he wants to pick the proper project that is true and believable. To find out the real truth about the connection of the big names with the ceratin ICO projects try to search Linkedin, Twitter or every social network and try to look the connection between the advisors and the team behind the ICO. If even the slight mistake or false advertising is found step back and run.

As for the ICO developers who are looking for the big advisor I would recommend to choose at least 5 advisors because every advisor has his/her own perspective that is vital for the ICO success. Advisors are the must-have factor if the developers want to succeed in their project. They don't have to be big names( even if the big name will attract a lot of investors it can cost you financially). The advisors with the proper knowledge are crucial for the certain ICO success but false advisors are leading only to the demise in the end.
78  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BestBuy not selling some GPUs due to Bitcoin crypto mining? on: February 22, 2018, 10:17:47 PM
So here’s something new that happened to me today. I walked inside the BestBuy to ask for one of the 1080Ti GPU and the guy came to me and said, “we’re not allowed to sell any of them until we figure out how to stop crypto currency mining”.

What is up with them and how are they planning to stop this? Anyone else ran into this issue?
It looks really funny, the only possibility is that they do not have the stock and nothing else and it is known that it is really difficult to get some models in the market as they are used in mining and hence he might have said because you were asking for a specific model, the graphic card companies are manufacturing these cards to sell and not to hold back. Tongue

Right, I was asking for a specific model, and his words were that they are not allowed to sell it until they figure out a way to stop crypto mining  Grin

The real reason behind the denial of your request for the graphic card is probably the shortage of the same. This specific store maybe didn't had the requested graphic card(1080Ti GPU) and seller probably made some kind of joke that is only known to him. This past couple of months the prices of the graphic cards have gotten above average and every store is actually very happy because of the current situation. Their profits are huge right now.

This certain seller that was administrated with the sale of the graphic cards in the time of your arriving at the store was maybe angry with the huge demand of the graphic cards and also angry at the miners (one of the speculated reason may be that he hasn't start mining when the time was right and now is very angry at every successful miner which is mining properly). There are a couple of reasons why you did get that strange answer but bear in mind that the policy of best buy is not the rejection of the buyers. They are very pleased with this current situations that will last ( for how long I don't know).

Try to come another day when the other seller will work there and ask the same question. Maybe you will hear the different answer and maybe the desired GPU will be available this time.
79  Economy / Economics / Re: Companies that are scary on: February 17, 2018, 02:18:13 PM

Of all the large companies that are now large internet players, do anyone particularly scare you in terms of how you data and track could be used? Amazon, Facebook, Twitter, …?

Here are some examples for the popular and mighty companies that have the complete track of our profiles:

GOOGLE - Everything that you have ever searched for is saved deeply in the google storages even if you had deleted your history. You age and gender are visible to the google even if you had not told them that because of their comprehensive ads profile of you. If you have the android phone Google will know where you had traveled ( Interesting thing is that your phone also knows how fast you were traveling on your trips - it is good that they dont share that data with the police - yet Wink)

YOUTUBE - They know what kind of videos you have been watching ( be aware of what you are typing in your search field)

FACEBOOK - I dont have to tell you how mighty this company is. Even if you delete your profile all of your data still remains there and if you ever decide to go to Facebook again all the data will magically appear there.

APPLE - Siri is storing every information you had ever asked her ( It would be better that you dont ask her about some strange and criminal things). You never know how will your data be processed later in this time in which our privacy is ruined

AMAZON - They are collecting data about your reading habbits ( hmm, interesting)

Every of this companies is scary in some kind of way because you never know how will your "private" data be used later. If you have strange habits think before you act and remember that every information that you are giving over the network will be stored there and you never know when someone will dig it and use it against you.
