Apparently, Spoondolies are the most power dense and stable miners out there. However, I'm not sure if they'll develop new more energy efficient products so I'll probably wait to see that before I do any hosting.

Hi,
I keep getting this message "Timed out while waiting for the magic character" after trying to send out BTC with Electrum 2.0. Yes, I did enter the right passhprase/PIN and fee amount.
Any ideas?
Thanks,

Your data center is 5MW and you have only 500units (~0.3MW) Strange Chinese business..
He has almost 1000 S5 and maybe more Sx ? Strange conclusions nothing strange: your hosting costs pay for his miners electricity (maybe). 1000S5 is 0.6MW. Maintenance is 0.05$ kwh (including electricity and other fees), i.e. it's very cheap. That's why I'de written a strange so low active MW if they have 5MW in their DC Scrypt-N chips from KNC Miner would seem energy efficient enough....I could put some of that excess capacity to work :-)

I'm sensing Bitmain has something else in mind and he's just making more price increases to suck up the last pennies from the market beforehand... (I feel S6 shouldn't be that far out. ;-)

"A change in competitor" = BS. The drop then rise of S5 miner price is simply because he likes to play games by speculating with bitcoin price in order to extract the most possible juice out of the miners and leave zero marginal benefit to miners because in his space he's a monopolist/oligopolist. Let's drop the bullshit once and for all.
|
|
|
C'mon, "Competitor intelligence" = bullshit. Bitmain just saw bitcoin price raise a bit and then goes to increases prices. Just like any other monopolist. We need more providers.

So what happened to the good old days of trying to have a real p2ppool??? Is the p2ppool Bitmain dream dead and we are back to the typical centralized and fee-based stuff as usual?? With so much money and great team and opportunity to do justice to Bitcoin why give up??

Hi,
My wallet is stuck in "Synchronizing". Any idea?? I already restarted it and tried to use different servers.
Is there any specific port number I should connect to? Currently it says "50001" eventhough is in auto-connect.
Thanks

I have used Bitcoinwisdom as a charting app for over a year now and have never had an issues with it!
This morning I had a tab on Firefox reserved for Bitcoinwisdom (as usual) and noticed that i was not logged in on Bitcoinwisdom... so i decided to actually log in for a change.
BIG MISTAKE!!!
Since then i constantly get the following error message for most exchanges:
Load failed, retry after 5 seconds.
Probably Reason BitcoinWisdom is temporary down Domain is not bitcoinwisdom.com Network issue
I say MOST and not all, because if i click on Huobi then it actually downloads all data and displays all data/graphics as per normal. However, if i click on any of the other exchanges on the front page, eg. Bitstamp, BTC-e, Bitfinex then i get the above error!
After restarting my PC a few times and seeing the problem persisted, I tried to find a solution to this by googling... one solution which seemed to come up a few times was to change my DNS settings to that of Google (USA). But that has not worked!!
I am now DESPERATE to find a solution to this!! Please help....
I seriously doubt logging in has anything to do with it...but did you try after logging out and removing cookies/cache ?? Now that'd be a good test.

hmmm... the Electrum wallet with Trezor plug-in seems to be make my wallet be stuck in "Synchronizing" forever.....any thoughts??
|
|
|
The issue is global and is happening at least in the top exchanges: coinbase, bitfinex and bitstamp among the ones I tested. I don't see how that has anything to do with the Japanese quotes.
|
|
|
Is there any reason nobody responds on what's going on with lack of order depth in some of the exchanges? specially for some of us that are paying customers???

Hello, I keep getting this error while signing transaction with Trezor plug-in for Electrum? Anyone? error: [Errno 9] Bad file descriptor Traceback (most recent call last): File "/home/johny/electrum/lib/util.py", line 291, in _send sent = self.socket.send(out) File "/usr/lib/python2.7/socket.py", line 170, in _dummy raise error(EBADF, 'Bad file descriptor') error: [Errno 9] Bad file descriptor Traceback (most recent call last): File "/home/johny/electrum/lib/util.py", line 291, in _send sent = self.socket.send(out) File "/usr/lib/python2.7/socket.py", line 170, in _dummy raise error(EBADF, 'Bad file descriptor') error: [Errno 9] Bad file descriptor

XPY (Paycoin) is now the 4th most traded crypto in the world and still not in bitcoinwisdom....hmmmm...that's weird :-/

Wow. Seems like nobody gives a shit about this great product!!!
How come this forum is empty. This technology is great but it's mega depressing to see zero participation in bitcointalk like there was when Trezor launched. Am I missing the right bitcointalk forum for BitStash?
Looking forward to the community discussion!

Thanks. I had done that, re-cloned the git and got same exact error. Error is not even during seed creation but just by simply executing the app.

Well, I hope Electrum takes Trezor seriously. It's a great combo and it'd be strategic mistake to ignore them...
BTW...This doesn't works. I get this error when executing this line --> ARCHFLAGS="-arch i386 -arch x86_64" sudo python setup-release.py py2app --includes sip:
".... import socks ImportError: No module named socks..."
I fixed this by downloading http://socksipy.sourceforge.net and moving the file socks.py into the Electrum directory. It should be fine. Hi, Thanks. This helped to finally create the app and dmg files. However, when I run it , it simply says "Electrum Error" with the option to Terminate or Open the Console/Logs...Arrggg...It's so difficult to make an app work in Mac. There's always something package/library crap missing or something ... :-/ I guess I'll just wait for the Mac binary...

Wow. Seems like the hardware wallet space is starting to heat up. Here's a new hardware wallet called "Bitstash." I still don't get it because the video is very vague but it introduces interest concepts and security features nonetheless via Bluetooth and 3 types of wallets. I hope Trezor can consider some of them for their next version: http://bitstash.com
