62  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Jack Ma, Anti Bitcoin? on: July 28, 2018, 05:06:45 PM
Had confessed to confused with one of these digital currencies, Alibaba CEO Jack Ma now decided to be in anti-Bitcoin camp.

Quoted from the South China Morning Post, Tuesday (5/22/2018), at the World Intelligence Congress in Tianjin, China, Jack Ma revealed there is a gap owned by Bitcoin.

"There are bubbles on Bitcoin, but not bubbles in blockchain technology," he said.
Bubbles, is a term in economics that refers to the trading activity of an asset in a large volume so that its price range goes far beyond its intrinsic value. According to Jack Ma, Bitcoin experienced that.
Although his attitude seemed anti with the cryptocurrency, but he did not turn a blind eye to the technology that runs all transactions using Bitcoin, the blockchain. Personally, he admits that he is quite confident in this technology.

The man whose real name is Ma Yun also said that blockchain is a solution to security and privacy, especially in internet-based finance that processes trillions of trillions of trades. Even so, he does not agree if this technology is applied to run Bitcoin for money.

"Social networks may not need blockchain, but we still have to switch to it, because otherwise it would be fatal," he said.

In line with the thinking of Jack Ma, Alibaba has been doing research on technology that functions like the ledger in recent years.

In fact, the e-commerce giant is also ranked first in the patent application against global application blockchain in 2017.

Over the past year, Alibaba has listed 43 blockchain application patents, with Bank of America being the closest competitor through 33 patents. The figures are based on data from IPRdaily, the provider of information on intellectual property.

In addition to Alibaba, a number of companies from other Bamboo Curtain countries have also implemented blockchain technology in various sectors. They are Xiaomi with blockchain based game titled Jiamitu, Cainiao who applies the technology in logistics delivery, Ofo through a blockchain research agency, as well as one of Mobike's business units.
Blockchain fever was not only penetrated into companies that have been said large, a number of startups that move in that field was also quite a lot. It can be seen from 41% of the total funding of startup focused on the pilot company engaged in the field associated with blockchain.

"Blockchain is a hot topic of conversation right now, but not all companies can implement this technology.Too many people are selling blockchain-based products, this is my concern," concluded Jack Ma.

It's fine to express his own opinion, especially if it' true he did some kind of research on blockchain. But he doesn't have patent to be right, no one does. Blockchain is great tech, bitcoin is a future of money
63  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can you wait to prove them wrong about Bitcoin? on: July 28, 2018, 05:04:43 PM
I love the technology behind bitcoin and the rest of the crypto currency, it is still in the initial stage and I understand that many people will look at it useless, since the rest of the crypto currency is still in its initial stage. Just like the story of the Internet and mobile phones and much more a few years ago. This will be the same story with the crypto currency that is currently undergoing. Yes, we just need more time to prove that they are all wrong.

it's in the early stage, that is absolutely correct. Therefore we need to not only wait but to find the ways how we can promote and help the ecosystem to grow and expand
64  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: WHY CRYPTOCURRENCY PROGRESS MOVE SLOW IN AFRICA? AND WHAT TO DO TO HELP AFRICANS on: July 28, 2018, 05:02:10 PM
Hello, as we both knwo that cryptocurrency ius future payment solution in the world thoughthere is some bariers from differenct states and goverments but the reality still there.
Example we can see proress in some europeans countries having ATM machins where users can withdraw bitcoin and other altcoins there by using their ATM crds, also they can pay by using cryptocyurrency in different placess like supermarkets but also they can make online purchase with cryptocurrencies.

SO..
WHY WE DONT SEE THESE THINGS IN AFRICA TOO??

WHATS  TO DO TO HELP AFRICAN COUNTRIES TO ADOPT THESE CHANGES?

Bitcoin is difficult system to understand even for educated people. Africa is suffering from undereducated population which makes it really difficult to locals to grasp the idea of crypto
65  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Thailand Legalize Crypto currency on: July 28, 2018, 11:31:04 AM
Hopefully, this will be an opportunistic advantage for the growing electronic money sector in Thailand and a prerequisite for acceptance in many countries around the world.

it's a good example to other countries not to be afraid of regulating crypto currencies and follow this example. i'm pretty sure that we can be really excited about the future
66  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin End Goal on: July 28, 2018, 11:23:43 AM
My goal for bitcoin to get used as a means of payment when it is legend in my country, and to benefit from bitcoin which is now a lot of people who know about bitcoin in the world.

absolutely, there are more important roles of crypto than making people rich. ability to be your own bank is priceless, especially in some countries with many financial issues
67  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: $Millions in Investment. Why Did Investors Choose Coinbase? on: July 28, 2018, 11:22:06 AM
There are so many Bitcoin address, wallet and merchant providers out there so how did Coinbase manage to get hundred of millions of dollars in funding?

Even as recent as August 2017 Coinbase raised another $100 million in investor funding: https://blog.coinbase.com/coinbase-raises-100m-series-d-led-by-ivp-f5f25cb51019

So why is Coinbase considered such a viable investment for investors rather than other similar products?

that's pretty clear, they're well established exchange, probably most recognized bitcoin company from all. why would you invest in other exchanges if coinbase has largest user base?
68  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Bitcoin Worth To Be Currency? on: July 28, 2018, 11:20:40 AM
bitcoin is meant to be a p2p currency. so yes, it's worth using it that way. should there be another widely crypto instead, i wouldn't mind that at all. can't wait to see how things turn out
69  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin or Property? What might be the best investment? on: July 27, 2018, 10:21:44 AM
At this point of time, Bitcoin investment looks more profitable to me than real-estate and this is because i feel that property is not the thing whose valuation will increase overnight and you got to wait for a long long time but being a risk-taker, I would prefer to invest in BTCs for the long term in order to get a better payback. Bitcoin is starting to rule again and the levels of profit it can give excites me to the core.

If bitcoin grows, it grows more than value of properties. If it falls, it falls much more than property ever would. So it really depends. Main thing is to diversify your protfolio the right way
70  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's gonna happen if Bitcoin gets ETF approval??? All about bitcoin ETF on: July 27, 2018, 10:20:45 AM
And now, let's explain why ETFs are just more of what Bitcoin was built to replace.

In case anyone hadn't noticed, the global economy is in turmoil because all the banks and other big institutional investors are constantly gambling on derivatives and other such financial instruments.  These instruments largely consist of repackaged debt obligations and IOUs.  Then, when they inevitably get their bets wrong, the public has to bail the banks out, the pension pots get raided until there's hardly anything left, the stock market eventually crashes and the traders start throwing themselves out of windows again.  Rinse, repeat.  That's literally how it works.  The global economy in a nutshell.  But whatever happens, it's ultimately ordinary people who don't realise any of this is happening who end up being the ones who foot the bill.  Yet, despite how ridiculous it all is, no one who's actively involved in this game seems to want to change it.  It's a terrible system.  It's so insane that you couldn't make this shit up.  It's a farce.

So someone created Bitcoin.  A pure system, with no debt.  And it's great.  No one can take money they haven't actually got to gamble with on bad debts.  But, instead of embracing this superior model, institutional investors wanted more infinite debt to gamble with, so they eagerly await the launch of Bitcoin ETFs IOUs where they can continue to speculate from the sidelines in the worthless casino they seemingly can't find the exit from.  Apparently that's too "complicated" for them.   Roll Eyes

They aren't going to be holding any actual bitcoins, they're just going to be playing with the IOUs.  That's their loss.

this is completely right. On the one hand, with ETF, Bitcoin price will grow indeed. But do we want to that growth? Are we here to earn money or support a movement? Majority choose the first option, I'm sure
71  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's your attitude to this? on: July 27, 2018, 10:18:20 AM
You are very brave and wise person if you are considering the Golden middle of this thing, but the simple reason that some of the people cannot afford bitcoin and they are sticking with alternative cryptocurrency saying that they have an advantage.

Bitcoin is nothing to afford. Everyone can afford bitcoin, ven if he wants to buy $1 worth of Bitcoin. It's not that you need to buy whole bitcoin and then sell or spend whole bitcoin
72  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ⚛️ [ANN] Bitcoin Atom - Fork 1:1 of Bitcoin - Atomic Swap Powered ⚛️ on: July 22, 2018, 09:36:18 AM
The future of bitcoin is here now, looking after the BTC of the past.ATOM will be huge in the next few years!

I believe the same thing. Atomic swaps are going to be a great alternative to OTC trading which is needed so much. In time they can maybe make it even highly liquid alternative to centralized exchanges

I'm not sure about the second option, but for majority of people who only to easily buy and sell crypto, atomic swaps will surely do the job just fine. let's hope to have it ready asap
73  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Samsung Stores in Three Baltic States Accepting Cryptocurrencies on: July 22, 2018, 09:35:01 AM
Samsung Baltic Stores Start Accepting Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, Ripple, Dash, Nem, and Steem. https://news.bitcoin.com/samsung-stores-in-the-baltic-states-now-accept-cryptocurrencies/

that's a really amazing news. We need this cryptocurrencies adoption in terms of payments, I'm happy to hear baltic countries are also interested in crypto and hope that the level of transactions will be good

75  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: why so many peoples belived in pump 2018? on: July 21, 2018, 07:45:19 PM
Simply because they have no choice but to believe. It's like playing in a lottery outlet. You know that you don't even had a chance but you'd still try to because you have no choice but took up the challenge. It may not be the wiser idea or way of thinking but that's how it goes for thinking of easy money.

this is not the question of chance and lottery. As long as you're confident that crypto will reach houses of regular people, it's a safe bet that the prices will grow and you will be a happy man
76  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty Hunters on: July 21, 2018, 07:44:13 PM
I only do one bounty and do justice to that particular company. I believe in honesty and integrity. I do not participate in multiple bounties at the same time and pay dedicated attention to one particular bounty. I could do that, but I have high morals and very ethical person. Also, I implore you to do the same. It's good to partake in only one bounty as they are paying money for your service so you, in turn, should do them justice. So according to my humble opinion, one should only partake into one bounty at one point of time. It is never good to be greedy. Give your all to the current bounty.

I don't think you would be unfaithful doing more different bounties at a time. But if that is your conviction, no problem at all, it's interesting to see someone being that morale, perhaps for nothing
77  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Airdrops are worth it !!!! on: July 21, 2018, 07:41:47 PM
Lately I have seen a lot people complain about fake airdrops or low profitable airdrops
But in reality Airdrop have been worth it; if you can make your research and improve your standard

Recent airdrops such as Fresco, Helbiz, Nobs Crypto, Kanade,  have been hitting up the exchanges with fair and profitable prices

Which is telling us that Airdrop is Alive

if you find a right now, it might be worth it. It's just pretty risky many times. As long as you do your research it should be fine though, questions is whether it's worth that much time
78  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How should i invest in altcoins on: July 21, 2018, 07:40:00 PM
There has recently been a lot of hype about altcoins and how they will grow in the future, how is investing in them optimum for good results. Altcoins like humaniq, LALA World, Wala are my main targets for the portfolio.

are you actually asking a question or trying to give an advice to invest in those altcoins you mentioned? If you're asking, then make sure you did a good research before investing
79  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin has really come back? on: July 19, 2018, 01:06:20 PM
Bitcoin prices have rebounded to over $ 7400 today with large volume trading. Normally, bitcoin prices will increase sharply at the end of the year and this year will be no exception, a lot of good news has been released and the movement of the market is very positive. If nothing changes I believe the bitcoin price at the end of this year will continue to peak as many people expect.

bitcoin was nowhere. Price will be volatile from now also, I don't know if the prices will reach new heights this year, but it doesn't mean that huge progress is not being made...
80  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: IS IT BAD TO CHOOSE BITCOIN AND BITCOINTLAK FORUM OVER MY GRADUATION CEREMONY? on: July 19, 2018, 01:05:22 PM
Fellow commrades,

My parents think i am a SCAMMER right now because i am always with my laptop and chatting online. I wish i could explain things to them further but it seems they have already taken side just like the haters of the crypto community out there. But come to think of it guys crypto is helping me a lot and this is where my investments are not some white collar job so was it wrong for me to have stayed home and watched over my investments in the crypto community? Please help because my conscience is really making me feel guilty now but I know i did the right thing.
