61  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: "Unfortunately, we did not reach our SoftCap" on: May 08, 2018, 11:05:55 AM
Hello everyone, I'm following the bounty campaign of DigitizeCoin through www.bountyhive.io, this campaign is about to end and when I go to do my work I find this message on the official Twitter account:

"Dear Digitizers, We are happy to see so much support for our project.
Unfortunately, we had only raised 150ETH and did not reach our SoftCap.
All contributors will be refunded. We will be sending out details on how to refund your contributions shortly.
Regards, Team Digitize."

I think many have gone through this situation, this happens recurrently with the bounties campaigns? With which managers? What advice can you provide?

This situation could happen to any Manager. Even companies with a high rating may not collect Soft Cap in the end.

I would also add to all the above tips - check the balance status through third-party sites such as etherscan and do not go to MEW without the need.
63  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO Investor, don’t trust ICO listing sites! on: May 07, 2018, 06:08:08 PM
On the websites of ICO-ratings you can really find new projects and get the first information about them. But I would use only top ratings as recommendations.
64  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: "Hard Cap and Soft Cap" on: May 07, 2018, 05:56:48 PM
I've met a few high-rated projects that didn't have a Soft Cap listed. What would that mean? Is it worth it to pay attention?

It will be interesting to watch your progress. I hope you will achieve your goal.

Hi guys! Someone has already received in the hands of these wonderful device? Write a review, is it worth buying them or not?
67  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Have you tried setting up a Masternode? on: May 06, 2018, 07:48:13 PM
I would be interested to know more about this. Any knowledgeable people? What investments are needed to start?

That's great! I've set up masternodes myself in the past.

There's really only two investments you need to make:

1. Buying the amount of coins required to set up a coin's Masternode.
2. Pay the monthly fee for a VPS (It's not much. Only $5 per month).

Here's a great website with a list of Masternode coins that you can look into >>> masternodes.online

Lastly, if you need help setting it up, there's two options you can take:

1. Ask around a coin's community for help.
2. There's a service called Setup Masternodes that provides 1-on-1 support over the phone or through messaging until your MN is set up. They get it done in as little as 1 hour.

Here's a link to their Bitcointalk thread >>> https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3213738.0

I wish the best of luck to you in the process! Feel free to ask more questions.

Thanks for the reply. And what problems you may encounter when you start masternode? After all, to get a profit you need to analyze the coins and choose the most profitable.
68  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is it better to buy during ICO or Market? on: May 06, 2018, 07:31:10 PM
According to statistics, about 80% of ICO do not reach large exchanges with a large trading volume. The remaining 10-15% are much cheaper than ICO. If you calculate everything correctly, you can buy a promising coin on the exchange is much cheaper than on the ICO.

70  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to gain income from crypto 1k$/month on: May 01, 2018, 07:19:20 PM
On the bounty this amount can be earned only by having a high rank on the forum and participating in a good signature company. On social networks, you need to conduct more than 50 campaigns to reach such earnings.
71  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you do with the rewards you received? on: April 30, 2018, 06:58:58 PM
In most cases, it is a long hold. Everyone who decided to link their lives with cryptocurrencies should be ready for this.
72  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty hunters should be paid in ETH on: April 30, 2018, 06:54:29 PM
I've also met several projects paying an award in ETH or BTC, but this is more of an exception. It seems to me that the project can take such a step if they are confident in the imminent increase in the value of their tokens and it is more profitable for them to pay the award in another currency.
73  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you even read whitepaper bro? on: April 29, 2018, 06:39:11 PM
For those who are planning to invest in the project, be sure to read the Whitepaper. For participants of bounty media companies reading is also necessary, because without reading it is impossible to write a quality article.
74  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Alternative to Myetherwallet on: April 28, 2018, 06:27:09 PM
Another option for safe use is to install the MEW offline application on your computer. You can download it from the official GitHub.
75  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: do you guys pay Taxes for profit? on: April 28, 2018, 06:20:19 PM
I do not pay any taxes because in my country there is no legislation to regulate this type of activity.
76  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best App for Token price tracking on: April 27, 2018, 07:52:43 PM
I use cryptocompare and altpocket to track my tokens. Tried different services, but none tracks 100% of tokens, so I use a few. And recently tokens can be tracked in etherscan, fortunately there was such an opportunity.
77  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you still use MEW? on: April 27, 2018, 07:44:03 PM
I still use MyEtherWallet, but not yet at risk to enter the wallet. To check the balance, I use etherscan.
78  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it normal to wait for 6 months for a bounty reward? on: April 26, 2018, 06:34:57 PM
If these conditions are known from the outset, it is normal. And if the team is cheating investors or bounty hunters, it's shitty. Here's an example Boon project. Who participated in it, he will understand.
79  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: MyEtherWallet hack on: April 25, 2018, 06:47:01 PM
Their official Twitter account says:

It seeds that everything is now back to normal, BUT PLEASE STAY SAFE and read/share this guide: https://myetherwallet.github.io/knowledge-base/security/myetherwallet-protips-how-not-to-get-scammed-during-ico.html
I recommend reading this article.
80  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Good bounty manager. on: April 25, 2018, 06:26:26 PM
Thank you for the selection and interesting discussions. Does anyone know if there's a topic with the worst managers? I have several candidates. ))
