61  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC in 2018 january on: January 07, 2018, 07:03:46 PM
I think bitcoin can reach anywhere between 15000 and 22000 by the end of January, now since it's bitcoin and unpredictable anything is possible although to be quite frank I'm quite surprised by Ethereum performance during January!
62  Economy / Speculation / Re: price of bitcoin in december? on: December 31, 2017, 02:27:09 PM
December happens to have a few holidays "New years Eve" and Christmas, so It's not that surprising that during this month especially near the holidays bitcoin started to dip as people buy others gifts and luxury items, . I'm guessing it will continue to fall till 2018. Lets not forget that the bitcoin fall has a huge snowball effect a lot of newbies into crypto as they get scared and sellout based on their emotions which isn't the way to go.
63  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can bitcoin drop to $3000? on: December 31, 2017, 02:22:55 PM
Happened once couple months ago... so possibly could.

But the way it is growing currently, it may never go down.

That's the crypto market place anyway, you really can't predict too much into the future.
When it happened, bitcoin itself was at around 4000-5000$ but now that it's at around 13000 I highly doubt it.. I still believe 10000$ is a benchmark for a lot of investors.. Although in the end of the day It's bitcoin an unpredictable cryptocurrency.

I think you forgot to add a zero in the title  Tongue
64  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The bitcoiners mentality on: December 31, 2017, 02:17:29 PM
Believe it or not this is actually a good lesson to learn better sooner than later. Also regarding
Instead we should focus more about the development and the technology (SegWit, LN, Schnorr Signatures, Confidential transactions etc.) because at the end of the day, If the development doesn't go any further, the price won't go anywhere either.
I agree I feel like the lightning network will have a positive impact on BTCs price. Lastly It's more than normal for bitcoin to fall I hope the newbies learn about price corrections and educate themselves more about the technology in hand (Blockchain...) and not only look as bitcoin as wallet pump.
65  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why bitcoin so expensive? on: December 31, 2017, 08:31:22 AM
Back in mid 2010 Bitcoin was just a few cents as more people/organizations caught the attention of bitcoin it started to grow especially during this recent year which lead to a lot of demand. It was at around 1000$ this January and now trading over 12k It's a currency the reason It's not like other currencies is because it only has 21 million currently only 16M+ are in circulation. And lets not forget the mining difficulty that requires more hash to mine as more bitcoin are mined also causing the price to increase as miners do not want to lose $ from electricity as mining won't be profitable if electricity costs more than BTC.
66  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will trade under $5,000, warns Dennis Gartman on: December 31, 2017, 08:24:38 AM
I don't think it will go below 10 000 it might for a short period of time, but 5000$? that's too unreasonable. Also he mentioned next 6 months.. if Anything next 6 months it won't be any where near 5000$ feel free to quote me :3
67  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is dropping! what to expect?! on: December 31, 2017, 08:19:54 AM
It could be people wanna cash out on some holiday gifts for their family/loved ones, or some sort of price fix as bitcoin has been on the rise in these past few months. Long term if you hold bitcoin you have nothing to worry about.
68  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcoin community is rising. on: December 17, 2017, 09:28:48 PM
What do you think a about it? is it good or bad for bitcoin?
I think It's good for bitcoin, no such thing as bad publicity.. The more people that hear about bitcoin and how great it's performing the more that end up getting hooked and curious thus joining and increasing the size of the bitcoin community always new money coming in tends to benefit crypto in general not only by price but also by great support!
69  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: This Address just donated 5,057 BTC ( $86 million) to Charity. on: December 17, 2017, 09:22:29 PM
I am not for the "calls for donations" you never know where the money really goes and who manages it behind

Good point! Could even be donating to himself.  Smiley
Possible, but they signed it proving ownership of the address https://live.blockcypher.com/btc/tx/c44ad5f83ddc84d08967c7652311f0a23aafa8e54d7db0911a2c7b5bc20ff988/
Also according to the article in op they have already donated to the past on multiple occasions so I don't see why they would fake it now. Last point I don't think It's a "whale" could be a group of multiple people.
70  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin savings fund for children or grandchildren? on: December 17, 2017, 09:17:58 PM
I would support if it can be done in a decentralized way like the private keys would be stored offline and not touched I also wonder if they would take into account future/past forks since It's inevitable to expect more BTC forks.
71  Economy / Speculation / Re: 30,000 for the brilliant end of 2017? on: December 17, 2017, 09:14:08 PM
I think 30000 seems a bit too high since it would need to gain an extra 50% to reach that however I'd go with 24000 also Bitcoin futures is going to play a slight role on the price of btc might even cause a little pop at first but eventually btc will recover.. It always does
72  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: ▶️🔥▶️[ANN]PLAY. Proof-of-PLAY | MINING-ENDED | CLAIM LAST PLY BY DONATING▶️🔥▶️ on: December 17, 2017, 02:56:15 PM
PLY addition to decentralized platform, there are those platforms that can be exchanged
If you're asking where PLY tokens can be exchanged, then you should check out Etherdelta https://etherdelta.com/#PLY-ETH
or Decentrex https://decentrex.com/#PLY-ETH I'm sure PLY will be listed on more exchanges in 2018!
73  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: [BOUNTY] THRIVE - 4M THRT REWARD | OVER 2M $ 🔥🔥 on: December 10, 2017, 03:06:05 PM
My apologies if this has been asked before, Just curious on when the TGE is scheduled to end?
74  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why Bitcoin is falling ? 9000?!? on: December 10, 2017, 02:55:55 PM
Same drop happened earlier today It went as low as in the 12 thousands but It's back at 15000 now. I guess the price correction was expected as it hit 17000 I wonder if it's going to get corrected tomorrow.
75  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 220k unconfirmed transactions on: December 08, 2017, 06:18:23 PM
Have you tried increasing the transaction fee, transactions which are higher than the capacity of a block get stuck in a queue for confirmation by btc miners and they favor the higher fee payers don't worry though.. eventually your transaction is gonna get confirmed.
76  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if, we advertise bitcoin on T.V.? on: December 08, 2017, 09:41:58 AM
More recognition is always nice I was quite surprised when they mentioned it in the big bang theory and other shows It's nice to see Bitcoin getting more attention! As for advertisements maybe advertise blockchain technology in general
77  Economy / Speculation / Re: Buy low and selling high on different exchanges on: December 08, 2017, 08:12:03 AM
Sending and withdrawing to another exchange costs fees and bitcoins confirmations aren't all that fast.. so by the time your funds arrive the price might have already got corrected on that exchange. What you could do is split your funds between the exchange and do it simultaneously  Wink
78  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can Bitcoin Hit $15,000 before year end on: December 08, 2017, 08:08:03 AM
for now bitcoin is capable of hitting more than $ 15000 and I'm sure that by the end of the year bitcoin can hit at $ 25000. let's see how bitcoin does that
25000 seems a bit too off, but in the end of the day It's bitcoin and unpredictable.. but I'd say 25000 is more than possible in January 2018
79  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will you sell your Bitcoin at $100,000 or what? on: December 03, 2017, 09:38:05 PM
Percentage gains, look for a ROI that suits your needs and wouldn't advice to "Cash out" you can always withdraw a portion and hodl the rest since you never know it might go even higher and by holding you are increasing the value of bitcoin since there is less being offered. : )
80  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: McDonalds to accept Bitcoin by 2018 on: December 03, 2017, 09:28:54 PM
Agreed if they actually do end up accepting Bitcoin as a payment then I'm certain many other big companies will hop on the wagon and do the same thing It will allow more people to know about bitcoin and show the public that it has normal uses other than what the media is painting it to be some sort of dark drug currency. And with more people using btc inevitably would lead to an  increase in price  Grin
