Time to choose the name for Nxt has come, because "Nxt" is a code name. Post here your suggestions and then I will create a poll. Nxt will be added to the list so we still may choose it as the name.

I have an idea to code colored coins with R, G, and B components, a coin with FF00FF code would look as purple in the client. It is a good idea?
While we are collecting bug reports I am working on colored coins. Next week we will see a prototype.

Yes. We continue to collect user base. But now the multiplier is lowered each Bitcoin block.

Welcome to Nxt open beta test. Download client from https://mega.co.nz/#!3pImwbbA!DeQTSC6Yhb5lxRsPYLOh7DF121A5DtZOTDFTUWTQqj8 or go to http://88.198.210.245:7875/. Post here bugs, please.
Download Java Runtime Environment to be able to run the client. Then type "java -cp Nxt.zip Nxt" or "java -cp Nxt.zip Nxt MY_IP_ADDRESS". If you add an address other peers will put it into the known peers list.

I have made a transaction from the transfer address to 19WXPgygiZk2YsrTU9U1nQfLd7oepTuCLc. All transactions will be counted with 300% multiplier. Now the multiplier scales down from 300% to 100% depending on the block height a transaction included into. The block with 100% will be marked by the second spending transaction. All transactions from that point will have 100% multiplier.
Check https://blockchain.info/address/19WXPgygiZk2YsrTU9U1nQfLd7oepTuCLc to make sure I do not move the coins until the genesis block is approved.

I also could be an FBI agent or a group of agents who are developing Nxt to create a honeypot. Why does anyone care if Nxt is an open-source project and can be used in a lot of ways? You should create a separate thread for such speculations.
Back on topic.
I replaced Ed25519 with Curve25519. Now the same public key can be used for signing, encryption and key agreement. This unifies code base simplifying Nxt deployment to micro-devices.

It is very similar to it. # Messaging to describe substances products/send encrypted delivery address # Reputation System to see how reliable a seller is # Two-phase payments to protect buyers
This could be done with Nxt
No, better see here and think would you reveal your identity if you created a system like Nxt...
What if a next Silk Road is hosted on the blockchain? No servers required, no owners existed...

Maybe you answered it before... but why the Anonymity? What can go wrong if you'll say who you are?
Maybe it's a superstition but I'm trying to follow in Satoshi's footsteps.

read first comment..
Anonymous dev = NO .
I'm out..
Lol.. better sell all your BTC than. Maybe he knows who Satoshi Nakamoto is.

Alice can use a mixing service to send bitcoins to the transfer address. Bob could use the same service as well. Taint analysis will show their sending addresses match, because they both used the same shared wallet. Right?
Is it possible to get a false positive if someone uses bitfog as well? Both payments will go from the same shared address, am I right?
Yes, you can. That is why the cap of 1 BTC was set.
You can send more than one transaction. How do you know a user will not send more than once? Taint analysis.
My stake is/will be 1 BTC worth. I will not get any NXT for free.
P.S. We are still too far from desired 250 users. Maybe we will attract more people after I show colored coins in action...
