Good advice! I( have found the same thing. Good ICO's can be a great investment. One has to be very careful however. I am. I am currently now only in Bitcoin and 3 selecfted ICO's.

Sad to say this but right now - the prize would have to go to ATS. Not good press for them. I still think its a good project. But a lesson to any ICO should be to carefully think out the bounty program - it could turn out to be deadly.

I also participated in the Australian Power Ledger crowdsale. This is where ALT coins are going. It is the new method of venture capital being raised where everyone is able to benifit. Not just the rich.

If an ICO offers a dividend - it will instantly be classified as a "share". This means its a security and not a cryptocurrency. 99% of all countries have "securities laws" in place. That ICO then will automatically fall under those laws if it offers a dividend.

The main reson for this is that ETH is used on almost every single ICO.
Unfortunately when the ICO moves from crowdsale to a platform - its neccessary to "cash in" the majority of the Ether. Hence the stable price.

I looked at this very briefly. I decided to stay away.
I have noticed however that about 4 weeks ago most of the signatures on this forum were advertising them.
This no longer seems to be the case.

There is good and bad.
I really do beleive that 99% of ICO's have good intentions.
Bad planning makes them fail - nothing else.

You can have the most amazing product in the world - but - without marketing it WILL fail.
Marketing is probably the most important part of any ICO.

ICO's are the new form of venture capital. Why should the rich get richer only, by being able to be venture capitalists.
Its never a bad time to invest in an ICO. Just be careful - like every thing in life - there is good and there is bad.

Not good to read. I just hope its about really wanting to help the citizen's and not political manipulation to keep control.
