Which is the best pool currently?

I have tried altexc, cipherpool and homeunix but all of them seems to be overloaded.

altexc and cipherpool takes time to get your coins and see the correct stats. homeunix seems to have some issues, giving no coins currently.

Is there any way to see the total network hashpower?

Running the "getmininginfo" command in the client does not show this.

There is probably more than one reason. One could be that Chinese "Baidu" (announced earlier today, which caused the sudden drop, but went back up again) stopped accepting bitcoin together with the news about China "banning" banks from using bitcoin a few days ago. It is also weekend now and during the weekends the price usually go down a little bit.

But the prices are not only going down. Its going up and down. I believe the reason for that is since there is also a few "good" news such as the bank of america report or South Korea Central bank news.

I believe Quark is more "secure". As it uses many different (6) algorithms instead of just using 1.

For me they have always deposited within 4 days. I have read about the people waiting 2-3 weeks but it has never happened me, which is strange but good I guess I do not think you need to be worried even though its very bad service that it takes so long for some.
