61  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Time to be cautious: Everyone is not market expert on: February 11, 2024, 05:58:20 PM
Talking yet about Influencers, many of them are not even part or wanting to invest their personal money into such projects but where just paid to carry out promotions making it look worth purchasing to many investors.
I bet many has something to say, those who fell victim of these market Influencers or market experts, we are all humans and can never be perfect when it comes to predictions and assumptions.
That's true, and the job of influencers is to promote or introduce projects to the public. As long as they promote a project honestly it doesn't matter to me, what is a problem is when they deliberately provide fake news to attract the attention of investors. You can't trust them 100% because what deserves to be trusted is your own research.
We need to conscious how we put money on different investment because the market is very volatile except we are in the to hold for a king time and that will depend on the project we are holding. The crypto market can be studied so we can know when to invest and when to take our funds waiting for when next to start investing.

Sometimes I just wonder why many investors and traders are always after looking for signals and how to invest in the cryptocurrency market. There are even influencers that like promoting nee projects whether it's scam or not, they don't care and always want their followers to get the coin or tokens even when they don't have any holdings in such a project.
Most often, they pursue a hidden, but very banal motive - receiving money from the project for advertising. If they are involved in the project, then such promotion takes place using their referral link. Their messages should be taken only as a source of some information and be sure to double-check it.
62  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is ERC-404 the New Narrative? on: February 11, 2024, 12:27:50 PM
To be honest this project is interesting with its technology and can be directly related to NFTs with a 1:1 ratio, but it has been confirmed that ERC 404 is an experiment and too dangerous for those of you who like to invest in safer projects, maybe we can say that ERC404 is a new narrative or not but if it is just an experiment it is not a good choice for your investment, but if you are a person who has courage and wants to try your luck on experimental projects the success rate is 50:50, if this experiment is successful it will certainly be a new narrative in this cycle and you will get a very large return, but vice versa, if this project is annulled failed and not accepted by the market then you will lose your money if you invest in experimental projects.
In fact, 1:1 is one of the possible states of the ERC-404. More interesting is the principle of francionalization, in which one NFT is split into a large number of tokens. They tried to use a similar project on Solana - fraktion.art - but, as we can see from the dead site and Twitter, the project failed. But ERC-404 certainly gave impetus to the development of similar projects. SyncSwap yesterday launched a “wrapped” ERC-404 for Libertas Omnibus.
63  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is ERC-404 the New Narrative? on: February 10, 2024, 04:18:09 PM
Why not? At their core, only stable tokens should remain in their current form (ERC20/BEP20/TRC20/etc.), so to speak, be impersonal. The remaining tokens may already bear traces of individuality and have additional functions. An apt analogy here is the evolution of the landline phone to the smartphone. Another thing to note is the Smart Layer Network with its Smart Cats (ERC-5169 + xNFT). And therefore, a unified standard for such token-NFTs should be developed.
Encouraging innovation is good but onboarding it via the proper processes is also important. That's why I feel it might pose a risk on etheruem ecosystem atm but once audited and given the nod, I would explore it and also consider buying pandora.
Of course, this is how it should be. For now, the ERC-404 standard is unofficial. In addition, there is an opinion that contracts using ERC-404 (including Pandora) may contain a vulnerability due to which the owners of tokens (parts of the NFT) can “steal” the original NFT.

65  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Zeta Chain - What is Your Opinion ? on: February 09, 2024, 02:26:41 PM
It is another interoperable blockchain with primary focus on Ethereum. Is this another Ethereum killer or something else, polkadot came with the same USP, right? Look at their condition as they have lost the hype. If they plan to grow their ecosystem then only they can achieve something like Solana has been able to do recently.

I think its a layer 2 blockchain of eth so it won't be right to call it Ethereum killer as all the eth layer 2 generally serve eth mainnet. It's just their their approach to make eth more scalable. But its true that all the layer 2 of ethereum will not get the market dominance and will eventually die but right now a lot of hype is cooking around them so for now we can not say which one is going to take the layer 2 narrative crown. But it seems gas fees becomes a major factor for all the layer 2 of ETH.
That’s right, L2 chains were originally conceived to unload L1 by means of increase the TPS and reducing the fees. Therefore, L2 are unlikely to die in the direct sense; perhaps they will evolve into the ERC/EIP for the main chain. After all, already in March, the Deneb update should reduce the size of the fees.
66  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: whats the new narrative? on: February 08, 2024, 07:18:35 PM
what's the latest narrative circulating in the crypto space these days?
I don’t know if it can be called a narrative, but it can be called an event that will entail consequences. We are talking about ERC-404 and Pandora. Just as the hype around the inscriptions on various chains cooled down a little, we got a new product that tries to combine both a coin and an NFT. The concept is very interesting and for some time there will definitely be projects developing this area for profit.
67  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Notcoin mining on: February 08, 2024, 07:07:52 PM

The miners and I discussed these coins and one of the popular opinions was to buy TON.
The latest projects in Telegram such as click mining Notcoin or GRAM mining on video cards are increasing the influx of new people into the TON community.
Buying/mining the native token of any new promising chain is the right decision. Clicking NOT is actually free and this is attractive, but according to the current opinion, the team has delayed the implementation of the project. Of course, it is possible that they themselves have not yet fully worked out tokenomics and the mechanism for converting notcoin-points into real tokens on the TON chain.
In the chats of the community of this coin, information appeared that the project is negotiating with a very large exchange for listing. The TON project has money for this and Pavel Durov is involved in popularizing the project. But I don’t see the value of this coin and I think that miners will sell their billions of coins at the first opportunity.
Yes, while clicking NOT is no different from mining dozens of other aimless projects. The utility of the product as a whole is unclear - in principle it cannot replace TON and is not a full-fledged game. Of course, it will be released on a major exchange and we will most likely see the classic “pump-dump” scheme.
68  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Zeta Chain - What is Your Opinion ? on: February 06, 2024, 04:52:37 PM
~ There are already at least three exchangers - Abstradex, Izumi, Eddy. But there are still problems with the availability of the project’s website due to the large influx of users.

Man do a little research,  zeta is trading on all major exchange except binance.
Here is list of exchanges trading zeta - Okx, Gate, Bingx, Bybit, Kucoin, Coinbase, Mexc, Bitfinex, Htx, Bitget, Bitmart, Uniswap and more.
Only few coins get listed on Coinbase the very first day of them launching. Take note.
I wrote about exchanges from the Zetachain ecosystem, and not about the exchanges on which the ZETA coin is traded. And Binance has not been an indicator for some time; he makes enough unpopular decisions to be able to work in US jurisdiction; some of its users have already left for smaller and shrewder, but loyal exchanges.
69  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: XMR Zcash and other private coins are getting delisted from binance on: February 06, 2024, 04:43:47 PM
This just means that Cex will cooperate with authorities and dont want to be associated with privacy coins either due to regulations. Well thats how it goes. Its not like its the end of the world for monero and other privacy coins. There are other people who love their tech and will continue to use that anyway.

I dont hold any privacy coins but this is a grave news as it can be seen on the downfall of the price right away.
You made the right conclusion why delisting is happening. But I’ll add on the rest. Of course, this is not the end for anonymous cryptocurrencies, but their cost is also very important. After all, the cost is determined not only by the utility of the coin, but also by the ability to trade it as an asset to benefit. Purely technically, user A will send user B, for example, 1 XMR without any problems. But the cost of 1 XMR today is already lower than it was yesterday. That is, I want to say that this will affect settlements such anonymous cryptocurrencies. After all, this is not a stablecoin that is pegged to the US dollar.
70  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Zeta Chain - What is Your Opinion ? on: February 05, 2024, 08:39:55 PM
I think distributing tokens after listing is also a strategy to increase traffic and attract more people.
but if it is announced like this, users with more money will get a bigger portion. I always avoid things like this because it won't be worth it.
About traffic and new users: the XP campaign has already identified a bottleneck that does not manifest itself during the testnet. It turned out to be a problem with the RPC which could not cope with the load. At the moment there are problems with displaying the ZETA balance, the inability to confirm transactions, and overpriced fees.
By the way, a similar problem is observed on Berachain testnet.
I know berachain but i didn't know ZETACHAIN.
So i search on CMC to know more
https://www.zetachain.com/
The website is new and it's L1 blockchain which support EVM and cosmos
Yes, Zetachain provides all the current features of L2 chains: swap tokens, liquidity pools, staking, low fees. The project ecosystem is developing quite successfully. There are already at least three exchangers - Abstradex, Izumi, Eddy. But there are still problems with the availability of the project’s website due to the large influx of users.

73  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If a addict lives within, which method would you choose to help them on: February 02, 2024, 06:40:13 PM
Which do you think it's best? Some people do think that been soft and gentle will be more effective and some people think that been harder on them is the real love here, they need to make them stop by force.
You have answered your question yourself, in other words it depends on the addicted person. If you know him personally, you know which method you should use to help him. Some people may use both to know which one will give more effects so I think there is no best between these 2 methods because soft method may work for some people but gentle method may work for some others.
You can only try to replace gambling with another source of serotonin/dopamine. Psychological help alone will not help and family members can only indirectly influence the situation. If all else fails, then you just need to quit such a gambling addict.
74  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum will still be my choice this year. on: February 01, 2024, 05:16:40 PM
Ethereum is a good choice to keep on holding and accumulating when possible. I don't think a lot of investors would be making good profit unless they have be holding it from 2011 or they have invested in it before 2021. If not then there are other coins like Ethereum that are showing positive sign in the market. Like you said BNB which is backed by the biggest exchange in the world. Recently Solana started doing good and it is still a cheap if compared to Ethereum and BNB in price and the team is doing great with its development and marketing. I would be focusing on these three crypto before the bull run as they have the potential to explode.
Now you can compare the cost of a fairy between ETH and BNB, the latter is more profitable. In this case, I prefer BNB/OpBNB and zkSync - small fees and the speed of the network itself. But of course, this year ETH will remain the leader among roll-ups/L2 networks based on it. And after the adoption of the new EIP/ERC, fees should decrease in the main ETH network.

Be sure to familiarize yourself with the white paper of the project Smiley

For such mining, you can use old phones, although the coin is not yet traded on exchanges and it is not clear what will happen to the listing.
Do you play notcoin mining?

I think this is a trap. From their Twitter account, they joined Twitter in November 2023. Then I saw that their White Paper was all empty. There is no explanation about their mission at all. In fact, there is absolutely no information that can be read in their White Paper. I think the data on their website is just numbers to tricking the peoples. There's a big possibility this is a scam. It's better to just ignore a project like this than waste your time.
If you have a separate phone, then I see no reason to be afraid. The project cannot be a scam or a trap, because they are not selling anything, and clicking on the phone is a long joke.
Soon this joke will end and we will find out what the reward will be.

Claiming tokens may be paid - hence there may be some concerns among project participants. In addition, there were tasks in which it was necessary to have a TON balance or a certain number of other tokens (ARBUZ). But I don’t think that there will be problems with the project in terms of fraud, because they also include paid Telegram services in the competitions.
76  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: bullish 2024 ! on: January 31, 2024, 02:40:10 PM
Currently many new projects with large funding raised are listed and it can be said that they are big projects because after listing some of them entered the top 50 of CMC. examples include APTOS ARBITRUM and SUI.
I mean, does the emergence of many new projects like this indicate that bullish is getting closer? What do you think ?
This only indicates an eternal desire to make money. New projects appear (announced, developed) in any market (bull/bear). But they are almost always launched in a bull market in order to have a greater reach of interested investors; mostly small investors aimed at making a profit from the resale of project tokens. After all, financing rounds take a certain time and it is quite difficult to predict in which market they will take place.
77  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: stop the unnecessary blame on gambling whenever you get unlucky on: January 30, 2024, 07:24:29 PM

A lot of people have been clamoring about how gambling has ruined their life but same gambling has set some people up for life, just like every other form of investment there must always be a profit or a loss.  And life is so balanced that what works for Mr A might not be the same that works for Mr B. Likewise in gambling,  while some are crying about thier loss they are some who are smiling and celebrating their win.

Gambling has been seen as a very dangerous thing base on some people's point of view here in the forum whereas in reality it has given some people the capital to start what ever business they want to do. My point in this post is that we shouldn’t just paint gambling all black because some people have fail to stick to the discipline of gambling.

I believe that before one make a decision in life, they should've already weighed the consequences of making the right or wrong choice, then put their fate on luck coupled with their little knowledge concerning what they're about to decide on, so why complain and play the blame game when things go wrong? "Share your thought on how gambling has come through for you if you got any".
In this case, gambling is “Schrödenger’s cat” - it is both bad and good at the same time. Gambling is, first and foremost, a game in which you enjoy the process. Some people make them their hobby, others their work (a means of earning money). But ludomania is already a very specific disease, a deviation. Condemnation of gambling and “imaginary” help for game addicts is the lot of hypocrites.
78  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BRC20 NARRATIVE IS SLOWLY TAKING OVER AS WE BUILD UP TO HALVING on: January 29, 2024, 06:58:21 PM
BRC20 are bunch of garbage on Bitcoin network. They are just normal DeFi projects and meme coins that implement on Bitcoin network while there’s bunch of it existing on other network.

This is not new and the only thing that makes this project hype is because Bitcoin currently on hype due to ETF and Halving event. People that investing on this bullcrap what the shithole they enter once whales that playing them starts to use them as an exit liquidity. Just like DeFi on Ethereum hype before, This madness will be over once there’s no new liquidity flowing in their ponzi like projects.
A few weeks ago, Bitcoin dev Luke Dashjr proposed updating Bitcoin to remove the BRC-20 token but was met with fierce opposition, perhaps because Miners did not want to give up the huge transaction fees from Inscription. Now that the Halving is coming, the market's attention is on the Halving, not the worthless Inscription. I believe that Inscription will soon be forgotten on Bitcoin and other blockchains in the uptrend, only a few truly outstanding tokens like ORDI will still exist because of being listed on major CEXs.
But as long as BRC-20 brings money, it won’t go anywhere. On the contrary, other protocols for transferring fungible tokens to BTC are being developed, such as Counterparty, Taproot, Omni and others. Even Rodarmor himself is busy creating a new protocol based on UTXO, with the idea that this will help avoid cluttering the BTC network as in the case of BRC-20.
79  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: How to Mine Dunduck Cryptocurrency: A Guide to Mining Using the Ghostrider Algo on: January 29, 2024, 02:38:46 PM
wallet not syncing
Most likely you need to add nodes to the .conf file for successful synchronization - https://explorer.dunduck.com/network "Add Nodes" tab. This is a typical problem for DASH/BTC cli-wallets clones. Although I don’t understand why you need this project, unless for educational purposes or for the future - the first block was found almost 2 months ago, there are more profitable (already traded on exchanges) CPU-mined coins. I don’t want to say anything bad about DunDuck, but I think that at best it will only be listed on XeggeX.
80  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Is NOMP project dead? on: January 28, 2024, 05:23:48 PM
It’s hard to call NOMP a dead project, it’s just old. zone117x occasionally makes changes to the repository, most recently 9 months ago. Try Meter.io's NOMP implementation https://github.com/meterio/nomp or V(S,Z)-NOMP, it is more “fresh's”.
