61  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you feel like quitting? on: August 10, 2018, 04:48:08 PM
Naturally people would feel it this way. Prices had gotten so low and so long that the market had fallen very bad. If you say no, then that is your decision. But we should also respect how others think the best move would be. Risk is always there in anything that we do and it is how we solve it. Being brave sometimes isn't enough and running away may not mean cowardice at all. It is doing whatever best and appropriate that often matters and not just how one looks into the eyes of another. We have rights and hence be respected. We have the same thoughts and I am holding coins as well, and even if I am losing, that doesn't count that much to me because I am a believer same as you are.
62  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Tom Lee Says Bitcoin ‘Isn’t Broken.’ Actual Events Prove Him Right on: August 10, 2018, 11:42:21 AM
I believe him. Bitcoin will survive all these pressure right now. So many are talking about its end which I think is not the case as we could observe that bitcoin is still even at the top of all other cryptocurrency. Even ethereum had the chance of surpassing bitcoin during this bad market but not even other coins nor ethereum who ranked always second have not been able to dethroned it. Notice its dominance and rethink. Bitcoin will still be the king of cryptocurrency and soon it will go up again in price.
63  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptocurrency is a revolution and an evolution of finance on: August 09, 2018, 02:04:51 PM
Its a great history and it seems to have a related situatuion with the currenct cryptocurrency. I could have agreed all that you have said but not that part when you tell that money can be printed  unlimited. And that the basis of what is gold for the money had been lost due to this innovation. While it is good to hear about this but I think you miss the point about printing the paper money. It is not  just actually printing endlessly. Printed Money has to be monitored and paired with the actual and available resources otherwise there would be economic imbalance. The government has to control its creation.
64  Economy / Economics / Re: Blockchain and Medicine in Africa on: August 08, 2018, 10:28:02 PM
I think this may have some good result to make transactions faster in giving health care to the african people. Money is always a consideration when buying products and when payment systems will use blockchain or cryptocurrency I think it will be a lot easier for them. How about making it experimental so that when it will have good results certainly it will be then made possible to most parts of africa needing healthcare.
65  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is now a good time to buy Eth? on: August 08, 2018, 09:49:41 PM
I noticed today that the price was really going down and you are asking what others might have asked today. Will today might just be the answer and I would say you never missed the boat since the price was even sinking very low and you will have greater opportunities now to invest on ethereum or some other coin and it will never be too late. Goodluck!
66  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it possible to have bitcoin shortage? on: August 07, 2018, 04:50:44 AM
I think so, it will certainly happen if all in the world will participate. The billions of coins is not even enough for all of us given that the entire world population will go into cryptocurrency. But for now it is very questionable since not all are really into cryptocurrency like bitcoin. And because there are only a few stores opening with bitcoin as payments and other utilities for bitcoin. Yet I am still hoping maybe someday when people will learn how valuable bitcoin will be in the future then that will be the time.
67  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Computer virus used to steal cryptos? on: August 06, 2018, 08:32:36 AM
That news is nothing new. When bitcoin was not even so popular there was also a computer virus they call ransomware that would encrypt files so that you can no longer access it and in order to ipen it they will be asking you some bitcoin for you to open your files back. I just don't know if it still exist until today but I think it had made a lot of bitcoin for itself. Getting rich was simple in that way but I don't ever think it was a good way.
68  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are investors got tired of ICOs? on: August 06, 2018, 01:49:06 AM
Certainly you I think you are correct. ICOs have a lot of problem. Because many don't even have good encouraging and useful products or service to sell, they just found themselves dropping in value if they are  successful. Others who have not sold as much coin fail before completing the project. Scams are also taking part which lessens investors out of fear. So the result ICOs keep coming in but investors are getting low which will result into more failure. I believe new changes or upgrades to the system of cryptocurrency will bring the life of cryptocurrency investments.
69  Economy / Economics / Re: stupidity is so close to poverty on: August 04, 2018, 03:11:33 PM
I don't even want to call them stupid because I know how bad it is to be discriminated. Had it not happen that they are not poor then nobody might have been so rich. Imagine a world where everyone is rich, how one might be considering himself? Would he be so happy to call himself rich? Maybe not at all. Yet I still respect your ideas if you do believe such afterall we have different beliefs.

70  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will bitcoin Die because of global Regulations? on: August 03, 2018, 06:14:10 AM
The term global regulation you mean is quite broad to be disregarded. So for me I think that there will be a greater effect to the situation the bitcoin market is now in. There was not a global regualation for now and yet the market goes down. How much more will we see if there would be more pressure from the government? Certainly I think it is not good for bitcoin.
71  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to Choose a Good ICO on: August 02, 2018, 04:28:56 PM
Well for me the best source for information on ICOs would be their white paper. Their plans and the way there project should work are the most important aspects to look at. Second personal research done through the internet would be a good source of information about it. But beware there are so many fake informations posted just to create better sales. Try to check their contract address for sales if they have sold coins already. That will help in the analysis you will be doing.
72  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin down ( Mt. Gox is dumping ) on: August 02, 2018, 03:38:52 AM
Bitcoin had reach around 5000$ which I think was the bottom. But with not much usage or demand I think it could go even lower. The fall of bitcoin becomes more like a natural reaction after it had made so much progress when its value goes up very fast. In time when bitcoin usage will be greater there will be a possibility for it to go up again maybe higher than its all time high.
73  Economy / Economics / Re: hackers becoming smarter than exchanges? on: August 01, 2018, 11:48:11 PM
Hackers are really taking so much time and effort to steal large amounts of money in cryptocurrency, no wonder these large exchanges could not hold as much to prevent hacking. And you maybe right about it, they might have bypassed the security systems of the Exchange before they were able to upgrade it. They are innovative and experts so there are always a potential threat from these hackers. But I know for certain that these can be blocked if they would upgrade their sysytems and hire more experts to monitor attempts of hacking.
74  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it normal to wait for 6 months for a bounty reward? on: August 01, 2018, 06:42:12 AM
Most ICO projects have problems with the fall of the market. There are other problems as well like hacking, regulation and a lot of things that doesn't sound so good to the ears of the investors. So ad a result campaigns took a little longer and some even failed to pay bounty hunters. Now the only one who thinks bounty campaigns are worth and those who persevere have continued. Many left the campaigns which they think are not anymore profitable.
75  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Keep safe your Bitcoin from hacker on: July 31, 2018, 03:16:38 PM
Since hacking starts from the computer unit you are working with, then I think it would be best to log in and log out only on the computer that you are using to access your bitcoin account and only use it for that purpose and not on anything specially when accessing other sites. Should you search the internet, use another computer.
76  Economy / Economics / Re: What would happen to banks? on: July 30, 2018, 06:56:38 AM
Nothing will ever happen to banks. Many of the banks especially those rural banks have survived due to the loans that their customers have made. When doing loans for whatever purpose would too risky for an individual if made through cryptocurrency because of the volatility of the digital coins. What if a person stores his money as a digital currency and then all of a sudden in just minutes everything goes dropping say about a half? How do you think will it benefit the user or holder? So I guess cryptocurrency is more effecient as a payment system and not as a bank not unless some adjustments to the system will be imposed like no dropping of values or bought as is and can be sold higher, but i think this is really impossible. So for now I don't think banks will be closed or whatever something bad could happen.
77  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto is For Risk Takers on: July 30, 2018, 06:13:42 AM
If you mean business in cryptocurrencies then you would be somebody who takes the risks. If you are not a risk-taker then you will lose all opportunities that could have gotten you to success. Well it is a good idea and an advantage not to lose any of your investments but you can get greater opportunities if you just stick to what you have known. Everything is a gamble in cryptocurrencies and the moment you are in is the time you should forget about whatever it is to happen with your investments. That is how you should be thinking to avoid too much pressure due to the volatility of these coins as observed more often. Perhaps there are no better way than planning it all.
78  Economy / Economics / Re: Why do older people like investing in Gold/Silver? on: July 29, 2018, 06:48:22 AM
This cannot be so questionable since you are talking about the oldest form of money. Precious metals existed long ago and has since then been made a reference to once greatness and wealth. When you have more gold or silver then you can be like a king who can bought anything. Now maybe the younger generation have a new gold, bitcoin which is rather more imaginary yet valuable as it is in digital form. The old ones treasure their own gold while us we have this new technological golds to use.
79  Economy / Economics / Re: Charity Accepting Bitcoins? on: July 28, 2018, 09:00:10 PM
It is good if charitable institutions will be accepting bitcoins as payment. If I do have some money in the form of cryptocurrency, I may as well give some. But I have to make sure I am giving it to the right institution. We do often hear about so much corruption anywhere so there is a need to give it to the right one. As to your second question, I do not think fiat currency will disappear and only cryptocurrency will dominate everything. Remember that fiat currency is something the government controls to ascertain that the economy will not fall and create a lot of problems. While cryptocurrency is good to use but its system which makes it volatile is not good for making the economy stable enough. It cannot be controlled like fiat currency, so I think a country may not be using it as a replacement.
80  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why do you sell your coins? on: July 28, 2018, 03:45:39 PM
I might be asking you why did you hold your coins? If it is for gain or profit and not just for any actual use, then you might be answering the same. The reason why people are selling in any of these situations is that they wanted to gain. Many are doing day trading and during times when the market is not good or is low they sell their coins in the fear that they might just lose a lot. For a long term holder this may not always be the case. As you are holding it long enough so that it might have a greater prices after several years. SO their is really a lot of difference between day trading and holding for long term. The goal is to gain profit but the methods may just be the opposite. We need skills on these so better not follow day traders. They know what they are doing so let's just understand them.
