61  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How safe it is to download the blockchain from a torrent? on: October 29, 2017, 06:52:29 PM
torrent they are used to spread of  kind network information blockchain communicate into network nodes via peer to peer storing information in the data i don't think it safe blockchain and torrent to combine to each other because have different function.
Yes you are right at your own side but I want to say this that there is many ways to which anyone can download Blockchain but here the option which has been mentioned is torrent and I know why because torrents is advance and safe way to download anything on the internet and also the most popular option is.

When you are using a torrent you have to verify the download afterwards. When you are using the client directly you can verify while you download, thats why the pure download speed is not as important.
62  Local / Anfänger und Hilfe / Re: hilfe fur Bitcoin core 0.15.01 on: October 29, 2017, 06:48:00 PM

63  Local / Anfänger und Hilfe / Re: Passphrasen problem on: October 29, 2017, 06:30:43 PM
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=170694.0

#2 wende dich an Dave

Well I would consider myself inactive, mostly. I am also not sure what having the list would accomplish if there is no action taken anyway. If my low number of posts is a problem, just let me know. I cant judge whether or not the few stickies and popular posts I have are valueable enough to keep paying me.
Sorry to jump in like an uninvited guest but people like you are the type of members who actually deserve to get paid for their signatures considering your contribution to the forum. If you were to be accepted in any of the campaigns that I would manage,I'd simply pay you for being active regardless you reach the minimum post count or not.Look at the amount of paid shit posters around,I can't digest the fact they're paid to do so while the good contributors are left out.

Thanks for the compliment, but this is still a business deal. If my contribution isnt worth what Im paid its perfectly fine to kick me out.

Fair enough. Maybe you should suggest a review or clean up or ask to be given access to remove people? I'm sure there's some users who aren't even posting at all but are just sitting back and collecting payment. Do you have a full list of users who are on the campaign?
I have a full list and if needed can be given upon request via PM. Either you or Shorena may request it. I have requested access to remove every neg trusted user as well as 1 nut who's posting 200+ posts per week. 50% of the participants are inactive accounts or banned

This thread should be pinned at the top.  Smiley

There is an old meta thread requesting this to be stickied, it was declined. I doubt asking again would yield a different answer.

Big thanks to everyone helping out here, verifying messages and answering questions.

I wish I had something to do with the participants in this campaign, but Namworld has handpicked everyone. Including many with neg trust. I have tried to get them to remove a few users but so far he has not.

Well, you suggested some. I guess with the way the campaign works a ban wouldnt help.
71  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin Gold Electrum support on: October 29, 2017, 12:49:37 PM
Electrum Gold released (edit)electrum-gold.org

CAUTION

Above mentioned wallet is not "official electrum wallet".
Personaly I'm very sceptical about it as to me it looks like the author is just trying to take advatage of well known "electrum wallet" to lure people (what other reason could be to name it like that ??)
Use at your own risk.

EDIT: @CryptoVinny - it's your first and only post  Cheesy ..  Im pretty sure you are the author ... nice try, but next time try to find better way to make money then from scamming others.
Now GTFO.

Likely a scam indeed. Bitcoingold.org does not show any electrum variant as wallet and the site linked above links to at first glance shady pages that ask you to "import" your private keys/seeds. For some reason they require you to have a current bitcoin (BTC) balance, which is bullshit. You just needed to have a BTC balance for block 491406 in order to have BTG now.

Haha, from all the scams I've seen this must've been one of the easiest ones to spot.

That said; on claiming Bitcoin Gold: I thought the split had already occurred, but from what I gather from here -> https://medium.com/@coinomi/collecting-your-free-bitcoin-gold-btg-coins-da937d4255d1 (message from Coinimi wallet on Medium) 25 October was mere the moment the snapshot of the BTC network was taken. The actual split won't happen until the 1st of November.

I'm guessing, after that date, one might simply download the Coinimi wallet and import your Electrum keys into it to claim the Bitcoin Gold?

Yeah, thats my understanding as well. You can (and should!!) move your BTC first though as - as you said - the split already happened and BTG has replay protection.
72  Local / Anfänger und Hilfe / Re: Transaktion hängt fest? Was tun wenns klemmt. on: October 29, 2017, 12:36:52 PM

74  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Lauda/TMAN/minifrij extortion attempt on: October 13, 2017, 07:27:37 PM
Considering the way you've behaved, people which you support, and everything you've done in the meantime, you do not deserve anyone answering any of your requests. You very well know what you did, and if you do not then you should not be in DT to begin with.1

Again, feel free to share the accusation openly or with the admins that put me on DT and ask them for my removal.

This is how you threat those that receive a rating from you, usually added with some bad memes and mockery.
Damn, those memes hurt a lot / totally don't make people laugh. Roll Eyes

The point is that you dont take those you give negative ratings seriously, when they try looking for answer, you mock them. You can mock me all you want, I dont care. Well obviously I care enough to read up every few weeks and to have left you a rating.

Which is why you got the rating from me, you still bully people, be it not with extortions but with more subtle ways.
Talk about validity of ratings and support for freedom of speech. +1. Smiley

Freedom of speech does not apply here, neither you nor I are governments. Well, at least I aint, maybe you consider yourself a state nowadays.

[1] I tend to have a nice eye for changes, occasionally.

Which has nothing to do with reality / could not be further from the truth. Some people do not deserve a proper conversation from me, such as the case with OP. Others are always welcome and treated properly via the proper communication channels.

You are starting to turn into QS.

I have always prefered open communictaion over PMs. 3rd post, you still didnt answer me, yet still say you would as long as I behave like you want me to. This is not how communications works. This is how you threat those that receive a rating from you, usually added with some bad memes and mockery. Which is why you got the rating from me, you still bully people, be it not with extortions but with more subtle ways. Talking to you makes no sense, talking to those giving you power makes no sense and the rest of the community is behind you as well. I said above what this would lead to.

I assume I will be dragged into this next so here is my answer...no need for a special Blazed thread  Cool

You assume correct:

A thread regarding Blazed is forthcoming is Lauda is not removed from his trust list.

Thanks for posting what I knew you would though. I probably should just accept that you will not see this differently.

Really like how you did the verification via a URL like that, been looking for a service that would allow such a thing rather than having to upload a screenshot. Will definitely be using this service from now on. Thanks for sharing =)

You shouldnt... its broken, stupid people keep using it regardless.

Code:
-----BEGIN BITCOIN SIGNED MESSAGE-----
This is shorena from bitcointalk.org and today is 2017.08.23
coinig is a broken biece of shit and there is no one to contact for a fix.

-----END BITCOIN SIGNED MESSAGE-----

As far as i know, coinig have problem to verify 2 rows and more signature messages.
So use other service to verify it

Yes, thats the one I was able to confirm, its possible that they have problems with other symbols as well. Thus I would consider them broken and unreliable and would never used them. If you use it as your first method and it works, does it mean that it actually works or did you just find another problem and dont realize?
