Arbitrage is possible, but a lot more profitable while exploiting the altcoin market pairs rather than the fiat pairs. The best way to do arbitrage is by finding certain trends on one market between two exchanges, it could be LTC/BTC between Cryptsy and BTC-E etc. While analyzing and finding such trends, you just make sure you have big enough buffer on each market in each coin to cover the withdrawal fees (+ your profit %) when you need to balance the two exchange funds. Sure enough, the bigger buffer you can afford, the longer time between balancing which will boost your profit %, since you'll have to pay less withdrawal fees. Trading volume is also extremely important while analyzing the market for trends. No volume = no profit, regardless the arbitrage percentage.
At the moment I'm setting up a site, which will showcase arbitrage opportunities on more than 50 market pairs between 13 exchanges, totaling over 500 arbitrage calculations showed in real-time. Stay tuned!

This is the second post with the same topic from you - stop spamming. If people want to know alt coin trends they can look at the historical charts. Your attempts at price manipulation is pathetic at best. I was an outspoken advocate of the opportunities to invest in the altcoins back in the spring. That was then, and this is now. You can read all of my past posts, if you doubt me. And I encountered alot of filthy, foul mouthed, extremely rude people on these forums, who were extremely pessimistic at the time. But had they listend to me, and acted, then perhaps they are wealthy now. But now I am telling you, that the altcoins are overpriced, and I am getting flak from you? You're incompetent by stating that all altcoins are overpriced in general, it's absolutely non-sense. |

i cant deposit or withdraw tagcoin and cents ... btc worked yesterday and dtc was moved today with no problem. So it is only some coins that are down. Cent is now down for nearly a month ... they should fix this now or loose customers. Their support is as horrible as any other one. Support? What support?

Personally I've never experienced any withdrawal issues with BTER, actually one of the best exchanges if you ask me, though their API seems to be delayed sometimes, but nothing compared to Cryptsy API and Cryptsy in general, they suck big time.

Just a reminder to those who has pennies caught up in that market, it seems like they're still keeping the CENT/XPM market open though.
The possibility of trading CENT keeps shrinking since BTER still doesn't allow depositing. Maybe it's time to cut your losses in CENT and get out while you still can..
