Im very exited to see what happens when this coin hits exchanges.
270 000 000 premine. So far very little has been given away.
Still early for drawing any sort of conclusions. We shall see...
Wow that much was premined? Crazy.
But the admitted it in the launch post. I cannot really understand, why they don't make it transperent.
Premined coins:
76293784 EAC give away in this thread:

200,000 bounty for xy given to creating the webpage.
link
100,000 bounty for abc for creating earthaddress.org
link
and so on
-------------------------------
totally given away: 34,692,343,343
still available for give away and bounties: 123,232,343
-> then nobody could say, it is a scam. When I create my coin, I would do it like this!
This is a serious issue, EAC will forever have the label of a premine coin. Without transparency, EAC supporters will endlessly have to defend the premine.
EAC could become a leader in the field if they chose to disclose where the premine funds are allocated.
But considering the premine coin track record, supporters should expect the worst regardless of what the developer claims.
*EDIT*Looking back this issue was addressed and hopefully we will see a solution to this sooner rather than later.
There is no way that makes up a "large proportion of the premine". The Earthcoin account recently made a nice post about bounties but seemed to completely ignore the posts about setting up a public ledger of the premine coins.
Earthcoin, is this not something you are willing to do?
Apologies, it didn't go unnoticed, threw the comment at the team, discussing, will address when ready as it's sensitive and not something we'll just ignore forever nor address in one swoop. In short it's also exposing our bare ass re what strategies we take, who is involved for future moves, sensitive marketing moves, disclosing others ID who may wish to stay under the radar, maybe exchanges or sensitive relationships being out in the open for competitors to see, amounts for certain tasks... premine programme to last potentially more than a year or more so tons of audits with sensitive classified info all made public is probably not going to happen, but again that's just first reaction and few layers of thought pulled back, will discuss more.
