if seen maybe this is a good thing and whether IICO will start to shine and replace BTTC or will there be another cryptocurrency that can replace BTC, as we see investors starting to be interested in more diverse ICO. hopefully in the future this is a good signal for crypto's future

what do you think will happen on bitcoin after several years? i expect that bitcoin will a more bigger continuities and maybe that we can use bitcoin currency in public like buying in a supermarket cause we alk know that technology in our world was growing in every second that's only what I'm thinking what about your thoughts?
maybe we all hope that the same thing where btc in the next few years can be used as something that is really useful can at least be a digital world currency, but that may still be much to be reviewed because it is seen from the market today there are still many who use btc as an investment tool like gold and btc turnover is not appropriate for the tool to exchange in the digital world as it should be made btc

After reading a lot of posts made by people on this forum, I realized about 75% of them see Bitcoin as a digital Gold. For me, I don't think Bitcoin is a digital gold. Cryptocurrency or Bitcoin to be precise, was developed to be a safer option for transaction of goods and services and also the best mode of payment. Bitcoin was introduced to disable all the restrictions that banks and the financial system presented. A lot of people have lost huge sums of money because they saw bitcoin as a digital gold. I know others will argue that bitcoin has also made people rich but for me, I don't think it is advisable to consider Bitcoin as a digital gold. Bitcoin is a digital currency.
yes I agree because I also think so because in my opinion btc is a currency not a gold or an investment instrument because btc itself is used to exchange something like a currency, not to be stored like stocks or assets.

Here is what I see each time the government tries to stop or control bitcoin- ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2FrFzTXc3.jpg&t=663&c=hkIvIT0w6XRjLg) Bitcoin is designed to be censorship resistant, peer-to-peer payment system designed to remove the control by centralized institutions like banks . When bitcoin eventually achieve mass adoption, it will not really be much of an issue if some Governments place a ban on it within their countries. haha that's really sarcasm, because in my opinion that is how the government can prohibit btc while BTC is circulating in cyberspace where there is no government at all, that's why I am attracted to btc which is very flexible and anonymous, making anyone free to use and use it for buy anything

Looking at the current market, many people are disappointed in the market price, bitcoin prices stomping at the $ 7000 level, altcoin prices are falling deeply. Recent good news, however, shows that the market continues to grow and has great potential in the future. What would you do this time: Buy bitcoin, buy altcoin or do nothing?
I prefer to avoid making purchases because the price of btc is still very unstable and has not shown any signs of a bullish market, and if signs like a bullish will appear so you hold back to make sure the signal is correct, then after that the tone can do purchase by taking profit.

hello member of the bitcoin forum, ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) I'm confused and looking for answers about how to help people who are having economic problems, are there any of us in this forum who have a good heart to help the economy of fellow human beings, can opening new jobs reduce unemployment and improve the economy? I think there are many factors that cause a person to be very troubled in the economic field, perhaps one of them is education, employment, or lack of one's skills. therefore we as educated people must begin to give them input to start something, if the lack of jobs try to help them to trade or do things that produce profit, because I think all humans must have the potential of each

The Ceo of Bitcoin cash recently stated that soon people wouldn't be needing banks anymore.Does it mean the world is going crypto soon or he is just bluffing.
I am a little less agree with your opinion, because in my opinion we still need a bank to insert money in physical form, such as banknotes and metal, we cannot just entrust our btc in a wallet with a high level of hack risk plus the bank has management and better security

bitcoin was born in Asia and the majority of users are also Asians. Is it true that the majority of bitcoin holders are Asians. anyone can tell me
say it is true, moreover, Asia, especially Japan is the birthplace of BTC, in my own country in Southeast Asia, BTC is being loved by many people because of something new and interesting, especially if we are smart to invest or trading can generate big profits, with risk the big one is of course hehe
|
|
|
yes it could happen but in my opinion it still takes a long time because there are still many people who have not been able to accept crypto, but when seen from its development lately crypto can still be said to be good maybe the government is still not able to accept cryptocurrency, and my hope in the future the crypto community can be better and develop and hopefully the government can accept crypto as a new payment instrument in the digital world.

I think the government is still afraid because at first the use of bitcoin was used in the DeepWeb where there were selling drug , human trafficking and others even able to make money laundering. therefore if the government still views BTC with one eye, the government will continue to issue rules on circulation and use of the btc itself.

Because to my knowledge there are several countries in southeast asia that have not legalized bitcoin. And what is our endeavor for bitcoin in southeast asia to be legal like any other country (which has legalized bitcoin). Will the impact be positive or negative? in my own country in the southeast asia region BTC is not illegal here it is permissible to buy and sell btc without government interference and risk is also at my own expense, but I don't know whether in the future it will stay like this or even be banned, but i hope to stay like this

My friend decided to sell his car and invest all the money in Bitcoin as some people predict that 1 BTC will reach 500 000$ till the end of 2019. He totally believes in it and tells that then he could buy not only a new car but a flat also.
Does it really worth it? He uses his car for his work and now he wouldn't be able to do this anymore as he thinks there's no need to work anymore.
in my opinion this is a wrong example, it might be legitimate just because it's the money he has. but it is supposed to invest we use idle money as investment. instead of using our basic needs, if doing it this way is like gambling

I know some of you would wonder what this topic is doing here, in the Economics section, but since it is in fact an economic question with purely utilitarian goals in mind, I think it is where it should be. This is a serious question and I'm not kidding. I'm not very interested in European languages like German or French, or whatever, as I think languages like Chinese and Japanese are more promising and rewarding in terms of both usage and money in the nearest future. Personally, I'm more inclined toward Japanese (that's why I'm not decided yet), though I understand that Chinese may be a better choice for the time being and years to come
So what is your opinion on this matter from an economic point of view, with crypto in mind?
if I think Chinese might be more suitable to learn first because international language requires us to be able to speak English first, and the second international language is Chinese. especially if you already speak Chinese, maybe you can start talking with Chinese businessmen hehe ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

hahaha in my opinion education is not an instrument of investment but that is the duty of all of us. because if you see whether when investing in education will make us lose? the answer is never because education is something that continues to make you smarter and get benefits for yourself. so investing in BTC and education is not something that can be compared because these two things are very different

Bitcoin at the present time resembles as a bubble.Once it goes up, it immediately pops out. It is normal that the price of bitcoin gets down but it's been a long time since it is on its original value or higher than its real value. Those who invest these past few months are suffering a lot of loaaes and they are losing hope that bitcoin will continue to drastically decrease in value. Do you have guys some advice for me? It will be really appreciated and I will be eternal grateful.
My suggestion for now is that you are better off to buy or not make a purchase first until you see a bullish pattern on the BTC chart, which if we see the overall BTC chart is currently experiencing a bearish period and it is not recommended to buy the stock if the price already showed it will rise then it's the right time.

As we all know, stock market had been there for a very long time now and on the other hand, cryptocurrency is a fast rising trend when it comes to the world of trade and commerce. Some may prefer to invest in crypto because of high returns but some will still go with stock market and play it safe. In your opinion, what will be the best option to invest your money on?
for me personally at this time I prefer the stock market because in my opinion the current stock market tends to have a lower risk compared to BTC moreover the stock market is also supported by the government and a high level of security, but back to the way you invest, if You are a person who is more happy with the way of high risk high return, maybe investing in BTC is more profitable because of the high return with high risk.

People nowadays used to hold bitcoin instead than to circulate it, how may if affect in the stock or volume of the bitcoins?
then it will affect the btc price if many investors hold btc, making the btc turn around a little stagnant and prices tend to fluctuate and even tend to fall in my opinion

Bitcoin is now at about 6k$...
I bought tons of bitcoin when the price was at 3k$ and then sold at about 17k$, I made profits then, but now I don't think that the price can go up again... Will it?
yes, hopefully from price fluctuations during this time, maybe BTC will experience an increase, where in investing we are taught patiently and know when we have to make a decision to sell or buy. then it's your job as an investor to determine what you have to do with your investment, whether to sell it or hold it

really a very regrettable thing in this modern world, there are still some countries that do not want to accept new things, and look at these new things from the bad side, even though if we look from the good side btc also has a good side for foreign transactions anonymously .
