Funny that 1,5 - 2 days after I start to think about vertcoin it just jumped in diff and less and less btc / month coming in if I mine it  Also I couldn't get my 280x cards working even I read the whole vertcoin settings topic. I think this is a nice coin for investment what do you think guys is it worth it to mine? Thanks Yes, it is allways worth to mine. When diff is rising then price is rising. Have you guys also experienced that solo mining is more effective than mining in pools? Or have I just been lucky.. :p also, great website upgrade! it's nice that people can read what the coin is about now

CGA per day? if this is true, mining will also become more decentralized  I probably had a lucky day lol:p Two days ago I've gotten 5 coins in one day with only 175 kh/s, since the difficulty increased dramatically I didn't get any today though:( Maybe you have a higher chance to create anomalies with a lower hash rate? two days ago cga is not yet in exchanges (lower net hash rate)..it was only yesterday when poloniex added cga then net hash rate increased today..making the coin rarer..i'm mining in p2p..i felt the elusiveness of this coin today too.. Yeah indeed it is really elusive today lol, I did see a block reward of 100 too though, he must be very happy. By the way, if there's anything I can do to help the community, i'd be happy to. Maybe send an e-mail to coinedup so that they can add the coin to their exchange or whatever Can you enlighten me on where this 100 CGA block reward was? Edit: and yes we need more promoters to get the word out. Emails to various exchanges and cryptocoin blogs would be a big help. No, in case of Vertcoin it is just your_hashrate/diff = amount VTC per 24h. |

hi, guys, i'm a noob to the VTC coin, i just wonder how many coins i can get mining 24 hours with my 700 kh/s 280x card, any suggestions?
There's a useful characteristic of VTC - divide your hashrate in KH/s by the difficulty to get coins/day, difficulty is about 130 now, so 700/130 = 5.4 VTC/day. It's true, but the hash rate in your case is 350, not 700 like normal scrypt. |
