I am fascinated by the X-cash project, however I have noticed that the blockchain is already occupying over 4 Gb of space on my computer in this very early stage stage of the coin. Why is it so "heavy"? If it is so heavy already now, how will the growing size be sustainable on the long run?
Indeed, because of the 300kb block size and the airdrop distribution, the blockchain size rose up quickly. This is something we were aware of at the beginning. But when we switch to bulletproof transactions in late October the size increase will reduce greatly. Hope i was able to answer your question. Yes. But I already have another one. Will in the future the existing blockchain be reduced in size somehow too? By October it will have grown even more and to carry around such a huge bundle of Gibabytes FOREVER would be quite a burden. the blockchain cant be reduced, but it can be reduced in terms of growth the bulletproofs coming out in late october early novemeber will reduce this because of the private tx were implementing we have to increase the ringsize. my testing shows so far that were looking at worst case (meaning the most ringsize increase) the size of growth is reduced 3x best case were looking at 5-6X reduced growth Thanks for posting! Yes were trying to be as transparent as possible will x-cash try and merge with a mobile pay app like maybe pundi-x as it really needs a mobile pay terminal to evolve and maybe partnering with one of these would help massively.

the whitepaper explains were making a mobile wallet and were building our own payment gateway that is on blockchain and does not make the user wait for confirmations we have no plans as of now to merge with an existing one |

Who knows if the date is known, when they will open incoming payments on exchanges?
Stex is a bad exchange, there are only moral freaks buying coins at a cheap price.
we have already provided a fix on github and contacted cryptopia. they said it would take a little time so thats as far as we know
Which pool has high hash?
13mh, Are you sure this isn't a bug? whereas of all existing pools there is no one that has a high hash, except the official 2mh pool
yes its probably someone who setup their own mining pool for their own private use. we had this a about a month ago for 4 days where the network HR did not match all of the public pools HR |

Why official pool change fee to 2%
We did this over a month ago It was because after 2 weeks we still had over 85% of the networks hash rate on our pool, so we wanted more decentralization |

Im upgrading to latest wallet and its been 3 hours 30min to synch my wallet .-.
I have a great connection and read chain is now 4gb + but it shouldve finished by now. Is there anyway to manually download it ? This is taking wayyyy to long. Just trying to sell of the few i got since older wallet just gives transaction error
Is it stuck in the animated progress bar, or does it show the real progress bar with an estimated time remaining? if its stuck on the animated progress bar, this means you need to run the GUI as admin, right click on the GUI and select run as administrator it probably downloaded at least something, so when you run it correctly it should show the real progress. It shows either no progress bar so i restart, then it has overlapping loading and at same time shows as if it loaded with 0 balance. I am not sure what is going on, I have never had that during testing, and code wise dont know how thats possible those screens could overlap If you dont mind, contact me on discord and we can get a screenshot and figure out how to fix it for you.  many bug on the wallet i think you need to fix it, because sometime i can't see my balance but i'm still promise with your works good luck  contact me on discord and I will help you Just downloaded the wallet. I think the blockchain is like 6.5GB right now, so however fast the internet is + little time for the blocks to process on your computer i think your latest wallet still need to fixed. i've update it to 1.2.2, have try many remote nodes but no progress. the last one i try to keep it run for more than 1 day and guess what?
it's still syncing.....
If it takes over 15 minutes using a remote node, then their is a problem I would suggest to make sure your wallet name does not have any latin characters in it you dont use an empty password (this will mess up the remote node for some reason) also were looking it into the servers as well, because I think its more of that issue then the wallet as many others here i also think there is a bug in the wallet that needs to be fixed, i can see the coins and it works but it keeps freezing and non of the wallets i have on this pc freeze as this one.
syncing takes a long long time and stops a lot which than makes it freeze.
other than that i think this project has a lot to offer, i found it pretty interesting and this can turn to be a pretty solid coin and community.
yes there are others that try similar things but it does not matter imo as there is space for more than one and if the team is good and the project is real, tech is real and there is constant work than there is no reason why this coin can not be a part of this Eco system.

Yes once your loaded and see your balance, click settings at the bottom right, then under manage wallet their is show seed or manage seed button click that then type the password. then it will show the public key view key spend key or seed Hello,

The reason it is large is because of all the small pool payments of 1000 X-CASH when the block reward is 100K as time goes on, the growth will decrease, or stay the same since our goal is to have the coin becomes more popular. there are 2 reasons why it will decrease. remember this coin is set very quickly with the mining rewards (2 years), which means the block rewards will decrease rapidly, as we have already seen it was 114K Aug 1st meaning less frequency of small payments from the pools the other reason is because in mid November we plan on implementing bullet proofs. These will dramatically decrease the size per tx, which means the blocks will hold more tx |

I can not register at https://x-cash.org. At registration produces an error: An error has occurred. Like everything is just a name, mail, twice the password. Changing mail does not help. What could be the reason? If you are signing up using proxy or VPN they will block your registration, My suggestion is use your normal internet connection in the airdrop registration. Proxy and VPN's are already block by their server. I do not use Proxy and VPN Hi, sometimes we have had a few false positives with the script, I would suggest trying a mobile phone, this helped everyone who had a false positive so far. |

Hate to say this, but the XCA wallet has become a joke. You better not close it, and let it run 24/7, otherwise you are fked, restore, restore, restore....  If you need help with an error contact me on discord and I will help you. really the only 3 errors I know are still out their are TX not possible -> not the wallets fault, its the way the pools have been paying everyone in small amounts. if you use the CLI and type unspent_outputs it will show a lot like 200+ solution -> send smaller amounts back to back, or use the sweep_all function in the CLI to reduce your unspents. as time goes on and once the exchanges open the coin should be reduced from the unspents since transfers wont be only coming from mining pools. Invalid seed or Invalid Password -> caused by using non latin characters in the wallet name. the password and wallet path are fixed but not the wallet name yet 0 balance when using a remote node -> this is because the wallet was going to the account summary page too soon before the cache was built 1.2.2 has this fix in it and will stay on the animated progress bar until it is done being built. the team tested it with one person today and it fixed it for them. loading forever, this is because you need to run the wallet as admin. right click the exe and choose run as admin hopefully this helps everyone |

Is this wallet update some kind of joke?
I downloaded new 1.2.0 version, copied .keys file, wanted to restore wallet from file and says "invalid password"
I tried once, two times, three times - same thing.
I open old wallet, open from file, SAME PASSWORD, works normally
EDIT: Tried also "restore from seed" option
says INVALID SEED - which is not possible.
If you need help come on discord and one of us should be able to walk you through it. Lind you are correct that is the proper way to do it copy the walletname.keys, walletname and walletname.txt file to the new directory, and open like normal also like others have mentioned above, try run as admin, and make sure it is in an excluded folder the other thing that has helped people is try running it and dont type anything in the password box (leave it blank). it may have something to do with characters not being english, that is something I am still testing for the next GUI update. also 1.2.0 had no GUI update, it was a pure binary CLI update, so I am not sure why it would be giving you this error |

i want to ask about the pre mine.
I am thinking that the pre mine is too big and i cant understand the 5% for private investors, this means that u gonna make a public sale of those coins or to sale coins to people that ask you?
And we need some more info about the exchange listing. You told that u gonna list the coins on exchnages at the end of August but you didnt deliver that.

Look at this figure, you can see the total premine for this coin.. See the graph  As i've understand, correct me @Dev if Im wrong, the total premine is 40% as i've seen on the graph, it is dedicated for development purposes.. 20% is for the Airdrop and Bounty 10% for covering the development cost 5% for private investors and the remaing.. 5% is for the team. For me it's very reasonable, they show the projection and the transparency of this project.. Yes your correct. The 5 % for the team is for us, and for new joiners, and is unlocked at every 10X of the marketcap. so we wont get our first payout until a 10M market cap the 20% is 1% per month distributed to all people who signed up that month for the airdrop. the 10% for development cost is like most coins, for the continuing expenses of keeping the coin going the 5% private investors is for investors that want to buy large amounts. (like a few hundred million to 1BN) they will be subjected to a time lockup and a discount. so they can choose, the longer they lockup the funds the better deal they get. This will be an OTC trade, so it does not affect the market. |

This was a NO ICO coin. Our founder spent around 100K USD for our development cost of the X-CASH. This means that really the only people who have X-CASH at the moment are the people mining, since even us the devs dont get our first coin release until a 10M dollar market cap. |

I still have problems registering using my twitter account, I'm using the other option to register with the mail but this one doesn't let me register either, any solution?
If you are using VPN, Proxy or Tor Browser to register most likely your registration is being block by the website. I suggest contact one of the dev via telegram or discord to check on your issues. I'm not using those things, I want to register with my twitter account but the page keeps loading and then shows that it has an error, I also tried with my email and it's the same. what error does it give? it seems to be working |

Yes, your advice is not useful to me ... because the old wallet is working, and 1.1.1 when updated (did according to the instructions, Windows) says that the password is not correct. so I can not create a new one (it does not show a phrase, an empty window), and I can not restore a new purse by the phrase .... Hi, Please make sure after you download the GUI and unzip the folder, make sure to open a terminal in that folder and run chmod +x script.sh && ./script.sh It will then ask for your user password like when you do a sudo command then it will say "Installation is complete" this will install the neccsary files for the GUI wallet. Then just double click the GUI wallet program and it should run. Hey, fellows! According to the map i see you have beta application ready.Is it possible to try it out?
