Im upgrading to latest wallet and its been 3 hours 30min to synch my wallet .-.
I have a great connection and read chain is now 4gb + but it shouldve finished by now. Is there anyway to manually download it ? This is taking wayyyy to long. Just trying to sell of the few i got since older wallet just gives transaction error
Is it stuck in the animated progress bar, or does it show the real progress bar with an estimated time remaining?
if its stuck on the animated progress bar, this means you need to run the GUI as admin, right click on the GUI and select run as administrator
it probably downloaded at least something, so when you run it correctly it should show the real progress.
It shows either no progress bar so i restart, then it has overlapping loading and at same time shows as if it loaded with 0 balance.
I am not sure what is going on, I have never had that during testing, and code wise dont know how thats possible those screens could overlap

Just downloaded the wallet. How many hours/days will this take to sync?
I think the blockchain is like 6.5GB right now, so however fast the internet is + little time for the blocks to process on your computer
i think your latest wallet still need to fixed. i've update it to 1.2.2, have try many remote nodes but no progress. the last one i try to keep it run for more than 1 day and guess what?
it's still syncing.....
If it takes over 15 minutes using a remote node, then their is a problem
I would suggest to make sure
your wallet name does not have any latin characters in it
you dont use an empty password (this will mess up the remote node for some reason)
also were looking it into the servers as well, because I think its more of that issue then the wallet
as many others here i also think there is a bug in the wallet that needs to be fixed, i can see the coins and it works but it keeps freezing and non of the wallets i have on this pc freeze as this one.
syncing takes a long long time and stops a lot which than makes it freeze.
other than that i think this project has a lot to offer, i found it pretty interesting and this can turn to be a pretty solid coin and community.
yes there are others that try similar things but it does not matter imo as there is space for more than one and if the team is good and the project is real, tech is real and there is constant work than there is no reason why this coin can not be a part of this Eco system.

Is there a way to find out which is the seed of a wallet after the seed is displayed during creation? I am afraid I have lost the seed, even though I am still able to access the wallet.
Yes once your loaded and see your balance, click settings at the bottom right, then under manage wallet their is show seed or manage seed button click that then type the password. then it will show the
public key
view key
spend key or seed
