www.Coingecko.com is cool Ranks coins according to dev activity, social media activity, price, marketcap etc Not like price*supply=rank which is retarded

Even if i am not sure about the claims made here, i find replies from apparent sdc holders hilarious. I think they do not understand software or math. Bugs do not mean the end of everything. People do not 'FUD' Bitcoin if they find a bug. This activity deserves applause and reward. But Shens claim that sdc had been public for the past year is a question on its existence

My bet would be on Monero which has solved Bitcoins apparently fatal flaws by introducing dynamic block size and a tail emission, enhanced privacy is an extra plus
|
|
|
Maybe Bitcoin should look at Monero which has dynamic block size, but for that to work the hard limit has to be changed to a tail emission which will never happen
|
|
|
Because they want to send a transaction to the block chain.
If you think anybody will be willing to secure the network without direct incentive especially after Bitcoin introduced mining incentive, you are in delusion. A large amount of hashrate which is critical for Bitcoin network is only here for profits

I have been around since the Bitmonero fork was announced by TFT (thankfulfortoday). The original cryptonote - Bytecoin was a massive premine so Bitmonero fork was the answer. But TFT showed the same fishy behaviour as did the suddenly found Bytecoin supporters. TFT was not ready to listen to people. So a set of members took over and changed the name to Monero (with the knowledge of TFT). After starting work on Monero, they found the miner was deliberately crippled by the bytecoin team, If memory serves me right it was noodledoodle who found it and released the updated faster code. Since then Monero has been developed as expected from honest and professional people

CryptoNote ? Say it ain't so ! I was just told by smoothie it was a Bytecoin fork LOL
Then i reminded him about telling me it was a cryptonote fork a year ago.
I also talked to the people on the Cryptonote topic and asked them why they made it LOL It's a coin cloning "platform" AHAHHAHA ..because.
These deceitful clowns can never get their stories straight ROFL
What a fool, Cryptonote is the protocol used in Bytecoin and Monero What a circus of irrelevant people discussing what they dont understand

Monero is surprisingly stable. Its holding value even with such a brutal emission. That clearly is a sign that it has a large following

Did poloniex scam you?
If not, your thread title is misleading [again]

Yes, it should be part of the protocol itself. DASH does this right now. In the wallet you can choose to send funds "anonymously" or "non-anonymously" with a single click. The mixing is facilitated by the full nodes, so there is no need for a 3rd party mixing service.
Dash uses masternodes if i am correct, which means the user has to "trust" masternodes not to censor them. Kind of a logical failure i think The mixing is better if implemented at protocol level, for ex - Cryptonote protocol

This threatens anonymity, one of the most powerful characteristics of Bitcoin
People should stop fooling themselves, if they think Bitcoin is anonymous they should better have a look at Monero http://www.bitcoinisnotanonymous.com/
