Well as long as they keep building and improving I think its still worth holding on to see what the future bring us. I actually don't care so much about the BET price, I only want dividends to increase over time. Of course I know there is a correlation between the 2.

EARN WITH EARNBET
Lunar New Year
Time: 1/22 until 2/8 (19:00 UTC)
Win up to 0.7 BTC
For every $1 you wager, you will receive 1 point on the leaderboard. The bettor with the most points will win the top prize, with prizes given to our top 15 bettors!

Nice challenge, I really like the idea and I hope it attracts a large number of people. I wanted to ask is there something else the team is working on at the moment, I'm asking because I've nt heard anything from this casino for a while and I was wondering why so quiet?

You should follow their announcement channel on Telegram or their Twitter. They launched Blackjack not too long ago and they previewed the new update which looks like staking...

Why do you use only eos on your platform? Can be good for lower fees but I don't get why don't use also bitcoin since is the big coin and the majority can't even create an EOS account.

I have the same question in mind. Why are you only using Eos because I prefer other altcoins or Btc since I don't have an Eos account.

Not sure what you mean? You are reacting to a message from a year ago. EarnBet accepts: BTC, LTC, BCH, ETH, XRP, BNB, EOS & WAX

Early investors = BET fantasy token holders prior to the 80% drop.

In the real world, if your tokens lose 80%, then you lost 80% of your investment, because if you would have sold them at ATH, then you would have 80% more in your pocket!

The continuous lies by signature spammers and affiliates in this thread could not revoke the 80% longterm loss from ATH!

You would be hilarious if you weren't lying and deceiving newbs, because that's not how the markets work. Amount of people who sells the absolute top is so tiny you can consider yourself to be very lucky to do that on any coin / token.
Do you even see how obvious your lies are? I mean you can't possibly be so stupid that you believe the crap you are saying here. Only thing i am worried losing is my brain cells while reading your nonsense about the relevance of ath.

He is posting the same content again and again if you look into the last four or five pages of this topic. Posting false info regarding the dividend while every data is on-chain. The team is working to its best right from the beginning in all aspects of the game. FYI I'm not a supporter or a holder of BET tokens I'm in this EOS gambling ecosystem since the launch of EOSBET and used to play on it occasionally.

In 5 years from now he'll be still copy pasting the same crap over and over again, while the whole (real) world knows he's lying and saying nonsense, because the real world actually knows how investing works and how to interpret charts.

Meanwhile, BET holders just keep cashing dividends  Cheesy

Great, it works for me  Cheesy had no doubt this would be updated.

Also love playing the new Blackjack!! Favourite game for sure  Grin Hope to see a blackjack promotion soon!

Exchange volume doesn't bring any value to the project, especially not fake volume. If BET itself gives enough dividends, that brings value to tokens and it should be all they are focusing right now.

I agree, they need to focus on building the casino. Building a business is no easy task nor a fast one. We just need to be patient.

Do you think its the world first fully on-chain BJ game definitely not, a lot of players on the EOS ecosystem already have or had their fully functional on-chain blackjack game, But Earnbet will always be good with their UI and it's not important who brings first only who did it best is all matters.

Actually I think it is the first, the ones I know of in the EOS ecosystem have blackjack but not 100% on-chain. They have some sort of off-chain deposit mechanism. They just put a scatter login at the front, so it looks like a 100% dApp, but than if you want to play Blackjack you need to deposit first, from there its not on-chain anymore.

By the way they just posted a message about Bitboy Crypto doing a review... the start of marketing ramping up? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fpGBb8VBrjY Hope to see more of this. I also saw a banner up at https://coinmarketcal.com few days back. Not the biggest, but gotta start somewhere. Lets get it on CMC and Coingecko Cheesy

What bothered me the most about earnbet is that they are making these HUGE decisions all by themselves without ever consulting to the token holders. Whats the point of owning a certain percentage of a website if you have zero say in what that casino is doing?

I used to have a lot of bet tokens which I sold in 2019 thankfully and will never buy again until earnbet shows some remorse, but when I owned bet token they moved from eosbet to earnbet, they moved from eos to wax, they have added new games and had a roadmap of blackjack as well, like what do I have to do to throw my hat in the ring and provide my suggestions as well? If earnbet team can change the website however they want and do whatever they want with it, whats the point of having just tokens for dividends only?

Token holders are not the shareholders of the Earnbet, do you think they took this huge decision without thinking about the impact of it.? I'm not a supporter or hater of earnbet. Tronbet also changed its name to Wink. The reason may be to be a crypto casino rather than an EOS casino. Resource cost is the reason for their move from EOS to WAX which in turn reduces their operation cost result in increased profitability thereby the dividend. The BET tokens intend only for the dividend not more than that as far as I know. I don't hold any BET or any of the casino tokens for the information.

Yeah it sure isn't the same. The decentralization part is only meant for the backend of the casino (the blockchain) to prove the casino is 100% fair (which it is). That does not mean the company and therefore the governance is decentralized as well. I'm sure that if it was earnbet would have gotten nowhere if that were the case since there would have been to many misfits owning the BET tokens that probably have no idea what it takes to run a business let alone a casino.

They did express on Telegram that they have plans to involve the community (BET holders) more in the future with DAO like features. My guess is some voting system or something. But that will still not be 100% DAO probably.

Nice!!! Finally my favorite game is here  Grin Grin looks good! Love how it's 100% on-chain, unlike other so called dApps that aren't dApps just because they accept crypto or have a scatter login front.

Just to open this in spirit of transparency, is that still the same code you are running on? I mean there are new games and new currencies now, and that's a year old code in github.

Well I have no idea, maybe @EarnBet can enlighten us on that. I'm also not a developer, but I am a bit technical and it looks like the file shows us they way to know the random number is actually random. I guess that is what makes a casino fair (random actually being random). Don't think the addition of new currencies or games have any effect on that. They all make use of the same provably fair random generator code.
72  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com SPORTS BETTING NOW LIVE! 🏀 ⚾ 🏈 🎾 🥊 on: January 02, 2020, 02:16:20 PM
Can people own the casino on stake.com?

I do not really understand what do you mean by "own the casino on stake". Do you mean something like investing on stake's bankroll? Would be nice if you can elaborate your question in more understandable sentences. Or maybe I'm the one who cant understand your main idea, so lets see and wait if someone from Stake especially Symphonized or even Stunna understand your question.
I also don't understand what he means but in my opinion he might want a new casino game on Stake.

I believe he wants to know if stake.com is going the same route like earnbet.io for example where you can sort of own a part of the casino by holding their token and get dividends. But the answer is no, stake.com doesn't offer that.

its shaky. the fact that investors doesn't really own the tokens since its inside EOSbet panel not in their personal wallet.

Not true, you can have your tokens in your personal wallet. I have...

How if WAX then become clogged like EOS? What is next? How if EOS then able to solve the problem, do they move back to EOS? Damn, this project sounds like a good idea at first, before the reality hits.

At a glance, WAX looks like just another fork of EOS. << correct me if I'm wrong.

It is not an EOS fork. WAX just like EOS used EOS.IO open source software from Block.one to create their blockchain. So WAX is not a fork from EOS. Also they have not implemented REX like EOS has so this reduces the chances this will happen to EOS, because on WAX you can't rent CPU very very cheap like on EOS. If you want to do the same on WAX, they would have to buy the WAX coins, which will be practically too expensive to do.

------------------

Also they only considered EOS.IO sister chains because they could just use their current code, since it's all based on EOS.IO the move could be done very fast. They also said even though it doesn't look like anything like whats happening on EOS can happen on WAX, they will prepare in case something does happen like this on WAX.

We have to understand blockchain (specially blockchain 3.0) is still a very much young tech so a lot or issues will probably be needed to solve... issues we probably don't even know about yet and will discover as we go a long for the ride. For now I believe WAX has been a good move and looking at the website incoming bets doesn't seem have much of an impact in terms of being an active site.
76  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎲EarnBet.io - The First Player-Owned Casino 🎲Provably Fair 🎲BTC ₿ on: December 12, 2019, 01:50:38 PM
What advances moving to WAX gives to Earnbet over other platforms? I mean for obvious reasons i understand why they are not staying in EOS but i wasn't expecting WAX from all things.

Well what I know about WAX that should help EarnBet:

1. They have the best wallet out there for non crypto users. Just login with your facebook account of google account or one of the other options. And you can play all the dapps.

2. WAX has funding pretty much covered as in it has an easy way of buying WAX through credits cards, maestro, skrill, ideal and many more options. So new players don't need to know how exchanges work ect in order to play on earnbet.

3. It's a game focussed blockchain, so they have the same audience in mind when developing the blockchain.

hey Earnbet , is there anyway to change my upline ? I have an account with you but want to help someone I know by registering under his link
I want to keep the site connected with my EOS address since creating a new EOS address means I need to stake again  so IDK if you can handle this

can you also partner with some slots providers just like tron dapps , not sure if there is any EOS dapp at the moment that offers 3D slots so would be nice to have these in your site

Not that I'm with earnbet, but as far as I know you can't switch your upline unless you create a new account.
78  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎲EarnBet.io - The First Player-Owned Casino 🎲Provably Fair 🎲BTC ₿ on: December 01, 2019, 10:12:02 PM
Right now is not the moment for big marketing, since EOS chain can't handle it right now with these CPU issues...
They better do big marketing when/if they move.

Finally, interesting news from EarnBet team Smiley

Quote
The current 21+ EOS block producers need to begin governing with the best interests of the blockchain in mind. If these block producers are unable to institute a comprehensive fix in 30 days, we will be leaving the EOS network. If block producers will not support applications that are bringing real value to the EOS chain, then real applications will not build on EOS.
Source: https://blog.earnbet.io/eos-30-day-notice/

Where will they migrate? TRON? LOOM?

My initial guess would be Tron, but does anyone have details what are the cheapest options out there? I was under the impression that EOS was chosen in the first hand because it was cheap.

I think it would be best to move to another EOSIO chain, because that would be so easy to change compare to a whole different blockchain. I would say WAX or TELOS, although WAX is game focussed so might be the best option.
80  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎲EarnBet.io - Licensed Casino Platform 🎲Provably Fair 🎲NOW ACCEPTING BTC ₿ on: November 25, 2019, 01:07:06 PM
Right now it's hardly EarnBets fault for underperforming on the dividends side. The whole EOS blockchain is congested with CPU shortage. Every dapp is struggling. But from all dapps on EOS EarnBet still 1 of the best performing dapps. There are still some whales betting hard, specially with ETH last couple of days.

So whats the use of marketing right now when the EOS chain can't even handle more users?? First the CPU issues must be solved before more players can join. Or EarnBet has to make a decision (which has been going around in the main chat) to move to another blockchain without these issues.
