61  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: WAVES - Complete Blockchain ecosystem for a token economy on: July 26, 2018, 02:38:01 AM
I do not think that this crypto currency will be popular in the future. Many were disappointed in the project. The team will need to work hard to get the project again popular.

HODL! TO THE MOON! OMG, MY MONEY'S BEEN STOLEN DUE TO A DNS HIJACK BECAUSE SASHA'S TOO HOPELESS TO PROVIDE US WITH A DESKTOP WALLET.

HODL! TO THE MOON! TO THE MOON! HODL!

That's all I hear on this forum.

Sasha isn't working hard. He's moved on to a new project, Vostok, and people on here have lapped up the lies that Vostok will benefit Waves, when it just won't. And, as I said, he's deserted investors before, and if he does it again, it won't be his rich mates at Vostok he'll screw - it'll be the Waves-holding plebs!

What is your Waves address that was hacked?  If you're seriously not fuddin you would post your Waves address.  I doubt you own any Waves to begin with.  Looking at your post history, you have an issue with Waves like Sasha ran over your dog or something.  lol!!!
62  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: There are too many new Token, new project on: July 25, 2018, 03:44:04 AM
Yes, there are way too many cryptocurrencies and new ones being launched on a regular basis.  In total there are thousands of altcoins to choose from and it could be very complicated.  Research the ones you like and be picky with your decision.  If you don't like it, move on, and there's no reason to be married to just one crypto.
63  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Monero a Good Investment? on: July 25, 2018, 03:40:47 AM
Monero is one of the best privacy cryptocurrencies and is a great investment.  There's also a new Monero fork but will also offer service nodes (masternodes) called Loki.  Look it up, it's very undervalued at the moment.
64  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you even read whitepaper bro? on: July 24, 2018, 05:03:44 PM
If you're investing your money into any ICO, you should always read the whitepaper.  It isn't wise to just throw money at something blindly.  You need to know the vision of the project and the purpose of the cryptocurrency.
65  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New Exchanges (What are your favorite features?) on: July 24, 2018, 01:56:43 AM
If you consider Binance new, since it's only about a year old, it is my favorite exchange to trade on at the moment.  There are a large variety of cryptocurrencies and the trading volumes are huge.  I also feel safe leaving the cryptos that I am trading with on the exchange.
66  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How can I make money (no scam) on: July 24, 2018, 01:54:21 AM
You can make money doing bounty campaigns but there are some risks involved as with anything.  If you end up doing work for a project that ends up being a scam, don't expect to get paid for your services.
67  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you trust ERC20 tokens? on: July 22, 2018, 03:55:18 PM
There are a significant amount of ERC20 tokens.  More crappy ones than the good ones.  I would recommend doing intensive research before purchasing any.  Stick with the ones that don't have an anonymous team.
68  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Waves Sell Or Hodl? on: July 22, 2018, 03:53:32 PM
At the current price of Waves, it is a buy or HODL position.  I wouldn't even think of selling Waves for anything under $10.  It will easily surpass $10 and beyond.  Just wait until the market recovers and Waves will end up becoming a tsunami.   Smiley
69  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Strong Hands Vs Weak Hands on: July 22, 2018, 02:29:26 AM
The market needs both strong hands and weak hands to balance out.  If there were only strong hands, there would be no sell orders and you couldn't buy any coins.  If everyone were weak hands, there would be no buyers.  It's good to have a balance of both for every crypto market.
70  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should I give up now? on: July 18, 2018, 01:32:03 AM
Giving up should never be an option.  Cryptocurrencies no doubt makes people tougher and their skin thicker.  The market is very volatile and there are many scams to be careful of.  Just learn from your mistakes and think of it as paying your dues to learn.
71  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][$LOKI] Loki - Private Transactions & Comms on: July 18, 2018, 01:28:36 AM
The paper you’ve all been waiting for! Our Economic Proposal paper. Service Node Staking Requirements inside! https://loki.network/proposal

Wow, 45k Loki for a service node. I was really hoping it would be something around 10k. Going to price out a lot of smaller investors.

We are looking into Pooling for service nodes, at a protocol level, we're making some good progress.

There may be a way to split the cost/reward between a few people.

That is great news for those who are unable to purchase the initial 45,000 Loki's to operate a service node.  I know many will be pleased once this pooling announcement becomes official.  Good luck to the Loki team!

"We're implementing ERC20 gateway now on $waves. Please write which tokens you would like to see implemented first."

Finally, now can see good volume on DEX while many ERC20 tokens are looking for exchanges.

Thanks for the information.

Why is it not possible to integrated all ERC20-Tokens at the same time? An ERC20 Token is defined by Name, Contract address and decimals. Should not be so diffcult  for a programmer..... Huh Huh Huh

It is probably because the Waves team will have to audit the smart contract before adding them on the Waves DEX.  You can't just allow every ERC20 tokens to be added without auditing and that process takes a lot of time.
73  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Whitepaper? Do you really believe 100% in any projects whitepaper?. on: July 16, 2018, 06:47:04 PM
No, I do not believe 100% of what is stated in the whitepapers.  There are too many factors involves and projects rarely hit the deadlines they put out in the whitepaper.  Read the whitepaper for a general review of the vision of the project.
74  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it risky to buy not top 100 crypto currencies? on: July 16, 2018, 05:20:25 PM
The market cap has risen high this past year so being in the top 100 is very difficult.  There are a lot of good projects that are not in the top 100.  I have my eye on a project called Loki.  It is very undervalued with some major releases before the end of the year.   Smiley
75  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Airdrop !! is it worth it ! on: July 16, 2018, 01:06:50 AM
Many airdrops have been worthless but there are some that have been worth something such as the airdrops from the Waves platform team.  Waves community tokens and Liquid tokens were airdropped to those who own Waves tokens and it was automatic, no forms/applications to fill out.
76  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 150 ETH OR 9.5 BTC? on: July 15, 2018, 01:00:23 AM
You don't have to own only ethereums or only bitcoins.  I own both as they are the top two cryptocurrencies.  You should consider doing the same and own maybe 50/50 or 60/40 of each crypto.  I would favor holding a little more bitcoins than ethereums.
77  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Mining alt with gaming laptop on: July 14, 2018, 04:27:21 AM
I have an Alienware 17r4 laptop. I heard some coins like monero,bytecoin,doge... Can mine through our personal computer.is it really worth it if mine those with a gaming laptop.(nb: i never mined any coins before)

Mining with a laptop is not worth it.  Depending on what you're mining, mining with GPU's might not even be that profitable either.  Just keep using your laptop for gaming and if you own any POS coins, then just stake them on your laptop.
78  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to protect your wallet from hackers on: July 14, 2018, 01:29:30 AM
If you're using myetherwallet, be sure to bookmark it and it wouldn't hurt to download MetaCert for your browser.  You can also use Metamask with myetherwallet for additional security.
79  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Some good low caps on Cryptopia on: July 14, 2018, 01:09:59 AM
Loki is a good up and coming project that is listed on Cryptopia.  It's also on another small exchange called Tradeogre.  It's a privacy/anonymous coin that will also be offering service nodes.  Good project to pick up before it get's listed on larger exchanges.
80  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is it better to buy during ICO or Market? on: July 14, 2018, 01:03:55 AM
If after doing some intensive research on the project and I like it, I will participate in the ICO and also save some funds to top off on my holdings if the price drops.  I will not go all in during the ICO and the price could drop below ICO levels.
