61  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is my Bank on: December 18, 2020, 03:57:11 PM
Due to the covid 19 pandemic, I lost my job and my bank account was closed because I withdrew all my remaining balance to buy our necessities, at that time I was looking for another alternative to lost job in order to support my family's needs . Until I start trading bitcoin with small capital and thanks God because with the help of cryptocurrency we can continue to survive from the difficult time of pandemic.

Now I have accumulated a small amount to be able to reopen a bank account but I think that instead of opening a new bank account, it is be better to just buy and invest in bitcoin so that I can expect more profit than the traditional bank.

I know that investing in bitcoin is risky but I also believe that bitcoin has a good future.

I just hope I made the right decision.
Trading and investing are both two different things, since you've find your way around crypto trading why can't you focus more on that for now? And invest some money on bitcoin later? As you can see bitcoin price is surging, jumping in right now isn't as safe as when it was way down under 10,000$, it's better to keep trading
62  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: [ALEART] Scam Aave Wallet asking for private key on: December 18, 2020, 03:54:22 PM
Erase google playstore from your mind, do not use this platform for downloading any apps that have something to do with money and assets because they can be fake, google team aren't doing anything about it, even few fake apps are been reported but google never took them down
63  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: [ALEART] Scam Aave Wallet asking for private key on: December 18, 2020, 03:53:10 PM
Two years ago you can just go on playstore and type search the name of any mobile wallet you are looking for, both old or new and you will have confident download for use not now things have changed a lot, you can't easily tell which app is the real one unless the scammers did a wacked job, if app carries same logos as the original it will be harder to detect
64  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Need to topup my mobile phone using crypto on: December 17, 2020, 12:47:47 PM
I need to topup my mobile phone using Bitcoin / Crypto

Can anyone suggest me any good site which offer this service with minimal fee/cost ?
You can use ETN to buy data or top up your balance, all you need is an ETN wallet and buy some ETN coins them transfer to your wallet address, you only need to drop your mobile number and the job will be done in seconds, pretty convenient and straight forward, this is why I still use ETN coin till date, mainly for top ups
65  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty hunters complains and they listens on: December 17, 2020, 12:45:07 PM
Believe it or not, every bounty managers are different and most don't care about other humans like themselves, it's happening in our homes and streets, people don't give a damn what happens to others, they only care about themselves, nowadays people take out their smartphone to take pictures of accidents that need immediate attentions.
66  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: exchanges that support low amount of conversion on: December 17, 2020, 12:43:12 PM
I have a little amount (0.015) of BCH in my wallet. I am thinking of swapping it to ETH and moving to my ETH wallet. but lots of exchanges does not support little amount. do you know any exchange website that is possible to do that?
It doesn't make any sense to swap this amount of BCH for ETH or other crypto coins because the amount is too low, this is an amount to cover transaction fees only, there won't be anything left, I suggest you keep your BCH or find a friend that can borrow you more BCH and pay him back later after the sold for ETH
67  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think about DeFi? on: December 16, 2020, 03:33:02 PM
DeFi investment is another opportunity to make fast ROI just like ICO in 2017, most investors don't care if they lose their money or not, even some scam projects like YFI clones still receives many funds from investors till date, people just like taking risks

The fact is we have less holders now in crypto space nowadays, many have learned, crypto investment of nowadays is best for short term, DeFi carries huge risks and only smart asses will take their profits and exit
68  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Fishing sites and fake wallet on: December 16, 2020, 03:21:11 PM
Yes you can, I use trust wallet, coinomi wallet, token pocket, they all have password and even finger print security in their settings, without the right password you won't be able to send out any transaction unless you import the recovery seed from scratch
69  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Best places for Crypto Traders on: December 15, 2020, 02:52:39 PM
Hey all! since the trends change and a new wave of traders is entering the crypto sphere I have a question;

Which platforms/social media/blogs/forums are you active on the most? I see that crypto Twitter is on the rise lately being very popular among traders.

I would basically just like to interact with others, share info, and see what others are posting. where to? Thanks!
I am a fully active twitter platform user and I am 100% sure that crypto on Twitter is highly dangerous, there are hundreds of unknown tokens and coins on Twitter that aren't listed anywhere and people are creating Hypes for this tokens, from deflationary tokens to DeFi projects, twitter is so unsafe compare to other crypto forums, it's just a fake hype haven
70  Economy / Economics / Re: 2021 not Looking good on: December 15, 2020, 02:49:53 PM
2021 not Looking good!

Only things what could be good are Bitcoin and cryptocurrency
Other things dont look good!

The economy will go lowest i Think.

Becouse there is still some countries who operating quite normal like sweden, finland but 2021 I think they have to face reality

And I dont see that Central Banks will just recklessly print money anymore just to pump Up economy I think this time they will say no more free money we dont kill the currencies with inflation

I dont belive that money printing dream anymore
And I think the Central bankers are same realistic as I am.

We've seen the worst in 2020, that's because no one knew that there will be a virus outbreak with long months of no vaccine, now things are way better and 2021 is definitely going to be a year of hope for everybody, the worst have already happened and we survived it, let's start having a positive mind for the coming new year, all the best
71  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: History will be repeating itself, invest wisely. on: December 14, 2020, 03:01:32 PM
Just like ICO, proof of stake, masternode, IEO and DEFi. The trend will come and go but few survive the jungle. The recent spike in price and are all sold off with - 50% and still counting as bitcoin plunge continues.
Sushi developer left the project but I was surprised how the price bounce back when FTX founder renowned his self to continue the project. Invest wisely, most of this project will cost you nothing but loss.

Greedy people will always get caught, the feeling of not getting enough profits or ROI will consume them whole, every new waves in crypto space must be treated like an opportunity, and opportunities comes but once, it's DeFi time and if you are smart you'd make what you can and exit your funds to better projects like Ethereum or bnb, in crypto space nothing lasts forever
72  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Be very careful with every steps you take on: December 14, 2020, 02:57:43 PM
When you don't know what ends a exchange website ( .com .net .io ) there might be a problem, most especially if you are new to the exchange, today I tried to open an account for MXC exchange and because I am not familiar with the exchange I use google to search for info and this is what I found.

There are fake links to majority of crypto exchanges, this isn't the first time, when I saw .ai I knew something is wrong and again the second red flag is the Ad, that's an ad link, scammers are advertising their cloned exchanges, be very careful what you seek for mates.
Every first ads that pops up when using Google search engine must be avoided at all costs, MXC exchange isn't the only one that gets cloned by Scammers, there are many others like metamask for example, I hope everyone will abstain from whatever they don't know and seek for answers before sending assets to any third party platforms
73  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If all state banks will make their own cryptocurrency. on: December 13, 2020, 03:01:48 PM
Every CBDC will be fully centralized and also stable like Fiat, if USDT, USDC and others failed to go into Waring state with bitcoin and others what will CBDC now do? People will surely use CBDC but crypto will remain their money making field and CBDC can't deliver that.
74  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Many old coins are dead and abandoned by the developer, WHY? on: December 13, 2020, 02:48:51 PM
Don't ever invest what you can't afford to lose even if the project looks like it will always be here to stay because we can never tell if the project will survive for long term or short time, the most dangerous projects in crypto world are new projects because the success of crypto is why we keep seeing fresh projects almost every day now
75  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: I built my first mining rig and it cant mine ANYTHING, please help :) on: December 12, 2020, 01:10:03 PM
Hello all!

Thank you for taking the time to read this, Ill try to be short. I have a mining rig I built with 8 gb of ram, 24 gb of virtual memory allocated (hard drive) and TWO gtx 970 4gb graphics cards (8gb total of gpu ram). and an i5 4 core processor. my display is using my motherboards integrated graphics card. I assumed this would be enough to mine even the crappiest of altcoins but it doesnt work.

I cant mine zcash, I cant mine ravencoin and I cant mine eth (not suprised by eth)

I have tried 20 youtube video tutorials setting up a simple mining operation but NOTHING works. I always get "cannot write dag file" from the eth miner or "memory dump" from the raven miner

What the heck am I doing wrong? I am very confused and thought this would be simple. I've already wasted a lot of money on this and would love some help.

Thank you Smiley
You build your first mining rig with sets of old graphic cards, I hope those gtx970 aren't new because it's a total waste of money, you should look into disposing them off if really you are into mining right now and buy better graphic cards, even RX570 and 580 beats gtx970 in mining, they are more cheaper and more profitable
76  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The success of the project depends on the project developer himself! on: December 12, 2020, 01:06:22 PM
Developers should keep working on new products or fresh utilities but instead many of them are repeating same old use cases we've seen a hundred times before, it's becoming tiring this days, I'm only moved by what is fresh and brand new or I'm better off with old crypto projects
77  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Drop by if you are a PayPal user on: December 11, 2020, 01:36:04 PM
Few years ago, when I started trading Bitcoin. I heard a lot of horror stories where Paypal shutdown accounts of people who use Paypal to buy crypto. Or engage transaction with websites that process Paypal to crypto. This is a stupid.

Now look Paypal company allows purchasing crypto using Paypal.

Quoted from their website:

https://www.paypal.com/us/smarthelp/article/cryptocurrency-on-paypal-faq-faq4398?app=searchAutoComplete#:~:text=We%20announced%20that%20PayPal%20users,service%20to%20Venmo%20in%202021.

Quote
We announced that PayPal users in the U.S. can buy, sell and hold select Cryptocurrencies directly through PayPal using their Cash or Cash Plus account. Users will be able to learn about Crypto, track crypto prices, all without leaving the PayPal app. We plan to introduce this service to Venmo in 2021.
PayPal also announced that it will enable Cryptocurrency as a funding source for purchases in 2021, allowing users to use their Cryptocurrency holdings to make purchases at its network of more than 26 million merchants. Once launched in 2021, when a consumer selects Cryptocurrency as the funding source, the Cryptocurrency will be instantly converted to fiat currency and the transaction will be settled with the PayPal merchants in fiat currency.
I won't call it stupidity because PayPal isn't the only company that thinks crypto is another bubble, many did and things change around thanks to crypto performance since that year, even today there are still some millionaires who refused to invest in Bitcoin saying they have no clue what it's all about, crypto adoption needs time and PayPal team feels like it's the right time to support the technology, it's normal.
78  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Business proposal - i need advisor on: December 11, 2020, 01:32:21 PM
Here is the deal. I hold few tokens last few months but i would like to earn something as well, not just hold still.
So, i need advisor on a friendly basis, that would suggest me what to buy for profit. If i take risk i would offer you 20% profit back.
If we split risk 50/50 than i can also share profit 50/50. Is this doable? Who hase any experience on this type of cooperation? Is this reasonable at all?
Trusting my funds to any platforms or new common accounts is not an option at all.
 Cool
1. You don't have to invest in any new projects and top altcoins are more reliable and less risky
2. Don't bother seeking for a advisor or mentor, everyone make mistakes mate, find a way to increase your knowledge, it shows that you can't differentiate between a good project and a weak project
3. Crypto is unpredictable, even if someone become your advisor it doesn't mean the person will always be right, this is why crypto investment is high risk
79  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Most profitable altcoins to mine right now on: December 10, 2020, 02:03:38 PM
New altcoins are becoming more profitable than old popular altcoins and these coins aren't revealed on whattomine platform,

1. Mango coin (Chuckwa) 3.17$ with gtx1660 super
2. Taona coin ( X16R) 2.80$ with gtx1660 super
3. Veil  (RandomX)  1.83$ with gtx1660 super
4. Veriblock  (vProgPow) 1.05$ with gtx1660 super

Since mining Ethereum is now less Profitable I have to find new altcoins to mine and sell for profit, mining Ethereum with a gtx1660 super will give you 0.97$ today.
Thanks for sharing this information, many people are looking for new altcoins to mine probably because of less powerful mining rigs, I'm fully aware of Veil coin and if you don't know it's already available on whattomine as on of the top most profitable coin to mine presently, though veil blockchain allows up to three different algorithms, RandomX is just one of them

well thank you for info, but now difficulty on these may rise and nullify the advantage
Difficulty of new altcoins don't rise in a day, the fastest I've seen was in 2017, I think the project name is Electroneum ETN, people were able to mine millions of this coins at the time and after four weeks it became extremely harder to mine because the difficulty have grow too high, the earlier you jump in the better
