61  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: (Yes or NO) The 2020s belong to DEXs on: September 10, 2020, 06:56:21 PM
Yes and it has grown even more the last few months thanks to Uniswap. Unfortunetly you can not buy anything else then ETH tokens on it. Would be nice to have everything in one place sometime in the future. Once that happens, then crypto is golden.
If current things can work well at Uniswap, then it is not impossible that in the future we will be able to have everything in one place through developments that can be carried out by Uniswap itself.
DEX volume has grown a lot since this thread was created in October 2019.   Shocked

You'll get that with Stakenet's 2nd layer DEX.

They've integrated their own native token: XSN + BTC + LTC, and is working to integrate ETH and it's many tokens next.

The cool thing about this DEX is that's it's gonna be running on their network of 2000+ masternodes, who will act as payment "routers" between everyone who trades on the platform, they will be compensated in fees for this service.

As this DEX is operating offchain you can transact INSTANTLY, with virtually 0 fees involved compared to traditional onchain fees ($30 in some cases for ETH).

All this, while being able to store your coins in the same dApp and being in complete control of your own private keys at all times.  Wink

Here's a cool video showing how it works:

Quote
I was quite surprised to see Stakenet's performance this year, really beyond expectations. I agree that the Stakenet developer team is working
extraordinary that it can make Stakenets soar high enough, it is not impossible that the price of Stakenets can reach $ 1. I will continue to
observe projects Stakenet, because there are not many projects like this.

There's not a single project out there like this. Some seems to be similar, but they work on 1st layer transactions only (on-chain), while Stakenet is working on 2nd layer (off-chain).
Off-chain transactions are capable of unlimited transactions/second which is why its SUCH a powerful thing to integrate, as it pretty much solves all our current scaling issues in a whim.  Wink
ETH's scaling troubles caught me by surprise. I was not expecting $30 gas fees so suddenly.

We'll see ETH gas fees above $100 eventually. Everyone is waiting for ETH 2.0 - I wonder when they'll be ready with it, seems to take forever, lol.
63  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Lightning Network - Thoughts? on: September 09, 2020, 12:41:02 PM
This is quite cool, and exactly the kind of thing that will make people use it.
This is a pic from the latest dev announcement:

pic

When swapping using this inbuilt tool, you'll actually be using the Lightning Network, without even knowing it, it's awesome!  Grin Grin
This is unbeatable. All it needs for wider adoption is Raiden and thats just about done.

Do you know what the time frame is on that? Ethereum integration would be huge I imagine. Tons of projects depends on the ETH chain, so a LOT of volume could go this way whenever they get to it. Instant ETH trading sounds like a dream come true, pretty sick of the long transaction times, haha.
64  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Stakenet - Next short term 10x - Here's why. on: September 09, 2020, 12:39:00 PM
Waiting for 0.4.0.4. This should be fun to try  Grin

Looks sick, is this coming in the next dev build?  Grin
65  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What if "De-Fi" platforms become regulated in the future? on: September 04, 2020, 07:21:39 PM
What part of "DE" in DEFI don't you understand? No offense, lol.

Decentralized = No one can control, or regulate anything.

"DEFI" is used as a buzzword these days to lure suckers in to these crazy PnD scams. Want a real and UNIQUE DEFI project? Do some research on XSN.

XSN is solving the scalability issue on BTC + ETH. Making transactions pretty much INSTANT, and feeless via off chain transaction on a 2nd layer.

There is more info about the whole project in this thread:

66  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][XSN] Stakenet - The World's First Trustless Proof of Stake Coin on: September 04, 2020, 07:17:37 PM
when will our coin be added to major exchanges such as Binance,KuCoin,Bittrex ?

Eventually, dont' worry too much about it.
The DEX is out, which makes XSN way way easier to get your hands on as an investor, since you don't need to trust any centralized exchanges. That's a pretty big deal.

I'm sure XSN will be on the major exchanges at some point, but isn't the biggest priority right now.
67  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Stakenet - XSN - First 2nd Layer DEX - Speculation Thread - Next 100x? on: September 04, 2020, 06:31:05 PM
I got some on a whim. Are you able to stake it?

XSN is a Proof Of Stake project, so yes you can stake it. You can either do it through the official QT wallet. Through "Trustless Proof Of Stake" (Cold Staking), or through their cloud service, where the maximum you can stake is 10k XSN to avoid centralization of the coin. Smiley
68  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Lightning Network - Thoughts? on: September 04, 2020, 06:28:25 PM
I guess it could work if enough people join to it and agree to it, that is how blockchain stuff happens, you have to have people all join in and agree with something before it can be reality, if people do not like the idea they just not care about it.

Look at nano, it was created as so fast that when you send from one google chrome tab to another, the money will go faster than you can switch the tab, we are talking about less than a second transactions, people looked like they cared but now it is less than fifty cents so obviously people do not care about cheap or free and very fast transactions as much as they care about money itself. As long as proof of work stays and people want to make money from it, they will try to keep it that way as long as possible

Crypto today is more than "just" being money. Ethereum is a good example of that. It's a smart contract platform, but functions as money as well.

NANO was hyped up due to the incredible fast transactions, but it's not really something "new", XRP is pretty much the same thing - In terms of transaction speeds, that is.

Stakenet has it all, and will likely touch top 100 CMC soon because of it. Doesn't take a genius to see the overall potential in this project.  Smiley

A lot of projects these days relies on huge ICO fundings, and not as much on the underlying tech.
Utility projects will always perform well, if demand for them stays constant.
69  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Lightning Network - Thoughts? on: August 28, 2020, 02:52:08 AM
XSN/BTC swapped over Lightning on Stakenet DEX and sent immediately to cold storage  Grin

Niiice!

This one could easily reach double digits from my research. Cool to see Beaxy support as well!
Beaxy has a healthy market for what it is. I wish them well, but prefer no KYC

Same.

NO KYC trustless instant trading is what we need. Stakenet's Lightning ⚡ DEX seems to be a good contender for what the whole market needs right now
70  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Has anyone tried Stakenet's Lightning DEX? Instant trading, low fees. on: August 28, 2020, 02:48:14 AM
Definitely a project under the radar for most people, ETH integration could be a game changer, since the fees on Uniswap currently is what everyone is mad about
71  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Stakenet - Next short term 10x - Here's why. on: August 28, 2020, 12:30:08 AM
Huge accumulation going on right now, the price seems to have settled at about 3000 sats. I'm sure we'll see 5-6k in a few weeks, leading up to the launch of the DEX.  Wink
Think we can hit 10k by Christmas?  Cool

Double that.

Remember that we reached 12k sat in 2018 without any DEX, just the launch of the project really.
Once we get enough people onboarded, the price will grow organically.
I can't think of a single project doing more for crypto. It's drastically undervalued.

Agreed, considering they have a working product solving one of biggest problems with crypto right now:

Scaling
72  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Stakenet - XSN - The Next 50x Altcoin Out There? on: August 28, 2020, 12:26:58 AM
Lots of accumulation going on right now.

Tempting to try and swing due to the volatility, but these violent pumps, makes me scared to do so, haha  Grin
73  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Stakenet (XSN) The KING of DEFI - Scaling solution for BTC and ETH on: August 24, 2020, 06:25:15 PM
I guess the one making high gas fees on ETH network is this defi projects listed on Uniswap, we have a trend on Defi now that goes directly to uniswap and they are fighting for gas price increasing it little by little to be prioritize. I am just curious why you called Stakenet as the king of defi? Do they have already a working defi project on stakenet blockchain? Upon checking stakenet explorer some of the supply are on cryptopia which is a hacked exchange.

Yes, they have a fully functional second layer DEX, which is the ONLY one in the world currently. THIS is why it's the KING of DEFI. It solves all the current issues we have in the crypto space right now.

1) High transaction costs
2) Slow Transactions
3) Centralized Trading

There was a bunch of projects affected by the Cryptopia hack, nothing to do about it really, should teach anyone a lesson NOT to store your coins on a centralized exchange though.

Join the Stakenet Discord, and go test the DEX on your own. Wink
74  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Upcoming Defi projects on: August 21, 2020, 04:11:06 PM
Stakenet - XSN

Stakenets DEX is gonna be soft launched after 2 years of development at the end of the month. This is not just "any" new DEX, it's a Lightning Network and Raiden Network compatible DEX, which makes you trade off-chain, giving you the same experience as any other centralized exchange.

INSTANT trading, low fees with BTC and ETH.
Furthermore, NO KYC.

They've implemented liquidity providers, which means you can trade through any centralized exchange (Through API's) giving you complete access to trade without disposing your identity.
Here's quick preview: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wSNFhFBKmsc
75  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Stakenet - Next short term 10x - Here's why. on: August 21, 2020, 04:03:44 PM
I got some hoping that the upcoming dex release pumps the price more.

Or it was already priced in and I just bought high and will have to sell low.

There's room for another 10x, in fact a 50x isn't unreachable either due to the low marketcap.

Hold on to your XSN, trust me, this one is a hidden gem, just waiting to enter CMC's top 100.

GucciBoy I like your optimism, it's nice to see someone believes in a project so much. Because your optimism I will check more
about this project. As I see this project is on 249 place, the price is 0.44 USD. It's a good price, for investing if this projects can
enter in top 100. For the start investing $20 will be enough I think, but I will do my own research and I will invest only then.

Best advice is to join the Stakenet Discord server and ask for access to the DEX beta. That's how you see the bigger picture on this project.
The DEX is seeing amazing volume while still being in beta, which is because trades are instant, with very low fees, which makes it feel like you trade on a centralized exchange. Pretty damn cool
76  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Stakenet (XSN) The KING of DEFI - Scaling solution for BTC and ETH on: August 21, 2020, 04:01:07 PM
I haven't read much about Stakenets (XSN). If Stakenet can be the solution to the problem of high transaction fees and slow transactions on the Ethereum network today, then it will be meaningful.
XSN doesn't have many exchanges yet, it would be good news if XSN was listed on the top exchanges.

Top exchanges hasn't been a priority just yet, as the team never did an ICO. Their dev funds are spent wisely on developments, however the project WILL be listed on bigger exchanges eventually.
-snip-
This stakenet and a bunch user like @OP trying to shiling this token on different board.

I already see a lot of thread about stakenet on almost trading/altcoin board, now they are shining the token by giving some statement about "DeFI" when right now this type investment was quite popular.

There's a ton of projects here "shilled" daily. Give me a break dude.

Stakenet has a VERY active community, and the Twitter engagement outperforms Binance in terms of engagement and audience reach, which is pretty damn impressive.

This one is a sleeper, like it or not.
77  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Stakenet (XSN) The KING of DEFI - Scaling solution for BTC and ETH on: August 19, 2020, 06:04:58 PM
On Dec 22, 2017, the average BTC transaction was $55. See https://bitinfocharts.com/comparison/bitcoin-transactionfees.html

ETH was about $5 per transaction at its peak.

Why did this happen? Transactions were all being done on chain and it got congested.

Uniswap currently has more than 200 mio daily volume, but transactions are on-chain so ETH gas fees are through the roof.

Stakenet is solving this by implementing the Raiden Network, AND the Lightning Network to perform instant off-chain transactions which are way cheaper.

All the fees that are collected from people trading is used to pay masternode owners, AND to buy up XSN and burn it from the total supply.

In other words, XSN will be deflationary, just like Bitcoin. Once people realize how EASY it is to use their DEX, volume is going to go through the roof.

It's currently in BETA, but is being soft launched at the end of the month.  Wink.
78  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Stakenet DEX - Come try the beta on: July 18, 2020, 11:42:03 AM
How far away are the Stakenet devs from implementing ETH, and it's tokens though?
I'll definitely join in on the beta test, only because it seems like liquidity (which is the single most important thing for me), finally have been solved.

Kudos to the XSN team.

Pretty much done, bridge between LN and Raiden done so can swap BTC/ETH or any ERC20. Going to be added to DEX next week to demo but for this first demo will need Raiden client as well.

So for this first demo you have to send your ETH/ERC20 to the Raiden client this is because we haven’t integrated ETH private key management just yet, devs are working on it now so should be done soon. However once your ETH/ERC20 is in the Raiden client our wallet/DEX does everything else. So your ETH balance shows up and you trade on the DEX as normal.

Once the private key management is integrated into the wallet then you won’t need the Raiden client and everything will all be in one place.

Sounds absolutely fantastic.
Ethereum integration will without a doubt get people talking, and using it. I like the convenience of being able to store, and trade from the same place, without needing to send your coins anywhere, where you don't have 100% control on your private keys.

Thanks for explaining it so well, I hope the devs can deliver this soon, I really want to use it as a main wallet for my ETH tokens.

80  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Blocknet's DEX and Xrouter. Might Peak Next Bull Run. $100 Blocknet Speculation. on: June 25, 2020, 05:38:53 PM
Blocknet just dipped below $1, which made me buy a few hundred more. Blocknet enhances the ETH network, makes it more decentralized through data, and oracles.

Who knows how high this project really can go.

I bought as well. I actually believe Blocknet has potential to reach WAY more than $100. Nobody knows though, we'll have to see what kind of partnerships they roll out eventually  Wink
