I'm going to assume you're very young and thus educable, rather than a differently-enabled adult.  This assumption might be unreasonable (and I'm a bit worried that it is), but noblesse oblige dictates I err on the side of kindness.  So here's ur learningz for the day:

While certain philosophers insist that reality doesn't exist outside of perception, this concept is for grownups, so don't try to think about it just yet.  While you're still young, this is all that you need to know:  When NotLambchop is reasonably sure, bet your life on it.

Unlike drool, scribbles and malformed thinkings you make with your own brain, NotLambchop's reasonable assumptions are, indeed, reasonable.

Take NotLambchop's word for it and stop acting out.

Kids these days Angry

Bravo, sir. I suppose when you have nothing else to use, it's quite pathetic to finally resort to name calling and then to follow it up with only reaffirming your "reasonable assumptions." Although that is to be expected, isn't it? You don't have anything else. It's ok though because you'll eagerly come back, type out another post to proclaim your ill-conceived thoughts, tack on some mild insult, and take false comfort in that what you say actually matters. Go on, we're all waiting.

@Another User:  Context.  Qualifiers. <==Learn both Smiley

And of course I don't have the entire picture.  Neither do you.  OTOH, when it smells like shit and it's this sewer, I'm going to assume it's shit.  <==reasonable assumption Smiley

~rolly-eyed smileys~

Oooooh! My turn!

@NotLampChop "Reasonable" assumption ≠ Reality.  Comprehension. <==Understand both Smiley

For someone that claims to "use logic," backing them up with only assumptions doesn't make it any more legitimate. OTOH, when you smell "shit" and you're in "this sewer," kind of makes you wonder why you're even here in the first place, doesn't it? Must be a fetish, maybe I'm just not sure...  Smiley

And I'm not even suggesting that, at the time you made your 600% profit...

JoTheKhan, not sure if I remember you from....

I'm not implying that the board members were paid off...  I also have no idea how many shares... I'm also not clairvoyant...

Not sure where I led you to believe a conspiracy was involved....

Not sure I get it.  What does inflation have to do...

For not having the entire picture, you seem quite sure of it.

any company worth their salt, and as TAT plainly states, FC et. al are millionaires; so any reputable business people that operate a company that generates millions in revenue wouldn't hesitate to spend 50,000$ on documents, lawyers, and independent reviews that plainly show whatever you claim.

but we're talking about people who operate in a country that is notorious and rife with fraud in business dealings.

how about this:

consider if friedcat et al. own rockminer and xtbec.

come on, you're smart. I dont have to spell it out.

Consider any landscape where FC et al. want to wash themselves of AM's shareholders.

I have no proof either way.

And that's all I'm saying here--not understanding how a scam works is not proof of it not being a scam.  Everything beyond that was thrust onto me by ASICMINER fanbois and jittery "investors."  To be clearer still, I never called this a scam--merely pointed out that the odds of losing on this are astoundingly high.  Not only due to FC, but to a slew of third-party risks--exchanges, etc.  The potential upside in no way compensates for this, making this a nonstarter as an investment.

Hope this is a bit clearer.

And I'm not even suggesting that, at the time you made your 600% profit, ASICMINER was setting out to be a scam.
Times were different back then, getting ripped off was still not a certainty and scamming far from a de facto business plan for bitcoin securities.
But time means flux, and today it pretty much is.

But the last few months have raised enough questions that this needs to be explicitly addressed in a manner that involves official statements by many people not acting under a pseudonym that can be examined by some independent group of people. but that's the american way of dealing business. and i would be shocked if that would happen here.

I dunno about that, the mere threat of someone involving chinese authorities forced that beijing bitcoin mining company to give everyone their bitcoins back, very soon after the IPO

That would require that the original IPO investors actually file suit, which is NIGH IMPOSSIBLE with all the BTC they made. It's more likely they would counter-sue this sock puppet's claims.

and hodl,

yesterday was a good day for trading, 0.12 bottom.
now 0.24 with potential to 0.3-0.4 in few days
still great profit opportunity

i hope friedcat will launch some immersion cointainers with own pcb design, a lot of money was dumped into those tanks and installations, i am sure that it will be used or sold in next few weeks.

                  Wow.
                                                Such manipulation.
                     Much BTC.

Don't you think TAT's a scammer for being in bed with NeoBee?

Why do you think he doesn't post on here anymore? All that "insider trading" Havelock mentioned was TAT dumping shares, leaving all other "investors" out to dry. That's why he didn't push any further legal action, he got his BTC out. That's all that mattered to him. "ThickasThieves", a fitting name.

Feel free to point out any of my posts where I have been wrong.

Uses straw man's argument = therefore, can "never be wrong"  Roll Eyes

wat

Each time I called a fail, it failed.
Granted, the odds were stacked in my favor, since almost everything out there is either a scam or just some incorrigible child role-playing bznz, but nothing unfalsifiable about my predictions Smiley

NotLambchop
1) Posts pics of Havelock "assets"
2) Takes data 'X' and misrepresents as 'Y'
3) Insults other users because they don't see it as 'Y'
4) Claims to be right, those who disagree = wrong

Clearly not a straw man's argument  Roll Eyes Cheesy

If by "everyone" you mean investing enthusiasts and finance aficionados, and by "troll" you mean "guy who has been right on the money, each and every time," than we're on the same page Smiley

Can't see anything substantive in what TAT said. Doesn't mean he is wrong. Just nothing substantive.

Nothing concrete, but he was on the board for a few months and may have gotten the sense something underhanded was going on with board members' "own franchises" before deciding to leave.  Makes me wonder who operates these other businesses that AM is selling their Gen3 chips to.

That, plus the fact that friedcat has been awfully quiet for the last several months.  People have speculated that he's been extremely busy and/or doesn't want to reveal his business strategy, but these well-meaning individuals could just be unknowingly providing him cover.  He talked about designating someone for investor relations, but only came up with excuses.  Scammers have a tendency to come up with excuses, instead of solutions, to explain away the red flags.

Always appreciate "info" from another sock puppet that's been here for less than 10 days  Roll Eyes
