Just want to let know all of future participants in this IPO (Not that I advise you to participate!!!)
Before sending your BTC for the IPO check the current price of SWARMPRE (that is what you get for sending BTC to the address)!
Currently you can get better deal like 5600 – 5700 SWARM/BTC. Actually even better deal than at any point in the IPO!

Regarding the AE, I bought part of a stake there. Is there anything I need to do for now or just wait until NEM is formally released?
You got it, you just have to wait until launch. Then you will trade your token for NEM. Had the same question, so thanks for the info! |

since there are too many peers online right now, I do not think all will see my messages here in time.

What would you like to see first guys? A Proof of Importance is it possible?  A beautiful GUI, Asset Qora exchange? Or an anon features? Being the first 2nd gen coin implanted anonymity  Nxt already has AE, there's no reason for Qora have it right away. It's not so popular to have some serious stuff going on there. Big companies would choose Nxt AE over Qora AE anyway. But if Qora become the first 2nd gen coin with implemented anonymity it might be big! NXT is the first to have it BUT if it can be easily and significantly improved??! … so as I said I feel like a child in a candy shop… I do not know what I want first/more.. There's not much to improve, it's just a trading instrument and Qora itself is not established yet to offer AE to companies. We'd need it not earlier than 3-4 months from now. At the moment we need to focus on innovations. To do something no one else did before. As much as I like it… trading on this AE do suck at the moment. And not only having to pay fee for placing/canceling orders. But I see your point about the timing/prioritizing things. |

What is linearcoin?
Linearcoin is a new crypto-currency featuring a block reward that decreases in value in a linear fashion after each block. With block 0 starting at 50 Coins, the reward will gradually decrease linearly by 0.00005. The gradual reduction of reward will help mitigate inflation and Pump/Dump schemes. Panic and other chaos can be completely avoided

Resigning from the lead position was an unfortunate necessity arising from the situation at hand. I do not condone what you did, but you took it in your stride and dealt with it maturely. Acting honourably is a deeply undervalued trait

And NEM can get out of this unpleasant situation stronger than before. But only if it makes the right moves/choices how to handle this. This is move in the right direction I believe From the leader I failed in my personal conduct and not adhere to the rules I set myself. If you are familiar with American politics, now I have the Eliot Spitzer or Anthony Weiner problem.
I had a few sockpuppet accounts but I have no intention of cashing out any of them. I did not write down the sock accounts (using an arbitrary password that I can't remember) neither and plan to donate the fees for the development fund. I created sock accounts to keep the thread at a high demand when we have few supporters. Ghosthouse is the only account I kept using more so that I can use it sometimes to cheer up NEM threads.
It is what it is. I apologize to my core team members, to all NEM supporting developers and helpers for this issue. I will step down from now on.
The task of maintaining NEM stakeholder list will be transfered to Patmast3r. He has been sharing the access to the file with me for quite sometimes. NEMtoken account will be passed to Pastmast3r as well.
NEM Twitter account will be transfered to Makoto and he could pass on to the most suitable person.
NEM development fund accounts will be fully transfered to Jaguar0625, Gimre and Thies1965.
Ournem website will be transfered to the core team as well.
Update and Discussion and Refunds threads will be closed after new threads with similar functions can be made up.
All press contacts will be passed to the core team so that they can find an appropriate person for the job.
I resign from all leading function within NEM and this will be the last post of UtopianFuture.

I was gonna talk shit about Utope but GorillaJam reminded me where my loyalties lie.. on the other side of whatever b.s. is falling from his monkey mouth.
I will wait for Utope's "official statement" before I lace into him. The only thing he can do is attempt to prove to the community that he does not own any extra NEM stakes, as this would violate the principles of the "fairness" of the NEM distribution which is supposedly its big differentiating factor from NXT. He did rail against sockpuppets quite readily so I am interested in seeing the quote where he encouraged people to create sockpuppet accounts.
Then he will remove himself from the project entirely. That is the only honorable and believable course of action. But he said several times he doesn't care about investors, so we'll see what actually happens.
There's no room for him to negotiate himself out of this one. I just hope he decides to do the right thing, admits he messed up and leaves. Keeping him aboard will only harm the project. You can continue believing in your pre-established mindset that NEM can do no wrong or you can admit the reality of the situation to yourself. Its your money.
I was late for this party so I do not have stake. Ever since listing it on the NXT exchange I am thinking hard about buying. It is kind of pricy already but I think it has a great potential to grow! The content of this formal statement will be of great help for my decision! |
