61  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which are you more attracted to: -10 (favorite) or +10 (underdog)? on: June 08, 2024, 08:40:54 AM
If I compare this in football terms which will be a handicap of -2 or +2 due to the low scoring nature of football matches. I will realistically rather go for the favorites with a handicap of -2 than to back the underdogs except when I really fancy the underdogs, but handicapping the favorites will make the odds very unattractive with how low it will be.

If I calculate I will have bet more on the underdogs the times I really fancy them with how attractive the odds are and maybe throw in a handicap of (+1) or place a live bet during the match if the underdogs are looking likely or have scored a goal already.

Citizens are threatening to reduce community service, women's, and youth football budgets if APT rules are not change to allow the team to compete financially. These guys have been moving like PSG throughout the years, with bogus sponsorship deals and all.
The hearing is almost here. We will have to wait and see how it goes, especially the aftermath from whoever losses the case.
If VAR were in place Arsenal would not have won any league titles. Banks of England, The Emirates - all the shitty bloody illegal money pumped into your club since the 80s. Pretend to be shocked....

You consolidate inputs so that you can make your tx smaller with just one input so you save fees, what's the point of spending x10 times on the normal fees on the consolidation...
It will not make sense to any of us here, but some how someone with large amounts of bitcoins do not know how to properly estimate the feerate of the network and there are some who are deliberately spamming the network by throwing money at the wheel to slow it down.
This has happened too often and we should be expecting it from time to time.

65  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⭐⚽⚽ Sportsbet's EURO 2024 Last Man Standing - 0.1 BTC minimum reward ⚽⚽⭐ on: June 07, 2024, 07:51:26 PM
Even favorites score 75-80% of points on average. At a distance of 3 games, the value of the third game is 30% and the possibility that after two rounds the position in the group is already completely determined is very rare.

I do not think it is rare and have not done any actual research on it, so we will leave it at that. It even does not matter if there is  "group of death" but I am expecting a very exciting group stage.

Why was there any of the rancor with the dropping of Grealish from the 26' man squad. The forwards available for Southgate are very talented and competition is very tight for a spot. I think he may have just edged Ivan Tooney but it could fall either way with how both were out of resular football for a huge patch of last season.

66  Economy / Gambling / Re: Are there any good betting websites for the upcoming Euro on: June 07, 2024, 10:26:11 AM
Guys can you recommend any good betting websites that are legal and benefeciary?
I do not know what beneficiary means, but legal and reputable sports betting site? I will recommend Sportsbet.io. It is great for sports betting and has good support team here on the forum.

If you are looking for a good casino, try Live Casino or Shuffle.

The unprofessionalism shown here is unheard of - you act like a bunch of amateurs, not like some serious betting business. And your attitude...
They have had 5 pages of replies telling them they are in the wrong but have not bulged even a bit, they rather came back with a flimsy evidence from Instagram which should not get a second look and then deleted that when they did not get the "shocked" response they were expecting.

I will give them the room to reply before tagging them, but I do not fault you for doing it now, maybe that is the push they need to act professional.

It is very, very unlikely that will happen in the near future and very unlikely it would happen in the distant future but is not impossible.

I do not think there is any existing coin that can deliver the features bitcoin has better than it does, in the future it is possible, do not hold your breath however.

In general, when in almost every group 3 teams move on at once, it is quite difficult to find a group of death or a group where there will be an interesting fight.
It may make the group stages competitive from the beginning to the end. Usually after the first 2 games, teams that will drop have already been decided and the last game will have one or two teams not giving their all. With the knowledge that you can be the best loser teams will keep fighting till the very end of tournament for a shot at qualifying.

There is already an existing thread to discuss all things related to the EURO 2024 tournament, another thread is very unnecessary and makes the board looks messy.

You can lock this thread and move this discussion over to the other one.

71  Economy / Speculation / Re: BITCOIN will be $350,000 by August 25, 2024 - Robert Kiyosaki on: June 06, 2024, 12:33:59 PM
Everyone here will want Bitcoin to reach that amount in that time, and anyone can predict an amount, especially when they clearly state that it is just a dream or wish and not an indication of where the market is heading. I do not see a way Bitcoin gets above $350k before August.

This may be Robert using his influence to boost the market value of assets he is holding and using that means to throw in Sol and ETH along with BTC.

They are suing the Premier League for discrimination and an incorrect interpretation of the rules. It's more like saying you're accusing us of breaching the rules when your rules aren't clearly stated and lack merit.
They are not saying the interpretation is wrong, but the rules are entirely wrong, using terms like: "the tyranny of the majority" making themselves out to be the oppressed minority. Although the rule was hurriedly set up after Newcastle got new owners.

You are blocking us from conducting business with our third-party partners and so forth. This way, when the premier files a case against them in court, they can easily reply, "No, we have a case against you in court challenging your rules."
That is not the plan. The suit against them starts around November and this particular hearing starts next week, will run for six weeks and there is no room for appeal. This will be closed long before then, they have to win the case for it to impact the case against them.

Funny how your cheekily removed Arsenal from the list.  Grin
If this rules were in place earlier, Abrahamovic would have not been able to spend money from outside the club to build Chelsea when he took over. We are removed from the list, I did not remove ourselves. It is you who cheekily added us in.

73  Economy / Gambling / Re: Potential Match Fixing involving Finnish teams FC Futura and Ilves-Kissat on: June 05, 2024, 08:42:08 PM
There seems to be a market for selling fixed matches and Ilves Kissat is mentioned there quite often.   For example, on instagram, 4th and 5th picture at https://www.instagram.com/jay_chinea/
This is not the evidence you think it is. Would it make sense to suspend the results of all clubs that mentioned in what seems to be a market for fixed matches? Do a random search on any random small club on instagram and come back with the results you see.

I have been silently reading the entire conversation and have my own perception of the issue which is in line with what the majority of people here have voiced out. Fairlay is in the wrong here and have no solid ground to seize the balance of this user and suspend them and you will be building a very bad reputation for yourself if you continue at it.

Just one arbitrator should be enough. So far, we would go for holydarkness, who was recommended to us first and signaled his willingness to participate.
No, you will need at least 2, 3 will be perfect cause then you have a tie breaker, but 1 is no arbitration at all.

That is ll well. I should have actually said not to take financial advice from anyone at all and always do your own research with information provided. You say you have other parameters, so I can only say proceed cautiously.

Edit- Do not write a post right under your previous reply. It is possible to quote more than one people into a single post. While typing a reply scroll down to the previous replies and you will see a button to insert quote. Click on that and that text is added to what you are typing.

75  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling is a fun activity but it has some potential to be profitable sometimes on: June 05, 2024, 08:13:38 PM
When you bring luck into it, you realize that the probability of being the lucky one to make life-changing money is very slim to near impossible. The hope that they will be lucky one day is what keeps a lot of addicted gamblers playing and putting a lot of money into it.

You may even be getting your smaller wins cause you are playing under less pressure and staking small amount you can easily spare. When you stake above your means, you get more desperate with each loss and it begins a cycle of constantly trying to win back the money you lost and losing more.

I should have paid when I said I would, now fees have gone through the roof and I will have to wait it out for sometime before I can officially join in.

While we are on the topic of a higher buy in, I will be all for it too, except some people have already paid and should not be forced to make two transactions with two separate fees.

I advise you to be cautious before interacting with any contract, granting permissions through your wallet, or installing any malicious programs or browser extensions.
I will advise to not interact with any contract that poses a security risk, do not grant permissions through your wallet holding other finds and never install any malicious program or browser extension.
Use an alternate wallet and device if possible, every-time you are compelled to take a risk with an airdrop.

Talk of the devil - Manchester City took the Premier League to court; now who is guilty? Premier League, or Manchester City? Taking the war to your enemies' lands before they do, holding them by the balls, and allowing both parties to settle out of court is a wise tactic in my opinion.
They are basically telling the Premier league, "we did not break your rules, your rules were broken from the beginning"

This suggests that they think the hearing will not go in their favor and they want to stay ahead of the proceedings, but I do not think they are the only club who have lost some level of faith in how the league is handling the legal part of business.

Edit; I did some research and the suit from City has nothing to do with any of the charges against them

Honestly I don't think they've done anything different from what Liverpool, Chelsea, Manutd and Arsenal has been doing over the years - undisclosed fees shit and all that... We're just jealous  Grin

...And we have moderators who are doing their work perfectly well by removing irrelevant post to occupy the space, was saying if is not better to DELETE it completely than keep the post where even the OP won't want to continue posting.
Irrelevant posts gets trashed regularly. For a thread to be moved to the off-topic board, it is relevant enough to remain on the forum and will attract good discussions for those interested, but does not fit into any of the general boards.

Mods do not use off-topic board as a quick fix.

BTW, after some digging and a few adjustements of the questions, here is what ChatGPT4 estimated:
Do not take financial advice from ChatGPT or any AI tool. What these tools do is sum up popular answers from different sources and mash that into one answer. The popular answer is usually the wrong answer when it comes to financial situations.
