61  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Over the next months meme coin investors will get most rich on: May 29, 2024, 07:15:46 AM
I think regardless of how Bitcoin is doing in the market the top 5 meme coins according to the market capitalisation have been pumping. This kind of pump in meme coins make me believe that they will be the one starting the alt season. Bitcoin has been moving sideways whereas meme coins haven't been doing the same for the last 30 days.
62  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum Price Predictions? Predict the new ATH! on: May 29, 2024, 12:54:08 AM
I was going through the market dominance on CMC and found that Ethereum is still holding onto its dominance of 18% after the ETF approval. Whereas on price term it is still following Bitcoin. I was expecting it to reach atleast $4k after the ETF approval news. Looks like we will need to wait until for spot ETF trading to start for some price traction.
63  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Binance launches Notcoin (NOT) on launchpool. on: May 29, 2024, 12:43:47 AM

If I look at the shape of the graph, the potential for decline is still ongoing, unless it starts to form a circle upwards,

Usually there is a pump but it doesn't pump too much.

If you want to buy, use the dynamic reverse model. Don't do it all at once because the shape is still steep downwards.

But, there has been a good pump in the price of NOT coin since yesterday. From $0.0056 it has now gone upto $0.093 which is looking good. The speculative price before the listing was $0.01 which I think it is going to achieve in a day or two. I doubt it is a whale manipulation as it is going up through organic pump.
64  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should i buy more Catwifhat after getting free airdrop ? on: May 28, 2024, 11:46:48 PM
Meme coins are risky investments as they are community driven. They don't hold any kind of utility and there are chances that an investor can lose everything invested in one single dump. Catwifhat has already established itself in the crypto market as it has good market capitalisation. The current trend is still showing that investing in meme coins is far profitable in the short term than in other coins.

If you are okay with the risk and if you want to gain some profits then I think you should buy more but do diversify your meme coin portfolio. Do remember that you need to research before you invest in them.
65  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The Rise of Autonomous Car Racing on: May 28, 2024, 11:39:45 PM

When we talk about racing, we talk about the drivers, compare their performances, and all other odds but this is kind of different. It is all about betting on superior tech. Would you bet on an autonomous vehicle? How do you feel about placing your wagers on a race where the competitors are machines rather than humans?

Car racing is no longer the same with the introduction of AI to a car. I am hearing about such a racing foe the first time and it will be interesting to see how teams will perform with their self driving cars. Since it is being organised for the first time, putting a wager will be risky for now. A few more such competition will give more details about a team and its car performance. After that betting on these cars will be somewhat easier than now.
66  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How are your meme bags doing? on: May 28, 2024, 11:31:45 PM
I invested a little bit on Pepe and Floki a few weeks back. Both are looking good for now but how long they will keep going up is constantly coming up on my mind. I planning to hold on to them for a month and then looking at the maket condition will decide whether to accumulate more or sell them. Looking the the way some of the established meme coins are performing I do feel they will be again trending in the market when the next bull run returns.
67  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: $BOME Time to buy? on: May 28, 2024, 11:15:08 PM
There is already an existing topic on BOME.https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5497945.0
I don't think creating another topic to discuss about the same meme coin is a good idea on the speculation board. You can close this thread and be part of the discussion on the existing thread.
68  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Forget Bitcoin - Memecoins Like Pepe, FLOKI and Bonk Are the Big Gainers Now on: May 28, 2024, 11:06:05 PM
All three have been impressive in the short bull run that happened at the beginning of this year. All three have been steadily pumping once again for a month now. I don't understand what was the reason behind thier pump but if you look at other utility coins and compare them with Pepe, Floki and Bonk then you will see these three meme coin geneating more returns still than others.
69  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Utility Make Memecoins More Stable? on: May 28, 2024, 10:47:41 PM
I doubt that adding utility will stabilize a meme coin. I think meme coin won't be called a meme coin if you add utility to it. The core reason why they are so trending is because of thier community and they are cheap to buy. When NFTs were are trend at that time a lot of people claimed that they won't last long. Well, they are still in the market and have different kind on investors in that same manner meme coins will continue to last in the crypto market.
70  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I Need Good Recommendations For Dexs On Solana on: May 28, 2024, 08:37:33 AM
Hi folks! Based on your trading experience, what other good dexs are there on Solana?

I've been using Raydium ever since I first started transacting in Sol chain and I'm looking to explore some new options. Raydium has served me well, but I'm curious to hear about other quality decentralized exchanges on the Solana network that you've had success with. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated as I aim to diversify my DeFi activities. I'm open to exchanges with unique features, competitive trading fees, and strong liquidity. Looking forward to hearing your thoughts!

You are already using a good DEX, you can check Jupiter. It has more volume and good liquidity than others mentioned in your thread. I personally haven't used it but in late January this year it surpassed Uniswap. You can find the details about fees that they charge on this website link https://station.jup.ag/docs/apis/adding-fees
71  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BOME would double soon on: May 28, 2024, 02:08:35 AM
After your post about Pepe, I invested a small amount and did get a decent profit for the short term. After that, I have been following BOME and Floki and I think both might see the same kind of increase as Pepe is doing. Today Floki has gone up by more than 10% BOME has gone up by 7% and Pepe is going through correction for now. I think it would be a good investment idea if all three can be bought for short-term profit as all three are looking good for now.
72  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum Price Predictions? Predict the new ATH! on: May 28, 2024, 02:01:27 AM
Predictions that we certainly can't reach with precision. Estimates of the halving that will occur this year show that there are many opportunities for ETH to reach a new ATH. In terms of price movements, Bitcoin is still very minimal, Ethereum could reach $90,000 in the next few months. From this we can conclude that Ethereum has been approved by the SEC, which will have a big increase in the future.

I do not think the price will exceed the current price of Bitcoin, I feel the maximum the price will move up would be upto $20k. Above all the trading has not started yet and might happen before November this year. As of now only the approval has been given and there are a few changes that have to be done by the financial institution that had applied for the spot ETF. For the time being the price of Ethereum is still being controlled by the price of Bitcoin and speculation.

74  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best guide amd step to learn to buy and trade on: May 26, 2024, 09:03:27 AM
Hi i am new into crypto world and i want to learn as much as possible so i ask if anyone know what is the basic steps to start and what guide is the best? I understand this is most different from what people think.. but it cant hurt to read it all.
First i just want to buy bitcoin for around 1000€. i will look at youtube today what the best way to do it is, then i want to learn trading but i will wait for that until i have teach myself more. we all start from scratch sometime?
I am so thankful for alll members here that taking their time to help me

The books suggested by barbara44 are good for understanding trading but be prepared to lose your investment when you start trading using a crypto exchange. It is not that easy as it sounds or seen and you will hardly find free time as a trader. Investing in Bitcoin is the best decision you have taken but remember Bitcoin is very volatile and you need to have patience to achieve your profit goal.
75  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Could This Web3 Project Be Aiming For Greener Solutions? on: May 26, 2024, 08:57:35 AM
Environment friendly mining is an old concept and it didn't work well and most projects died down after POW mechanism was replace by POS. There are a few coin in the market that are still using mining and I don't think that launching a new solar mining project will work in these times.
76  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: We are looking for talented people who can promote our amazing project. on: May 26, 2024, 08:49:27 AM
Best way to promote your project is by organising a bounty campaign. You ca hire bounty hunters depending on how you want to market you project and then pay them in your tokens as a reward. There are few bounty managers within the forum whom you can hire to hlp you with the bounty campaign. Creating a topic on the altcoin board and asking for help with promotion will lead to nowhere.
77  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: After the Ethereum ETF(s), which altcoin will be next? on: May 26, 2024, 08:33:56 AM
There are two probables as per my understanding the first one is Litecoin and I am not sure why its name in not in the top on the poll. Then next will be Solana but I am certain it will face same issues like Ethereum did. Litecoin is more likely to get approved first as it's a fork of Bitcoin and then most likely Solana. I doubt any others on that list will have thier ETFs approved before the bull run.
78  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will altcoins ever cheap again? on: May 26, 2024, 08:18:33 AM
Altcoin are always cool to buy but it depends on the specific altcoin you want to buy and hold, let say going for the establishment coin are never cheap to buy such ethereum or BNB they way back expensive to acquire currently. There are some newly launched altcoin you could buy that are very cheap but most times you can be sure of the people behind the project because most of them could tends to have good intentions towards the project but at last have evil agenda to scam, so to me it's advisable to buy reputable coin irrespectively of how expensive they could be it is more better.

I guess the OP is talking about those days when Altcoins hit rock bottom and not long ago SOL used to trade under $8 before surging, not about coins which are cheap because we know that you don't invest into Altcoins by looking at the value as cheaper coins doens't mean higher profit as this was the widely misunderstood thing in the past. I think we will see the season which OP has mentioned only during bear market not in midst of bull season.

There are still cheap coins available in the market and these coins have good potential. It is the lazy attitude of OP that he is unable to find those gems. Big coins have already surpassed that level when they were dirt cheap I agree on that point but there are a few gems and those gems have been discussed in the forum that are still low in value and have the potential of giving good returns.
79  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think about the potential of $Waves? on: May 26, 2024, 08:04:12 AM
Hi, some years back Waves has been hyped as the next Etherium. What do you all think about this project? Does it still have any potential?
if there wasn't this topic then I would have forgotten about this $waves token lol, I still remember around 2018 $waves attracted a lot of attention from investors until the price rose quickly but as time went by, investors withdrew their funds from waves because the developer does not have good innovation for the future of token waves, there is little chance for token waves to return to ATH imo.

But when you check the chart. Its evident that it has successfully broken all of its previous ATHs during every bull market

It only went through one bull cycle and after gaining it's ATH it has been dumped heavily and that is the concern. If an alt is not able to hold on to its price then it means the demand is not much and to increase its demand the development team needs to add new features to the platform. If your holding the coin then keep on holding them untill the price comes back to where it was when you bought them and then exit.
80  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: arb to eth? on: May 26, 2024, 07:56:04 AM
i have been trying to swap some of my usdt to btc but it is asking me to have a minimum amount of eth to continue the transaction now I have arbeth but it still won’t proceed even though i have more than the minimum amount

is arbeth not counted as eth? someone help me pls i am confused and desperate

As per my understanding you are trying to swap USDT (ERC20) to BTC(ERC20). In that case you would require to have Ethereum which will act as a gas to process the transaction. ARB is an ERC20 governance token for the Arbitrum layer 2 blockchain. It cannot act as a gas when you are trying to process and ERC20 swap.
