We've got new signatures btw, they look great!
Check your PM as I believe we've all been messaged  Cool

Yes... clearly anyone who exhibits any concerns or doubts in the months during which there is no new information is "spreading FUD" or a "hater". Couldn't possibly be that such comments are perfectly legitimate in the face of a lack of information, lack of dividends, and a repeated failure to live up to promises/expectations.

But there are people who have a problem with AM for whatever reason - and pounce with poison at any given opportunity.

I think some of them have competing interests in the space.
Or, some might have something personal or hurt feelings.

But, they really do try to make shit worse.

That's definitely true.
I'm not a conspiracy theorist, but a lot of these "trolls" I strongly believe have ulterior motives...

Time is an investment. Either trolls have a pitiful social life or they indeed have some hidden agenda. Anyway i admit its been rough times as an AM investor. Still believe its for the best tho. Bring it on FC.

64  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ethereum: Welcome to the Beginning on: September 26, 2014, 09:26:49 AM
When Ethereum hits the market.........I'll be there to pick up the pieces of all the get rich quickers who don't know anything about long term development.  I missed out on the IPO but now that I think about it I'm not saddened...chup.  I'll be there at the dip and support Ethereum when all others make their mistakes.

+1! I guarantee people will be picking up Etherium at levels well below the IPO price. And I will be amongst them  Smiley

Even though I bought in at IPO, I agree and will be there too purchasing more
65  Economy / Securities / Re: ASICMINER: Entering the Future of ASIC Mining by Inventing It on: September 23, 2014, 09:26:18 AM
This I have been wondering too.

The fact RS hasn't been commenting too much could mean this is the case  Cool

Brief
ASICMiner Prisma is based on a proprietary X48 design for BE200. It greatly reduces power
consumption of the device per GH/s compared to the X24 design.

...

Power consumption: ~0.67 W/G board-wise. On-wall power consumption relies on PSU
efficiency. (typically 1050-1100 W per full device, 0.75-0.78 W/G)

Nice. I wonder how they managed to squeeze improve power efficiency by ~25% compared to the X24 design.

But even though this further destroys the mining competition, it probably requires nerves of steel to continue investing in miners at this time.

I'm also very impressed by this. Not only that they managed to squeeze so much power efficiency, but also the size of the device.

Regarding efficiency: Do I understand correctly that 0.75 W/G puts the Prisma at the top in terms of efficiency among devices that are currently shipping?
Is there any other company currently shipping devices with efficiency equal or greater to 0.75 W/G?

66  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Block Erupter Prisma (>=1.4 T/device, 0.75-0.78 W/G, <1 BTC/T, October Shipping) on: September 22, 2014, 03:10:52 PM

I was about to post on here defending SgtSpike, as I can vouch for him.

But then I looked closer SqtSPike.....

What is it with this "community" and the attraction to it for fraudsters and cons  Huh
Pseudo anonymity no doubt.

Hi there!

Interested in 1Ag6xaHL - You say you're open to offers? Also, insured shipping to the UK, cost please?

Thanks!!

Hahaha, within 2 mins of posting this I have had a message from 'SqtSpike' trying to defraud me. Nice try dude, I may be new, but I'm not stupid!

Could you imagine if that was the case  Grin

https://blockchain.info/address/3MkwFfGNQDve7vz1z6gUDVxkuQpcSV3Mz8

I'm still pretty sure this is the address to look out for it has been receiving 300-1000btc per day for at least two weeks back from other AM addresses

Today it received 6000btc so far

wow[...]

im definitely not saying this is the div payout address...just a wallet most likely owned by AM that has alot of BTC flowing thru it daily

New post to highlight significance.  Funds moved out of original (old solo) mining address to https://blockchain.info/address/1ERszMSERwHNR9Xty73KZXpsg1jjBXWcHh.

This address in turn links to many of the other addresses mentioned through a ~500 BTC  transaction to https://blockchain.info/address/16V3hoVfbQmpQQpCSkAirjVHGfSFoDFSbW (to sign these tx's, FC would have to hold the private keys to all inputs), including, most notably:

https://blockchain.info/address/19iVyH1qUxgywY8LJSbpV4VavjZmyuEyxV
https://blockchain.info/address/3MkwFfGNQDve7vz1z6gUDVxkuQpcSV3Mz8

https://blockchain.info/address/1B9KrM7bjhJ42qJSWr1KJrNTAP1SNGMpJu

The transactions

I'd seen these addresses a number of times before and have mentioned them in this forum, but the tx that definitively links them is when the funds were sent from 1HtUGfbDcMzTeHWx2Dbgnhc6kYnj1Hp24i (AM's old solomining address which has been receiving the BTCGuild output) to 1ERszMSERwHNR9Xty73KZXpsg1jjBXWcHh earlier this morning.

Also, in case anyone's looking (I'm out of BTC after buying AM shares earlier in the night after the aforementioned tx) - there's an arb opp to sell MINE/SELL pairs back to twentyseventy for BDD at the 0.01051/0.0055 level.

 Wink

So either those are AM wallets or friedcat transferred a bulk share of AM's books to an exchange to temporarily crash the BTC-USD price and allow potential buyers to buy tubes/shares before using the fiat to buy back in at a BTC profit (which, granted, would be pretty far-fetched, extremely risky, and would make shareholders very uncomfortable)

71  Economy / Services / Re: Butter Bot!: Premier Bitstamp, and BTC-E EMA Trading Platform on: September 08, 2014, 11:20:45 AM
Thank you both  Grin

It will be very helpful if one of the China exchanges can be supported. This is because most of them do not charge trading fee and as you know, trading fees take up a lot of the cost in EMA trading.

Which would you recommend?

BTC China.

Indeed, it seems nice Smiley :

Deposit Fee
CNY Deposit: Free.
BTC Deposit: Free.
LTC Deposit: Free.
Withdrawal Fee
CNY Withdrawal: 0.38%,withdrawal amount less than 200 CNY cost 2 CNY fee.

73  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] Official Shareholder Discussion Thread [Moderated] on: September 05, 2014, 07:31:56 AM
This is an interesting development given the lack of any chunky news of late.

If legitimate (and we don't know) then it would suggest that Ken is, at least, continuing to fulfil some of his obligations.  Yes of course we can criticise this all day long with a barrage of arguments 'against', but at this stage it's probably better to read more into his actions as a way of understanding HIS situation in the hope we get some clarity on ours.

Given the probability that Ken wants to communicate with his shareholders but is prevented from doing so without potentially incriminating himself (see Charlie Shrem vs Uncle Sam) then it could appear that it's 'business as usual for Ken' and he might even hold some of that zumzero optimism that you all miss, hehe.

Seriously though, we're proper fucked.  Grin

Double seriously though, I do think there are a few more twists and turns before this thing plays out.

Hodling, it's the funky way.  Wink

Edit;  not everyone who receives a product from Ken will post in a bitcointalk thread so there could be moar.

It most definitely is!!   Cool
74  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [VMC] The Official Virtual Mining Corporation Hardware Discussion on: September 05, 2014, 07:23:49 AM
Would you mind having a look to see if there is a locale for where it was dispatched from at all?

The card looks real.  I have not tried it.

I guess I could try it out, but I would rather just sell it.

Good question.....

Hi,

I just got one of the 750GH Cards that I was not expecting.  I ordered a system back in December.
First I was not sure what it was but now I figured it out.

I looked at this video and it matches.

VMC Gold Rush 750gh/s 28nm Bitcoin ASIC Mining Card

The box only was white no cover.

The question is I would like to sell this card and at least recoup some of the money.

Any one suing these guys let me know.

Thanks

51.88 btc join the dividend.

Is this historically good for an AsicMiner dividend?
78  Economy / Securities / Re: ASICMINER: Entering the Future of ASIC Mining by Inventing It on: August 27, 2014, 01:25:28 PM
Most importantly, it can only be used to mine on one pool,

Which pool(s) must it be used to mine on? Wouldn't this be an indication that the self-mining is proceeding with these pools?

Is this limitation because of the hardware, the controller, or ...?

That's a really good point!
79  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [WTS] 2011 & 2013 1 BTC Casascius coins on: August 26, 2014, 09:46:36 AM
Hello  Grin

Has the 6 been sold SgtSpike?
Hi funk!  The MS66 coin?  No it has not been sold...!

I don't know why I typed that, I meant "2011 ERR 1 BTC graded MS64 - 4 BTC"
80  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: ASICMiner Tube Sales Information Thread on: August 24, 2014, 08:51:26 AM
Are there any trusted UK/European re-sellers selling small batches of this item or is everyone going direct?

I presume the answer is no for the time being?

I am also intrested for buying if you have European resellers.

There was an "approved" and trusted European reseller who I purchased a small quantity of Asicminer usb block erupters from.

However; I no longer have the communications stored with them and for the life of me cannot remember their Bitcointalk profile....
