61  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Many U.S. stores giving shoplifters choice of punishment — but is it coercion? on: March 01, 2015, 03:03:10 AM
The only problem I have with this, is that people with money can afford to pay a private company in order to avoid criminal prosecution.

Might save only the rich kleptomaniacs.
If the cost of the course is greater than the value of the goods being stolen, most thieves would stay away.
62  Economy / Speculation / Re: When will BTC again reach 400$+ on: March 01, 2015, 03:00:23 AM
If the next price rise starts, I would think pretty soon.
My guess is May-June 2015. The uptrend should start by then.
63  Economy / Speculation / Re: February 2015, the month nothing happened. on: March 01, 2015, 02:59:15 AM
With the kind of drops we have witnessed in the past, a quiet month is actually good for Bitcoin.  Smiley
64  Economy / Speculation / Re: Apple ? Goodbye. on: March 01, 2015, 02:58:11 AM
Apple urging citizens not to give up their privacy is a good thing.
Why should it result in Apple's end?
65  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why the US Government Is Terrified of Hobbyist Drones on: February 27, 2015, 01:01:29 AM
The other side of it is, if enough common people attach cameras to drones, they will be able to record all the bad stuff government does. Videos of recognizable government people or government vehicles could cause all kinds of Senate inquiries into why government was doing whatever it was doing wherever it was doing it. This could get certain government agencies stripped of their funding, certain government people prison terms, and the objectives and agendas of the One-World-Government-Elite set back for years if not forever.

66  Other / Politics & Society / UN climate change panel chief resigns amid sexual harassment investigation on: February 27, 2015, 12:56:30 AM
Quote
Rajendra Pachauri, the head of the United Nations Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, resigned from his post Tuesday after an employee at his research firm accused him of sexual harassment.

Indian law enforcement officials are investigating the claims from a 29-year-old female employee of the Energy and Resources Institute, or TERI, in New Delhi. The allegations against Pachauri, 74, include claims that the influential climate change authority repeatedly sent suggestive text messages, e-mails, and WhatsApp messages to the researcher, the woman’s lawyers told the Guardian. Some of those alleged messages have been published in Indian media reports.

The more time you spend with her, the more you get to know each other.
Over a period of time, love blossoms.  Smiley
68  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin fall blamed on impatient traders on: February 25, 2015, 03:39:27 PM
As long as traders make money, they care two hoots about what happens to bitcoin's price or the bitcoin economy.
They have their priorities laid out before them, very clearly.

All it will take is one attempted attack on the White House / Pentagon before the media starts getting paranoid about it.
71  Other / Politics & Society / Re: ISIS burn 45 people to death in captured Iraqi town of al-Baghdadi on: February 25, 2015, 03:35:19 PM
My question is, why UN still not react after some mascare happen before ?
What ISIS do now is crime for humanity. It will be easy to eliminated ISIS threat if UN declared war / punish for ISIS.
UN has enough fund and human resources to do this, send ground troops and eliminate all ISIS threat before they make another attacks which can be happen in every country in this world.

The UN is after all made up of member nations.
Member nations are not keen to get engaged in a long war in an alien nation.
There are peace keeping missions undertaken by the UN, but these are presumed to be temporary solutions.

The UN is far more effective in convincing member states to impose economic embargoes. This won't work with ISIS.

well 400 isn't too far away, it could be reached in no time really, just a matter of bots, manipulation, good news and other random things

When the next bull run starts, 400 will be crossed in no time.
75  Economy / Speculation / Re: 100 bitcoins. Will I be a millionaire by 2020? on: February 22, 2015, 10:23:51 AM
you'll be rich

don't let money change you

He's already rich if he can afford buying 100BTC. At least in my view. I'd be happy to have 10.

100 BTC is around 25k dollar right now...
Still a lot especially if you follow the "invest only what you can afford to lose" rule.

Yup, 100 btc is way out of my league.

80  Economy / Speculation / Re: One of the biggest Wall Street Bitcoin bulls just turned bearish on: February 19, 2015, 03:59:06 AM

The topic should read
One of the biggest Wall Street Bitcoin bulls just made a bearish statement

You really don't know whether that is what he really thinks, or whether he is just talking the market down.
