61  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [HYP] Let's take a closer look at HyperStake SCAM on: October 23, 2014, 04:57:51 AM
For information: if you notice something factually wrong here, please report it to me. Otherwise, let fudders give us free publicity; it is always appreciated to increase volume, which leads to lesser volatility and wider adoption, which in turn are fundamental for continuing experimenting on a grander scale.

David, when has any of your coins gained "wider adoption"?
How many coins have you had a hand in? Eleven? Does that sound about right?
All your coins are just made for exchanges. Everyone knows this, even your bagholders know this.
You're a cloner. That's it. You make money for yourself and your pals at the expense of the trusting, voiceless majority.
You're part of the disease that is holding back crypto.

No matter how many times you proclaim how important you are in crypto, no matter how many times you post links of your simple-minded comments to Polo's trollbox trying to impress some noob, people know who you are, David.

I know for a fact that even some members of the Monero team are embarrassed to be associated with you, David.

Yes, I'm a bagholder and I help this coin to grow and I'm not going to stop. We see this project as the part of the future (it's something you can't understand, because you think with archaic stereotypes, you even didn't read the materials).

Grow where? What future?
You are either a bagholder who hasn't realized his profit or just plain delusional.
Hyperstake isn't going anywhere. Its developers and cronies made over a 1000% in profit based on a simple fork.
When people buy Hyperstake, they are just giving David, you and other bagholders pure profit.
Which credible merchant will be crazy enough to use this coin as a payment option?
Which credible investor will be crazy enough to invest in a coin with a shady dev with a bagful of other coins around his belt?
If crypto is regulated like stocks, David and the lot of you will be rotting in jail by now.

This took an unexpected twist. I am unaware of David's other conquests...

I watch TEKs & wanted to buy. waited & waited for price coming down. Then price crash and i think i should buy. Then look at thread & lot of problems with wallet and biomek the dev did not fix. I have hypcoin now instead. Devs always fix problem  Undecided

You think scam ---- i think good.

The technology side is good; the wallet is excellent.

It's the initial distribution and deception that make this a scam. A shame, really.
64  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [HYP] Let's take a closer look at HyperStake SCAM on: October 22, 2014, 10:35:33 PM
iantunc, bottom line is if these guys were honest they wouldn't try to bury information like they've done by editing out the fork date in the ANN.. This kind of behaviour screams scam and if you can't hear it, it's because you don't want to listen.

presstab's response in this thread pretty much amounts to "oops, coulda woulda shoulda.. didn't know HYP would be so big" riiight.. He's the cliche super friendly leader in the trollbox, tipping people for the stupidest reasons etc. This is again typical scam behavior. Spend some time in the polo box and see how quick his attitude gets ugly when anyone questions his beloved HyperScam, and watch as the henchmen David & Co. begin to appear in the box to defend their shitcoin.

Billotronic, how long did it take you to write all that? I guess if an anonymous posting on a Bitcoin internet forum is enough to get you this riled up, maybe there's more here than you're willing to admit.

Thanks for all the personal attacks as well, really goes a long way in showing your true colors.

You might be okay with noobs buying this shitcoin for 7000 or 8000 sats each when the developers and their tightly knit circle jerk buddies scammed their way into millions of free coin. I'm not.
67  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [HYP] Let's take a closer look at HyperStake SCAM on: October 22, 2014, 04:22:19 PM
Could someone translate the OP's allegation to me? I really don't understand...what is his point?

Disclaimer: I don't own any HYP, I am just trying to understand.

I apologize if I wasn't clear..

The point is that the coin distribution is fraudulent. Forking a coin into a new one is fine, the issue here is that these guys KNEW they were going to fork TRK days/weeks beforehand..  yet they only posted the ANN hours before the actual fork was to happen. This means that for days/weeks, the scammers knew any TRK they owned would entitle them to free HYP, and were free to accumulate TRK unnoticed...

I don't see how this is any different than releasing a cpu only coin, while the devs have a GPU miner.

iantunc, another bagholder I assume? I realize you, the rest of the bagholders along with these so-called developers wish the facts would go away (not accusations, facts. ) but unfortunately for you that's not going to happen. It's everyone's responsibility to out scammers whenever possible.

So what will be the next move of this coin, how do you think? At which point will you be able to say with confidence: "Ha, told ya!"?

That's up to the market to decide. I have no vested interest in this or other high pos coins.

Thank you David for your gracious presence. Doublespeak much?

why do u hate hyp so much? i dont get it
I hate all scams. Read the OP again if you still don't understand why people should have a problem with this.

A legit coin would have modified the latest Peercoin source and had a normal launch, and if they had nothing to hide why edit the fork date out afterwards? Kinda important don't you think?

I'm sorry, legit coin? How many coins have you coded again?

The only one hiding anything is your chicken shit ass.

What does my coding have to do with anything? None to answer your question.

I don't even need to ask to know that you're one of the big bagholders that got in on this scam early. Typical...

I hope you realize this thread will cause some people to buy HYP just despite you. Have a good day.

I considered posting it on the HYP thread, but it's a self-moderated thread. Lol, imagine that

you really should just stop...seriously this crap is getting old...move along now

I agree, stop buying into the HYP. Do your research

I know what you're thinking. Not again!!

Yes unfortunately. This latest shitcoin is being pushed hard in the Poloniex/cryptsy trollboxes, bitcointalk forums & social media as a fair coin when it has one of the most fraudulent distribution schemes in crypto so far.

Let's start with the original ANN mirrored here: https://bitcointa.lk/threads/ann-hyp-hyperstake-proof-of-stake-750-annual-fork-launch.338527

Quote
HyperStake will be created via hard fork of an existing coin, TruckCoin. The fork will occur Sun, 06 Jul 2014 20:30:25 GMT.

HyperStake
Faster-than-light crypto

High PoS coins like HBN (100%), CAP(200%), TEK(500%) is not enough? Enter HyperStake, the coin light-years ahead.

What is HYP?

HyperStake is meant to be an experimentation in cryptocurrency economics. Do you like the thrill of living on the bleeding edge, and get the features before the others? Then HyperStake is for you.
We won't experiment for the stake of experimenting. We want the coin to be viable too.
We will listen to you, we will use bounties for offloading work for on you.
HyperStake is using a fork launch, as mentioned above. This means we had to actually buy into the coin instead of creating an IPO or pre-mining. A quick warning that TRK did have a premine of 120k which is mostly spent and is completely unrelated and uncontrolled by the HYP team.

Hyperstake is based on Truckcoin.

Who are the devs?

Captain presstab and Commander davidlatapie are experienced holders and freelance devs of several coins (HBN, TEK, NOBL, TRK, MINT, XMR...). They are currently the only devs but are open to accept pull requests and submission from other community members.

HyperStake Technical Details:

Proof of Stake
90 Second Block Time
Minimum Age ~ 8 days
Maximum Age - 30 days
Annual Interest Rate - 750%
Maximum Stake Subsidy - 1,000 HYP
Recommended Block Size - 1,600 HYP

Why did you fork an existing coin?
After buying into TruckCoin and seeing the diminishing exchange rate because of lack of dev support, we decided to take things into our own hands. We are giving the TRK community a chance to make their coins worth something again. We get to take the coin into our own hands through a voluntary hard fork and we plan on adding many features through time. Join the experiment with us.

If you have TRK right now that you would like to be able to use as HYP, then it will need to be withdrawn from any of the exchanges and held in a wallet. You will then be able to locate the wallet.dat file in the appdata directory in the truckcoin folder. Make a copy of the wallet.dat and copy it over to the hyperstake folder. Note that this does not destroy or transfer your truckcoin or anything like that. If you have TRK before the fork you will essentially double your coins for free.

Wallet
We will release a wallet after the hard fork occurs. We will stake the first forked block and we will checkpoint it into the client, upload the repo, and link everyone to a freshly built wallet.

To Do
- Get an exchange
- Updated logo (right now using very basic design)
- Block explorer
- Website

Seems innocent enough. Since they're forking TRK, i'm sure they've given everyone plenty of time to buy TRK and get free HYP right? Wrong Angry

 Shocked

Mere HOURS, when they knew they were going to fork it weeks in advance  Huh

This allowed these schemers to pick up cheap TRK unnoticed prior to launching/forking their new HYP coin (don't worry, i'm sure they didn't do this due to their impeccable morals.. HAHAHAHAHAH) allowing them to get freee HYP at the fork. Not to mention the bags of the TRK shitcoin they were holding which prompted them to start this Hyperscam in the first place.

This is called buying with inside information (insider trading) and it's ILLIGAL! If this were securities/stocks/equities and not crypto, these clowns would be spending years in FEDERAL PRISON for insider trading.

Guaranteed i'm not the only one that has a problem with this distribution scheme... clearly the launch/fork date needed to be edited out of the present day ANN (it has been) else it might raise some questions!

HYP has had close to a 1000% rise in the past few weeks, time to put a stop to this nonsense... shitcoins like this give crypto a bad name. The game is rigged friends and guess who benefits?  Surprise! captain and commander here at the top of the richlist.
