In the future all the coins would of been lost through accidents, forgetting passwords or natural occurrences but that shouldn't be for at least a few hundred years

I only see potential in Waves currently but I don't think it's going to compete directly but maybe work together with their unique ideas

I mean thats the reason why all of us are investing right? We want it to be as successful as possible and hopefully gets accepted at all companies one day

Hi, I found this on the website: "In the future, if Bitcoin becomes truly popular, each single Bitcoin will have to be worth at least hundreds of thousands of dollars in order to accommodate this additional demand." It has to be that way since there never would be more than 21 million Bitcoins.
If I in the future should buy an USB-cable worth 1 USD and 1 Bitcoin is worth 500 000 USD. Would the cable cost 0,000002 Bitcoins? If so, it would be difficult to quickly get an impression of what the products costs. Its to many zeros.
First of all, it think it is impossible for bitcoin to reach 500 000 USD, even in 50 years. It is just an enormous price and all the bitcoins supply would cost more than all the real money from the whole world. You cant even imagine suge a big number. It doesnt matter how many zeros are. Most of bitcoin wallet have the option to set your balance in $ so when you send bitcoins to someone just type 1$/10$/100$ and it immediately calculate the amount of bitcoins. There is nothing to worry about Why is it impossible? Bitcoin isn't like other currencies it has a limit of 21 million coins which means the closer you get to that the more in theory it should be worth.

I don't think incoming should be charged a fee only those which are sending should be I'll be staying away from localbitcoins.

Really does depend on the project if it's encouraging and maybe related to cryptocurrencies that would be ideal.

The theory is that we get a value increase by limiting the coins. It means not everyone in the world will have them therefore they are rare. sort of like gold.

The more transparency in modern day medicine the better and I believe the blockchain can provide that.

It's not the new gold. It's a total different system. Gold will forever have a value and back up fiat. But Bitcoin doesn't need a physcial backing as it's proved over the years

Probably joining a pool and mining. Faucets literally give out very little and aren't worthwhile. But even then your mining rig isn't very good for mining Bitcoin

Just had this today and I'm not even sure how they got my email as I'm not used it on any websites related to Bitcoin.

Dear clients, swap of YOC coins will happen soon, therefore we ask you to not use old addresses for deposit, transactions will not be credited. Swap rate is 1:25. We will notify you when swap is completed. No actions are required from your side. SO my understanding is that we don't actually have to go through a process and you will convert it over automatically?

Cloud mining just doesn't work. It's a ponzi scheme and the very few early adopters are the ones which will make a profit whilst supporting something which will eventually scam many people.

Just commit another murder. Your punishing someone for committing a murder and then do it yourself. its hypocritical

COuld be a bubble leading up to the fork. No one really knows. I would say it isn't just because it has dropped a few times in the last few hours.

If WW3 is nuclear as speculated, a bunker with years of rations would probably be best preparation.
Probably not going to go nuclear. No one wants their country devastated and as soon as one person launches everyone will.

Thanks for putting this out. I think there's been much confusion on the topic.

it is irrefutable that for now the bitcoin to be the best to beat all investments including gold, I hope the upward price trend continues in 2018 so I get richer and soon create a new business so I'm not tied to the office work routine.
Most expensive currency in the world ever. your right. Gold has loads of drawbacks which bitcoin addresses theres no mystery in why its worth more right now
