If there is something like stability in cryptocurrency I am sure a lot of countries would have show green signal to cryptocurrency, also most countries would have replaced fiat currency. The reason behind such topic is downfall in the market which is suppose to be okay very soon. Crypto is famous for its high volatility not for stability.

I am currently participating in several ICO projects but not much as 2018. Its difficult to find a good project right now.
This happens only if the market goes down ICO's are like a precious gem in 2017 but now it looks like a garbage. Everyone has started ICO's without a proper setup, and finally ending up in loss and spoiling their reputation on their own. Nowadays finding a good project is depending upon their team and it's development. |

This is really unexpected for me.. usually before a hardfork come a huge growth in price before , and a big dump just after it takes place. But seems that ETH didnt dumped in price. MOre strange is a continued stability of market..no more volatility anymore, which is good for a massive adoption!
Eth hardfork is a serious topic going across this forum and I hope they will not postpone it this time by giving a shit reason, we will not always be in a volatile market, people come with different speculations but we need to be very cautious about the market and it's future. |

You are absolutely right mate. Bitcoin is not being used as a technology but is being used as an asset. There are a lot of speculators in the market now.
We can say that the majority dominance in the crypto community is filled with speculators. Well it's not bad because bitcoin is growing eventually.
But the fact that Bitcoin is not being used as a currency and is being used as an asset/stock to trade in the market.
I guess when wide adoption of bitcoin takes place and there are large number of stores accepting bitcoin then BTC will be used more as a currency and less as an asset.
Mate, I agree with you bitcoin is only used as a asset but not as a technology. People need time to understand the characteristic and its features to use it as a technology. Current market conditions are really disgusting and where you find that cryptos are over the moon? And yes most of them are desperately waiting for the same but the market seems to be unparallel and I believe it will bounce back very soon. and once again BTC is going to prove how potential it is by reaching over the moon again just wait and watch.

If we want to raise the price of bitcoin we need to make massive adoption so that the demand will increase automatically also BTC should come up with some unique ideas where the public should rely to buy more apart from this big investors need to jump in BTC to pump the value. The price is around $3500 now. Price has only went down. If it does go up, it goes back down later on. Does anyone here think there is no future for btc anymore? When the price went to 5k then 10k then 15k and then close to 20k, i thought... wow i think by end of 2018 it would be 50k at least. And then it dropped all the way down and now its even worst. I had thought mcafee prediction of 1 million in few year was foolish. But i thought by then, 100k would seem very reasonable. Now... it doesn't even look like it will hit 10k even for a very long time.Does anyone here there is no future for btc anymore? Anyone that has bought btc and held it for the last 1.5 year already is down a lot of money unless you are trading and even then most traders are losing.
I had thought wow if btc would go up to 50k, that would be a decent size of money. And if it go to 100k, i would be happy. And if it ever goes to 300k, wow that would be more than good enough. I did thought about hey imagine btc goes up to 1 million, then well most people would be millionaires if they had at least 2 btc etc. So someone with 5 btc would feel very good. But now... it doesn't seem like any of this would happen anytime soon? There is basically no progress at all for btc.. it keeps going down.
I thought to myself... wow if btc goes to a high enough price, i might not have to worry about money anymore. Thus anyone here with a job or no job or low paying job or whatnot, btc might be enough to not worry about money anymore. I mean i'm sure tons of people thought about this right?
People come up with such post only if the market is facing tough situations, Remember one thing those who made huge money from this were holders for years and they deserved the fruit in 2017. Be optimistic and have faith in this technology, Hopefully the value of BTC will pump slowly in the third quarter and the last quarter will be great this time. |

The banks don't need to do pump and dump scheme, they make a lot of money from interest and also from fees, from loans and also from exchange every business days, and yes a lot of banks use XRP. I not think someone will send 100$ billion in one single transaction with XRP to a bank.
Correct, I personally feel if banks are involved in cryptocurrency all they look is for money. Let crypto be different from banking system If this doesn't happen I am sure they will play according to the situation, XRP need to come up with some strong decisions where as the investors need to be benefitted from this and I believe they will not foul play. |

Today I prefer centralized cryptocurrency exchanges. Since there is no such dynamics and very often such exchanges offer their tokens which also grow in price. /
Its not about in which you trade either it is centralized or decentralized, the problem with the centralized is it can be hacked anytime also your data's. where as decentralized system is open I am saying you that this is better think before investing because its your hardearned money. we also need to have a look on the development. |

Well, people is tired about the bounty and the airdrop because they have just wasted their times on working on their laptop.
You haven't smell the taste of bounty/aitdrop it's not about wasting time just to remind you the market price value plays a vital role at this moment else there is a separate group called bounty hunters. Yes most of the scammers disastered the reputation of bounties and a lot of ICO failed to reach the soft cap. I am sure it will bounce back again for sure. |

The coin would probably grow to $ 200 this week. But Bitcoin broke those expectations yesterday. But I think that the Eth coin will still grow this week.
This crypto currency story has become like a seasaw game in my opinion, it pumps and dumps two times in a month and there is no any specific change on the market. Crypto needs a change a come up with some new ideas to regain its trust on the public, In my point of view on reaching nearly $200 for ethereum is not so easy for the current week as the value started to drop. |

You are insane! We never should prioritize market cap when choosing a project to invest. We must prioritize the projects core, developments, use case, team members and so on. Also, how realistic is the roadmap should be taken care of. Then we may check for the marketcap, value, circulation & max supply etc.
I agree with you, we need to look on this core, developments and its team to see how potential the project is all about. If the overview is well and good I am sure the market cap and other stuffs will automatically gear up also the project will get a great reputation and people will start Invest even if they plan for new projects in Future. |
