Even scammers can betray each other to have it all, greed usually comes with a price and that is what happens here, and how can they get the authority involved when the money was stolen? The only choice is to take matters into their own hands, this is really a sad story, losing your life this way is horrible, I hopes other scammers can learn from this.

it doesn't really compromise any security if it is done correctly and by the right person. a lot of cases on different exchanges have been solved this way in the past. the problem is that it is a lot of work to recover these coins so exchanges rarely bother with it unless the amount is significant enough to justify the effort.
It's not dangerous if done correctly...
Having the ability to expose private keys (and to bypass the security that protects them) is dangerous. There is no "correct" way or "right person" that eliminates that danger. I think you are under-estimating how seriously a company like Coinbase protects its keys. Other exchanges may be more cavalier, but those are the ones that get hacked. just use a hardware security module. its only about 10 grand |

For sometime now all the upcoming cryptocurrencies are making a paradigm shift in our old ICO format and trying to do IEOs first. I know it's one of the best remedies for them even on this hard times in cryptocurrency markets. I want to know that is this going to help the upcoming coins or not?
Also is it that they want to just make their monies and run away because now they think the easiest way to make people buy their coins is to do an IEO??
I think cheats or scammers will find it difficult if they are dealing with the IEO now. The IEO is designed as a way to secure a project. become more selective for an irresponsible project Yes, the IEO secures it from scammers. I think the IEO funds will be safe if it is held by exchange, the IEO will be better in the future and this will become a target of many investors. the exchange does not hold the funds, they do vet the projects heavily though, to ensure their customers dont get burnt buying a bum coin. last thing they want is pissed off users. they want the coin to do well after IEO so they must check the project very carefully |

Ok. this is a great project. The Kinwa token is an ERC20 but the actual coin is called TAOCOIN and there is a IOS wallet if you search "TaoPassport" on the app store. the Taocoin runs on a private chain and the value is 1 TAOCOIN to 1 Taiwan Dollar, transactions are near instant and it is really being accepted at a few locations in Taipei and also all over Green Island which is an aboriginal island just off Taiwan. You can use it to pay for Hotels and food on the island which is mainly populated with aboriginal people from the Tao tribe. i think anyone reading this thread can easily see that any smart contract platform that ISNT Ethereum has nothing but PAID shills. ethereum has actual developers developing stuff that people need to use, all the other ones seem to just have a load of paid shills.
