62  Economy / Speculation / Re: How many bitcoins do I need to retire in 20 years? on: September 06, 2016, 09:46:35 AM
The number of bitcoins will depend on the kind of life style you would want to live...you can consider using the bitcoins to set up your own company(s) maybe set up a family farm....The options are endless Huh
otherwise between 100-10000 bitcoins things should be okay for a retired bitcoiner Smiley
Lol I think 10k bitcoin is the amount that is too large. I'm sure you will not reach that amount even if you use a variety of methods to be used within a period of 20 years. unless you're running a large business then it is a popular business and explode. you can become a millionaire from it

its not too much, if you really want to live a decent life then the more bitcoins you will have the better it will be though thats just my opinion

Ofcourse the more the better but that's with anything money related. But realisticly you will need alot to retire. I am not even sure if bitcoin will survive for that long but if they you still don't know how much they will be worth at that time. It all depends on alot of variables which are unpredictable so if you are aiming for retirement it is best to just get as much as you can before big events happen.
63  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: how strong is bitcoin really? on: September 06, 2016, 09:01:39 AM
Pretty strong and persistent I would say, There where many attacks and negative criticism on bitcoin from as soon as it started till now and it had easily maintained it's status and kept growing up until now, Bitcoin fills a need for the users and I think it would persist as long as it keeps doing that.

Yes bitcoin has a very strong core. If we get more positive news instead of negative then perhaps we could so big who could know. If the hacking fiasco's didn't happen then we would be sitting above 1k  + for sure but these problems killed the faith of some investors and people so that's why we are a little below. I'm sure with time bitcoin or any digital currency like this will grow more on the people as the newer generations get older.
64  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: If prices crash after halving, what would you do? on: September 05, 2016, 09:33:35 AM
Going to buy more and more if prices crash, I firmly believe it will go up again after a crash lol but ofcourse it also depends why it crashed in the first place so.. I can't really tell before it happens. But lets say they become 2$ a pop then you bet ya that I'd put in atleast 1k.
65  Other / Off-topic / Re: How do I make money with $100 USD BTC on: September 05, 2016, 09:18:14 AM
Well you know why I love bitcoin? Cause you make money by doing nothing most of the time!
If you had kept your 100$ as btc all trough today you would've made money already by just doing nothing and having the bitcoin.
66  Economy / Marketplace / Re: How can we encourage local businesses to accept BTC? on: September 05, 2016, 09:14:13 AM
The good we do introduce it to people who do not yet know . Teach them how to use it and explain to them that bitcoin is a very fast way of payment . We should teach them step by step how to use it and how they can be converted into cash . The principle should be that many of them can be put to the bitcoin .

Yes and first we have to wait for the btc to be stable or steadily rising so they don't see the negative side of losing their money cause it drops quite often. Also we need alot of people using btc for it to be worth it to them. They will not put up a payment method just for it to be using once a month.
67  Other / Off-topic / Re: Will you quit your day job to go full time on bitcoin? on: September 05, 2016, 09:03:00 AM
Nah I have a family to feed and bills to pay. Quitting is just not in my cards right now.
If I would have a business plan and big capital then yeah why not but right now I need stability even though I really love btc.

69  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you always missed the right time to sell/buy bitcoin? on: September 01, 2016, 08:43:52 AM
Often I miss the right time but nowadays I make sure to keep track of everything using apps on my phone and reading up on the forums a few times a day.
70  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Everyone looses in the long run on: September 01, 2016, 08:36:10 AM
It is hard to win in the long run if you do not have a good amount of bankroll you can use in gambling. The more you play the lesser your chances and if you are an emotional person you will not succeed in gambling because you will be easy affected by your feelings which is not good in gambling.

Yeah but anyways it's all about luck. In the long run if you would keep playing unlimited you would go bankrupt. But if you just get lucky once and quit after that (lets say a jackpot) thats how you win.
71  Other / Off-topic / Re: Best place to get a free dog on: September 01, 2016, 08:29:28 AM
Hear me up just a piece of advice, chihuahua's might be small but they want alot of attention. Dogs get sick, need walking and you have to train them aswell. They are a big time investment and a lifestyle, only take a dog if they are truly your passion and you can afford it not just with money but with your time aswell.
72  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why is the price dropping? on: September 01, 2016, 08:22:21 AM
Right now I'm also in a tough position thinking about buying some btc just waiting for the right time. They are a little stable at the moment and I'm just waiting to see if the next spike is going to be a spike up or a spike down.
73  Economy / Economics / Re: I'm not gonna sell any coin. on: September 01, 2016, 08:12:13 AM
As you see, the Bitcoin is crashing and trying to break a new low until it stop.
But I won't sell any Bitcoin at this time, I believe it will rise again as it always do. Smiley

i think it is smart to don't sell them now when price is not so large, it is only 450$ and there will be halving in July this year so price will rise even more, maybe to 1000$

and everyone shouldn't sell their coins when price is small because if they will, they will lose money they could get by selling them later, so it would be really bad idea to sell them now
Yes like he said that's smart once in the future it will be 1k each or even higher and that will be the time to sell i think peak was already like 800 euro few months ago and now its back down to 500.
74  Economy / Economics / Re: Best way to manage money? on: September 01, 2016, 07:48:33 AM
First of all a budget is number 1, write down everything you NEED to pay per month like groceries bills etc, after that you can see much you'll have left after basics needs. Whats left of the money you can decide how much to save and how much to spend on extra's
75  Other / Archival / Re: Would you keepuse Bitcoin if government says bitcoin is illegal in your country? on: September 01, 2016, 07:32:44 AM
of course i would be using it in my opinion, it is the best currency ever

+1 Can't forbid me to buy virtual coins for my own money and trade them back in, that would be nonsense.. I'd buy even more to piss them off lol

78  Economy / Speculation / Re: 400$ was the top on: July 06, 2016, 12:25:17 PM
I don't think that price will ever go back to $400 in coming months, price will keep on rising as halving is also near and we will see ATH at the end of the year.

If people will start dumping, believe me the price can easily fall back even to 300.
Everything will depend on what will happen After the halving. The time to wait for things Before the halving is over.
79  Economy / Speculation / Re: When will bitcoin reach 500 USD again ? on: July 02, 2016, 11:07:00 PM

I'm hoping for $500 or below.

Why would you ever hope for btc to go down? there is no point lol just invest smaller and cash out bigger profit when btc hits the moon man you dont want the price low because then the people will be pansies.

I agree there is no reason that you'd want it to go down, you should just buy now and hold for after the halving process because most likely you will make at least double your money in the time period of around 2-3 months.
I agree Btc can/will increase but I dont think price would double in near future. But maybe it just blooms all the way up. who knows, right?

You will see that the price will double in the near future, the price of bitcoin is increasing and nowadays the image of bitcoin is much good, and a few months ago (at the time when the price was at $350) everyone was saying that the price will not double, but now we can see it doubled.

I bought when price was $250 last year so at this stage is more then double for me so my investment got doubled only in 14 months and which in never possible with any other investment.

I bought when the price was 350 and I am happy it did. But like OP was curious, i have been curious too. The price was under 400 dollars for years.
It's good to see we are finally at a 'normal' price
80  Other / Off-topic / Re: What is your plan to get rich with Bitcoin? on: June 16, 2016, 08:02:46 PM
I've got no plan to get rich with bitcoin. Having a good profit would be very nice, but it's not the main goal.
My main goal is because it's fun and i like being part of this movement.
