61  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin up to $20,000 before 2020? on: October 01, 2019, 06:10:47 PM
Bitcoin reaching  $20k before 2020 is a long blurred shot even though i know how volatile bitcoin is. The market has crushed way hard to rise up that sharply. However, this is quite achievable after the upcoming halving of bitoin rewards. We have seen the price of bitcoin going higher especially after it's halvings. Let's wait patiently and see what happens by the end of 2020 and not before Cheesy
62  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: this is a promising project, what do you think? on: October 01, 2019, 05:39:27 PM
I also came across this project sometime ago but when i followed up on their website and only saw avatars of team members i was quite disappointed. I mean why would any responsible team decide not to put up their images and linkedin profiles out there for the sake of transparency. i hope it becomes successful and they don't deceive bounty hunters in the end. Wish them the very best!
63  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you staking or mining, or both? on: October 01, 2019, 05:33:28 PM
I prefer the Proof of Stake consensus mechanism to Proof of Work due to the easy to use nature of PoS. The expenses made to set up a PoW network is higher than that of PoS. Most of it all there are numerous staking platforms like Flitsapp, Trittium etc. and all these platforms further make running a masternode very easy than mining cryptocurrencies.
64  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Mass adoption growing or decreasing? on: October 01, 2019, 05:28:34 PM
The adoption of blockchain technology and cryptocurrencies is increasing gradually. I have seen blockchain solutions which have been successfully developed to conduct voting and this was very successful. There are now quite a substantial number of online marketplaces that accept cryptocurrencies as payment.
65  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Trading Secrets on: October 01, 2019, 05:24:27 PM
One of the commonest yet powerful trading lesson i have learnt ever since i joined the crypto industry is to buy when the market is in shock and fear because i know for sure that there is going to be a rise soon. In addition to this, do your own research about projects and don't heed to trading groups as these guys are also monitoring the market like everyone is doing.
66  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What have you done to promote the Blockchain technology & cryptocurrencies? on: October 01, 2019, 09:31:55 AM
I remember when i once organized a meetup for my own family just to educate them about the rudiments of blockchain technology and how it stands the chance of changing the financial industry within the next 5-10 years. I have also spoken to some friends of mine who studied computer science yet have no knowledge about the uprising of this technology. In all my teachings one thing that i have realized is that most members complain that blockchain technology is too complex to grasp even though i try to break everything down to the layman's point of view. Do you think is the readiness to learn that they are lacking or i am just not doing something right? i can use some help here as well folks.
67  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Best time to keep investing? market is crumbling again on: September 30, 2019, 09:54:29 PM
It's quite strange that most crypto investors have not learnt the crypto market cycle all this while. This is the right time to invest especially when you have seen Bitcoin cross $10k several times even up to $13k once. Now we are ranging within $8k and yet some folks are waiting for it to rise to $10k before they see the green light lol. Actually those who enter at that level really missed the upswing of volatility  Wink
68  Economy / Economics / Re: Big risk ,big results. on: September 30, 2019, 09:32:56 PM
That's very true, even in the recent dump of the crypto market little fluctuations are still making some whales some good amount of money but remember is a great risk and i would not encourage anybody trading less than $1k to venture into this. You would earn up losing your hard earned funds.
69  Economy / Economics / Re: Paper Bitcoin eth, ltc and others on: September 30, 2019, 09:15:45 PM
That would disrupt the whole concept of cryptocurrencies mate and it would even worsen the situations in the financial industry mate. It's best if we stick with the digital form of cryptocurrencies as pioneered by Satoshi Nakamoto.
70  Economy / Economics / Re: What are some not so obvious things that damage a country's economy? on: September 30, 2019, 08:50:08 PM
The over use of indulgence in social media, internet, and corruption is what damages most countries. The latter (corruption) can be said about most countries in Africa where sitting presidents steal monies from the public purse of the country. Social media and the use of the internet is also being abused off late. People spent productive hours on social media and this affects the production of any company in which these individuals found themselves in.
71  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Could Anyone help me Regarding Bitcoin True Investment? on: September 30, 2019, 08:29:18 PM
Bitcoin investment in short:
1. Do your own research and give little attention to what anybody is going to say over here!
2. Invest with an amount you can afford to lose without a blink of an eye
3. You might need to hold it for long in order to reap of its high profits
4. Don't be swayed by the market volatility.
5. Finally the choice is yours to invest or not so what ever you choose you bear your own consequences.
#Happy investing!
72  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: CoinGecko is introducing "Trust Score" to combat fake exchange volume on: September 30, 2019, 08:17:18 PM
This is a great news to all investors. Most exchanges these days fake their daily volumes just to attract project managers to list their tokens and coins over there. I really don't want to point fingers at any exchanges but at least if you've been in this industry for quite sometime you should know them by now  Grin
73  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Where To Spen Bitcoins? Full List. on: September 30, 2019, 08:11:06 PM
Bitcoin has taken over the cryptocurrency market. It’s the largest and most well-known digital currency today. Many large companies are accepting Bitcoin as a legitimate source of funds. That is why I  created an epic list of companies where you can spend your Bitcoins.

I think this will be useful for everyone.

Here is the list - https://paybis.com/blog/companies-that-accept-bitcoin/

Let me know if you know some other companies/stores or whatever, I will add them.
Thanks for sharing this with the community. Frankly speaking i never knew number of marketplaces that accept bitcoins have grown to such an extent. This is really impressive and shows a great support and the future of cryptocurrencies being used as a payment method for goods and services.
74  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Good news form North Korea on: September 30, 2019, 08:04:27 PM
The government of North Korea together with its citizens are really supportive of blockchain projects and this is good if you ask me. This can serve as a starter to the global adoption of blockchain technology and it's solutions. The support of the country has seen to the success of so many Korean crypto projects as well. Take for instance Content protocol, etc.
75  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why its hard to attract investors on: September 30, 2019, 05:36:55 PM
It has become very difficult off late to raise funds because of the attitudes of some project managers. Many are the scam projects that have stolen the funds of its users. Most investors have now come to this realisation hence are very careful with projects they invest into. i believe if you have a good product to offer investors would surely come on board.
76  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do not trust New wallets with your fund on: September 30, 2019, 05:11:21 PM
Well i would only endorse Blockchain wallet, Trust wallet, IM Token wallet as the cryptocurrency wallets that you should hold your funds with. Some of these wallets out there are just waiting to shut down and abscond with the funds of users. Stay away from them and only hold your funds with renowned companies like the ones i have mentioned above.
77  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins vs BTC halving on: September 30, 2019, 05:04:32 PM
The halving of Bitcoin block rewards would surely have an impact on the overall cryptocurrency market cap and i am sure we would see some increase in the altcoins as well. However i doubt they would peak up as high as BTC would because most traders are now investing more into BTC other than alts.
78  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IEO is much effective than ICO nowadays. on: September 30, 2019, 04:55:34 PM
The ICO bubble of 2017 has lost it stands to IEO for ever Grin. Many investors got scammed with projects that had no use case but was just based on pump and dumps. The worst part is that, most of these ICOs even fail to list unto exchanges after the ICO but with IEOs investments are opened to traders on the exchange and the tokens or coins are listed quite early to get more investors on board. These days i would prefer IEO to any ICO.
79  Other / Archival / Re: Is KYC benefit to crypto people or not on: September 30, 2019, 04:24:40 PM
I really don't go with the idea of KYC as it sort of flaws the anonymity feature of the whole blockchain technology but i guess we need it now to reduce the series of hacks that are occurring within this industry. Hopefully this can be a thing of the past when the security of blockchain technology is improved beyond the reach of hackers!
80  Economy / Economics / Re: Is bitcoin volatility here to stay? on: September 30, 2019, 04:14:25 PM
Well that's one of the consequences of decentralization and not having any central control. Learn how to live by it and you would make lots of profits trust me. you just have to learn how the market cycles (I bet you would not be right all the time but at least you would make some decent profits) and place your orders. The cryptocurrency market is always going to be volatile unless we choose to give the power back to the government again and settle for fiat corrupt currency.
