61  Economy / Economics / Re: Merging of bitcoin and banks on: August 03, 2016, 08:47:46 AM
Bitcoin can mergin with some banks, but thay will rather develop his prvate chain, btc is transparent with hs public blockchain, bans prefer to hide eveything in his banks books

The banks will have own private chains to record the internal transactions. But that has to connect to the public chains.
Banks will not adopt with bitcoin because they will not make money promoting the use of bitcoins, they just rely on their own system so they can continue to do their thing, some banks are corrupt and would charge hidden charges to its clients so in using blockchain they can do that as they cannot modify the system.

Using the bitcoin can cut the banks operating cost. That is due to the usage of the block chain technology.
62  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Mining ETH or ETC on: August 03, 2016, 08:46:22 AM
At the moment, the price of the ETC is 18% of ETH and the hash rate is 15% of ETH. So it is more profitable to mine ETC.

Yes but hashrate is rising very fast :O

Now, mining ETC is 30% more profitable than mining ETH. But it depends on the ETC price. If that drops, it is less profitable.

Basically, we have to mine and sell the ETC quickly to make some profit. It is too risky to hold the coin.
63  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum and Ethereum classic (abandoned chain) on: August 02, 2016, 06:43:25 AM
The bitcoiners are just pumpers and dumpers. They will pump the Ethereum to higher levels and make profit.
64  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What are we witnessing? a simple ETC pump or a real change? on: August 02, 2016, 06:40:55 AM
Technically ETC is nearly identical to ETH, but the miners have higher immutability standards in practice.

Miners have no higher immutability standards. They just chase the profit. If the ETC price drops, so will the hash rate.
65  Economy / Economics / Re: RBS: Sell everything on: August 02, 2016, 06:38:04 AM
Omg really 16 dollar per barrel omg that is crazy destruction price.I think that price will not go so low.If that happent it will destroy world economy very fast and it can caude man wars because of crises.Better go up.

A lot of oil wells will stop pumping before we reach those levels.
$25-$30 is the absolute bottom as far as marginal cost of production of oil is concerned.

If the oil drops below $30 and stay there for a few months, there will be no North Sea oil production at all.

67  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETC Soon Back To Sub 1 Cent on: August 02, 2016, 06:33:26 AM
The bitcoin whales pump the ETC to destroy the ETH. When ETH is destroyed, they will dump the ETC to destroy it as well.
68  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The DAO Disaster Illustrates Differing Philosophies in Bitcoin and Ethereum on: August 01, 2016, 10:33:00 AM
They are in a state of competition, but I think they should be able to live in peace.

That is right. It depends on who has got the power to destroy the other. It seems that the bitcoiners are supporting the ETC.
69  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETC Soon Back To Sub 1 Cent on: August 01, 2016, 10:30:49 AM
WOW you seem mighty desperate and threatened by ETC.
You posted this exact same sentence + link already with a different topic name (spamming)
Someone should report this Fraud.

It's hilarious because of all the grand boasting you did about Ethereum
and yet the crowd has spoken.. they want ETC not ETH.
So your shitting your pants.

..the crowd also voted you as a fraud.  Cheesy

Feel the walls closing in on you ? getting hard to breath with that bag your clutching ?

Good ..suffer Fraud boy.

Do you want ETC? Do you think ETC is not a scam? ETC is part of the Ethereum, so it could also be a scam?
70  Economy / Economics / Re: RBS: Sell everything on: August 01, 2016, 10:24:46 AM
Not the right time to sell bitcoins as price is not too high at a moment so if you want to earn higher profits then I think you should hold it for a longer time.

If the bitcoin price drops further to below $600, that will be a very good time to buy some more as it will rise in 6 months.
71  Economy / Economics / Re: Merging of bitcoin and banks on: August 01, 2016, 10:22:27 AM
The merging of bitcoin and banks will happen in 10 to 20 years. It is in the banks interest to make more profit.
72  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: the dao was a scam on: August 01, 2016, 10:20:06 AM
In still not completely convinced this wasn't intentional, but so far they have played the inadvertent aspect to great effect

I can go with the idea that it *became* a scam at a certain point, when the over-ambitious authors of it realized that this thing grew totally over their heads and didn't know how to get out of it.  But I do think they were honest at the beginning at least, with truckloads of hubris and ego-inflation.

Do you think the ETC is more scam than the ETH? It seems that could be a big pump and dump scam.

ETC is not a scam. ETC is the real ETH and ETH right now is the HF'd coin which by all measurements or metrics whatever you call it is not a crypto anymore. Do you know what message was in the Bitcoin genesis? Something about the '09 bailout of banks, this HF was a bailout of investors who played the markets like anybody else does. Just frigging ridiculous and you dare say ETC is a scam? ETC is the real deal and ETH is a frigging joke man. I am not gonna say ETH is a scam because people have destroyed that word but it is a joke and a disgrace to crypto.

The Bitcoin has hard forked, so is the Monero. Does it mean they are scams. The ETC has hard forked before.

74  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Mining ETH or ETC on: July 28, 2016, 08:35:22 AM
Price of ETC dropped for more than 20% in one day. Currently ETH is more profitable and i will stick to that mostly because its more stable atm. Later who knows, maybe i will switch to ETC if something comes out if it
edit: and price is back again.....  that was the point , to unstable atm

I also stick most of my mining power to the ETH. The ETC pools are not very reliable. I got high rejection.

Try mine pool, now i have over 20 blocks in a row with no uncle, it have to be very fast  Grin
Ethteam.com

It is OK to mine in a small pool when not many people notice that. I mine in big pools, the rejection is very high due to attacks.

I have similar experience. I mined the nanopool for ETC, I got 25% of the rejection. It seems the DDoS protection is not ideal.
75  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The DAO FAIL on: July 28, 2016, 08:34:05 AM
Without immutability, we're no better than fiat.  -Johnny_Mnemonic

With immutability we're just a legacy bug ridden piece of software.

~LOL~

I think the Monero has also hard forked to correct some kind of problems. So is the bitcoin and other coins.
but not to bail out investors. of a third party
and the bitcoin and monero didnt split in two ? or are there now monero 1 and 2 ?
know what they had true real consensus. not the propaganda of consensus.

As long as one miner like to continue mining the fork of a coin, it will split into two chains. But one chain will die eventually.

That is right. a 51% of attack can kill a chain. The ETC hash rate is 300GH/s at the moment, if it reduces further, it might be attacked.
76  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Ether Mining on: July 28, 2016, 08:32:37 AM
ETC mining is very profitable at the moment. But you have to sell it quick. The price is very volatile.

There are many DDoS on the ETC and ETH pools. Can anybody recommend a pool that has good protection?

https://etc.nanopool.org/   Green in colour

and

https://eth.nanopool.org/  Orange in colour

I used the https://etc.nanopool.org/, the ping time is just 35 ms, but I got 25% of rejection rate. Why is that?
77  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: the dao was a scam on: July 28, 2016, 08:20:07 AM
Possible insider suggests Ethereum foundation is a mess , and EThereum is doomed-

https://www.cryptocoinsnews.com/source-ethereum-insiders-believe-dao-hack-inside-job/

People are buying with Ethereum, both ETC and ETH using the bitcoin. The volume is high. Why doomed?

I think the Ethereum will survive. It might survive in two forms, the ETH or ETC, or only one of the two.
78  Economy / Economics / Re: Big Crash coming on: July 28, 2016, 08:18:33 AM
The so-called free lunch they actually have a price and the bills are coming. The question is whether Bitcoin can save us from this chaos or not.
i think bitcoins can save the humanity from financial crisis that is most probably going to happen, i hope bitcoin will replace dollar in the near future

That is a wishful thinking. I think it will take several decades for the bitcoin to replace the US dollar and it is more widely adopted.

80  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Still worth buying GPUs? on: July 26, 2016, 03:06:16 PM
It is still worth buying GPUS, Surely?

always

just now you can do 0.13 btc per day with a rig of 6 x 1070, just saying...

approaching roi of one month, pretty crazy...

Which coin do you mine to get such a high return of investment. I thought ETC would not give you such return.
