I'm running a Linux masternode and the payouts above are about what I'm getting. Should I be getting better results?

Where can I get the Gravity wallet (is it available yet)?
|
|
|
Wallet uses way to much memory.... running a Linux system and the latest wallet uses 2 GB of memory. I've run a lot of coins, NONE of them use this much memory. Need a new wallet that doesn't use so much memory.

Why do we need to move all coins to a single address... what a pain.
Why can't we just import all of our addresses?
|
|
|
It appears this coin is just plain dead. Continual wallet problems, explorer problems, outdated code and no new developments.
Looks like it's time to dump this coin and move on to another coin. Too many good coins out there with developers that actually respond to inquiries as well as keep the community up to date AND update/improve the code.
Sad... since this was my very first masternode coin. Oh well, live, learn, move on.

New wallet was syncing... as of now it says no block source available and is 28 hours behind.
Anyone know what's up?

I know I keep asking this... but can we get any updates on the progress of the new wallet?
No. So, is this coin dead?

Very excited for this! Do you guys know a ball park range for the MN Returns?
Masternodes Returns are directly related to how many coins are staking and how many Masternodes there are. The more who stake. The better the returns so if you have Masternodes you too can support the entire process by also having coins stake. Same with the Community. If you stake as many coins as you can you support the Masternodes and the entire ecosystem/Future of KORE Projects. For this we will be forever grateful and will be in all our best interests. MikeMike So will you be able to stake in the same wallet as your masternode, or will you have to run two wallets, one for staking and one for masternodes?

Is there a timeline for the new wallet with masternode capability?

|

Is there any update/ETA on the new wallet with masternode capability?

Ok, this is just getting annoying.
Ban him already. I come here to get updates about the coin, not listen to someone complain about... actually, I don't even know what he's complaining about.
Crypto is still somewhat the wild, wild west. Invest at your own risk. If you lose, quit crying and move on.

I'm running 2 MN coins. Bitcloud and 8bit on the same container. Compare.
Nothing to compare here. When 8bit was as small as bitcloud is (blockchain height & size, utxo size), people were running 10 wallets concurrently on 1GB machines. Agreed it can't be compared to Bitcloud... but 8Bit uses WAY to many resources.... What is the ETA on the new wallet with new mn coin requirements?

Is there a way to increase syncing speed? My masternode is on a Vultr vps. The syncing of the masternode can't keep up with the increment of the blockchain, so it is getting more and more behind. I have 512mb memory and 2GB swap. How can I speed this up?
1) Use bootstrap or install parsed blockchain 2) I forgot about forks since I use 1GB ram + 2GB swap I'm running a 2 gb ram system (no swap, because the system doesn't allow it). And it just keeps dying. When is the new wallet going to be available?
|
|

I have been informed you may still trade KORE on Bittrex. All Deposits and Withdrawals are frozen. Again,... DO NOT send any coins till you have the new wallet installed. We will inform the Community when it will be available. A Swap is a lengthy process. This is my first one and I too am learning much. Your patience during this most important time in KORE History is appreciated! ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) MikeMike Thanks Mike! While we are all excited and want the new wallet NOW... please take all the time you need. No one will remember waiting an extra hour or so, but they WILL remember if something goes wrong with the wallet or their coins! Will the number of MN coins be announced with the wallet release or can we be told now?

Well its a pretty old computer. P4 with 2GB of ram. Its only job is the 8bit wallet....so i dunno.
This setup is perfectly fine to run the wallet. Even without swap (although I recommend having extra 2GB swap). Random crashes every few weeks or months are not something worth further investigation (I spot such ones rarely). Agreed. I would just focus on completing the new wallet with the new coins per masternode requirements. Would be great to have that soon!

Is anybody syncing? Have restarted a couple of times and just get "no block source available" message. Update with the nodes above and it didn't help.
Everything seems dead for the past 2 days...
When are we going to get a real update that actually works?
|
|
|
Since many people already know it, no need to keep it secret anymore - indeed, incoming 8BIT version will use PIVX codebase. However, it will be not pure clone, the goal is to use current chain with this code base, therefore many things need to be changed (ie hashing algo).
Is there a timeline / ETA for the new wallet? As well as how many coins will be required for a masternode? Seems like 1024 is a good number for masternodes...

Sitting on 500 Kore at the moment... waiting on the new release on 10/14.
How soon will we know how many coins are needed for a masternode? It'd be nice to know well before the 14th to know whether or not I need to grab a few more.
Any idea on when this info will be released (hopefully, before the 14th)?

Can anyone get synced and running a masternode with the new wallet?
I grabbed the new wallet and compiled it. Have it on my VPS. Some start but won't run. Gives an error that says it can't connect.
Have all the necessary "stuff". Have many masternodes running with other coins AND HAD DAS running until this new wallet.
What the frick is going on?
