Received the correct amount of Bytes as per new rules. Do we have to backup the wallet every time after Black byte distribution as its not registered on the DAG and kept locally?
You don't have to backup anything; however, highly suggested you make backups all the time (specifically after any blackbyte send/receive). No one ever regretted making too many backups. Most people complain that didn't make a backup when they should have. My doubt is about how black bytes are tracked and how to get back up and running in case of a hdd crash. Most cases, having the private key of the address is enough if its tracked through DAG / blockchain, but I believe black bytes are transferred P2P with no involvement of DAG / blockchain.

Really interested about the progress and underlying tech of this project. The power of distributed computing is greatly overlooked in many projects that are getting released in crypto world.

Hello,
Just stumbled accross this little gem of a coin today.
downloaded wallet wich was very slow syncing, so I downloaded bootstrap to help it along.
when I opened wallet again it started to import bootstrap blockchain data file which is fine.
Only problem is that over an hour has passed and wallet is still importing the bootstrap data.
Is this Normal ??
This should be fine I think. Probably you can check the debug.log file under AppData folder to confirm no critical errors are showing up there. Also, saw somewhere here that Windows wallet should run as Admin to avoid application crash..

Is there any required amount of BPL to be part of the delegate. I'm planing to participate and lend my BPL for interest. I hope to see a good list of delegates in the coming days after BPL being listed on exchanges. If this is going to work out just as how ARK did, I'm keeping mine for the rest of my life. I have the same question to ask, but it seems no much information about this and I have asked in the slack channel, also no one response, It seems to be a secret? Delegate registration fee is 10 BPL and voter fee is 1 BPL. Make sure you are using BPL client and not ARK client to connect to BPL mainnet and register the delegate, as ARK client charges 25 BPL vs 10 BPL in BPL client. I am running a delegate "neon" for BPL and forging without any significant issues so far.

I see a healthy roadmap and active development from the dev side to cover the roadmap on time. Do we have more details on the next item in roadmap: "SignatumPay" feature anywhere? Is it some kind of anonymous payment option as the coin already supports Tor network?
|
|
|
How is the TOR feature of this coin different from the optional TOR network support available for other coins? Just curious to know how this stands out before investing? Also, is the premine wallet staking ongoing and accepted by the community, as its adding the stake weight to a very high level? Moreover I couldn't find details of the actual amount of coins that are reserved as Dev fee from the premine and would that consider the stake rewards of the premine?

Is Gas price setting in MEW really that important while generating the batch by moving EXOR from child to parent address? Let me know if anyone tried it with Gas price as 1 Gwei.
Everything is fine with 1 gwei, only long time. But 21 times cheaper))) Thanks for clarifying! Will go with 1 gwei compared to 21 gwei for occasions when I am not a hurry

Lottery participation done! Seems like 1 LTE is spent from 101 received while participating in the lottery..

Building the wallet from source works (tried on Ubuntu 14). You might have to provide execute permission for leveldb folder explicitly before starting the build, apart from installing all the dependencies.

Thanks, for sharing this.

Can someone point me to a guide on how payment works for renting your drive space? I tried renting around 20 GB space for about a month and I can see around 4 Storj tokens got credited to my address recently..

Thanks dev, received my first round of DeepOnion coins! Seems like these number of coins are not nearly enough to build stake weight; staking is enabled but showing as false.

Locking the thread as the pool is closed now.

Locking this topic as pool is brought offline due to a cloud vps failure where the pool is hosted. No blocks are pending in the pool for payout.

There was no pending blocks to pay in the pool to cut and run Cloud VPS company had a catastrophic failure and brought down most of the servers without any warning to users. People are still trying to figure how to bring back the servers.

Once the Musiconomi platform launches and takes off, the popularity and adoption of $MUSIC will sky rocket.
As its published on top of Musicoin blockchain, to transfer Musiconomi tokens user would need access to Musicoin to pay for the Gas price right? That's what I see for other tokens published on Ethereum blockchain.
