61  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [PRE-ANN] [NILI] NILIcoins Art-coins on: September 15, 2014, 12:11:24 PM
Why don't you post samples of your artwork?

maybe because it's 100% scam?

Or he is searching on google now..

I don't think its a scam as Nili actually a public figure in the Israeli cryptocurrency scene, and she is an artist
But I would wait for NXT to issue "monetary system"... its very similar idea to what Nili is trying to do here but simpler

63  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SuperNet, are you in? on: September 07, 2014, 07:59:29 PM
I think the poll is unnecessarily polarizing. It doesn't have to be a strong yes or no.

Personally, I do not invest unless I understand. Frankly I do not understand Supernet, therefore I will sit it out.

Same reason why i'm out, I'm a NXT believer and I think ji777 do amazing work, but I just don't understand SuperNet (plus hype is usually a bad investment)

Edit : I should add that it took me time to understand ji777's MGW, and it was worth every second Smiley
64  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: NXT, LTC on: September 02, 2014, 07:49:36 PM
Nxt have so much innovation to offer while LTC well... its a clone Smiley
There is no reason for its price to rise again

The problem I see with NXT's innovation is that its a bit hard to grasp and understand, but eventually people will be able to see its benefits.
65  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is CounterParty (XCP) severely undervalued? on: August 26, 2014, 08:00:07 PM
This thread is great
I am happy to learn about counterparty

I'll play a bit with the wallet and see how it goes Smiley

Looking into the forum I see the community is not that big compared to the other crypto2.0 (Like Nxt, bitshares & Ethereum, its more of the size of NEM that didnt do nothing actually)
66  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What NEM has to offer? on: July 20, 2014, 08:27:36 AM
Quote
the supply is 4,000,000,000! That is a pretty big supply

the supply amount doesn't really matter but from what I understand there are 1000NEMstakes that each worth 1million NEMS
that's only a quarter of the supply.

I get lost on the the graphs at https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=654845.0
is it possible that 25% goes to development?! (like 25% premine?)
I also read about another IPO beside the one at NXT AE... It's all too confusing Smiley
67  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What NEM has to offer? on: July 20, 2014, 08:13:32 AM
From this thread it looks like a regular coin with no innovation.

Excuse me but this "POI" thing is not what is going to make the coin successful. The coin has good marketing but I look for "the new thing" not the same of the old thing in a different name.
The developers say that there is innovation that they cannot disclose yet. when people don't disclose things it makes me worry.

So far it just looks like a well thought bump and dump coin.
68  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What NEM has to offer? on: July 19, 2014, 08:27:12 PM
first NEM isn't pos, it's POI, something new.

Did you see this link at ournem.com http://www.ournem.com/links-1/?

Thanks, I found my info...
Needed to search more
69  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / What NEM has to offer? on: July 19, 2014, 07:37:58 PM
I see there is quite a lot of hype around NEM - NEMstake (maybe its because I spend too much time in the NXT community: ).
But I cant understand what it has to offer that no other coin have?
What make's people believe in it rather than NXT or any other POS coin?

I couldn't find what i'm looking for in http://www.ournem.com/ which is very a pretty website but has lack of information inside it
70  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [NXT] Nxt - Official Thread on: July 07, 2014, 08:06:53 AM
I recommend to be as careful as possible and to have a very long and thorough test phase. Jean-Luc's security concerns are reasonable and we should take them seriously, but to not implement this exciting feature into Nxt would be an unduly harsh measure.

I am sure JL stands on the same ground, but it can't be faster than it is, especially if AT devs haven't integrated it into the core and haven't run it on the testnet yet in that capacity.

Yes but instead of welcoming CIYAM team and their hard work, he drives them away.

I'm sorry but that's not the way you handle a project. JL should find some time to sit and talk with them rather than wait for a perfect solution.

I know I would have been pissed as well if I was at CIYAM position
71  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Cryptsy.com USD markets now open. Come trade with us today! US based. on: July 07, 2014, 07:52:43 AM
Great, hope to see NXT on there soon.

+1
Nxt could really use NXT/USD
72  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which currency should Hive support next? on: June 25, 2014, 05:09:25 PM
Wow it looks like there are a lot of NXT supporters out there.

OK, if there's a great API that we can use so we don't have to host a blockchain ourselves, then we'll look into it for sure.

Nxt is 3rd with market cap and I strongly believe its going to be number 2 quite soon, the community is actually gotten really big lately (for a coin only half an year old)
But it is also very different than most of other altcoins so I recommend you to talk with one of its developers first to see if it can fit Hive.

+1 To wesleyh post

Lots of options make things more complicated and harder to understand and sometimes intimidate people.

And I'm happy the messages can finally be encrypted, its funny to read peoples messages as they think nobody has access to what they say.

Thanks for keeping us updated
75  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which currency should Hive support next? on: June 25, 2014, 03:11:12 PM
I would vote with the others for NXT as well...
Beside bitcoin its the only coin that really have a chance

76  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best Alt coin to invest in 2014 on: June 05, 2014, 07:04:54 AM
I was with Aurora from day one but I was mistaken  (at least I got some profit out of it)

the only 2 alts I hold are NXT and Monero.
Nxt because I believe in it, Monero because its going to get pumped like crazy
77  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which is more likely: NXT valued at $1 ea. or PPC valued at $25 ea. on: June 05, 2014, 07:02:12 AM
I think people, who dont have any NXT cant have an opinion about this thread. If you want your own opinion, just install the NXT Client and look by yourself. For me its the undervaluest coin today and the feature richest on the same time and after doing this, install PPC or LTC or something else and then think 2 minutes which coin is better, but you dont need two minutes. 3 Seconds are enough to see the differences. I love NXT and his Asset Exchange, which is not centralized.

Nxt is the first Coin which has the features, what Ethereum and Bitshares want to have but dont released anything yet!

So look the 500 Coins out there, but only NXT is another Coin, which provide very valuable and usable features for people and businesses.

+1
all you need is to try it for few minutes and you see how it is superior to any other coin (even bitcoin)
78  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Major NXT issues on: June 05, 2014, 06:56:56 AM
That was long...
I see one big problem with NXT currently and that is the bad distribution
Besides that NXT is super innovative
79  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which is more likely: NXT valued at $1 ea. or PPC valued at $25 ea. on: June 05, 2014, 06:50:56 AM
Nxt is an improvement of PPC with a huge community and hype behind it.
In 6 months it became far superior to PPC so I would vote for NXT >1
80  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [NXT] Nxt - Official Thread on: June 04, 2014, 07:38:35 PM

The other downside, which some list as a benefit, is that so much stuff is being pilled onto NXT that it might be confusing to some people to just use as a currency. Although, I think this can mostly be solved by having a "lite" wallet that hides the Forging, Aliases, AE, DSG, messaging etc, and only has Balance/Send/Receive stuff on it. Or at least hides all that stuff by default.

+1
It did take me a while to understand whats going on...

But it just made me understand that NXT is so much more then a currency
